With an atmosphere like this one, any study sesh is bound to go swell. However, as a coffee connoisseur, I see the quality of drinks here deviating from what I normally expect from Foxtail. As a customer service provider, I see some room for improvement in team morale! Please strive to give your customer the best drink, and when they come back to ask for a to-go lid for that med cup you just gave them?
For time's sake, give them the right damn lid.

NO COSTUMER SERVICE IN BOOK AREA. Getting help here is a hassle, I walked in for the first time in my life to buy books for upcoming term. Chunky short hair girl at desk "pretty much is self service you look for your own books" I agree but a little help with what do u need to find a book, as in the classes codes. I guess that is too much for them to help you with taking into consideration how much you are paying for those books. The good: they match prices from other bookstores, they have a cafe and overpriced ucf items. August 15, 2016.

Coffee is fine but the music in Foxtail is loud and obnoxious. Every song so far has been some sort of arena rock during my visit. This isn t fitting for a coffee shop in my opinion. Hopefully a revision can be made to the soundtrack. Perhaps something instrumental and less intrusive?

This is THE place for UCF gear anywhere. And sadly, it is the MOST DIFFICULT place to get to. I am always amazed at how UCF makes it so hard for fans to get team gear. Why is that? Why hasn't the university at least provided a few free 30 minute parking spaces in which the receipt would give someone a code to use to validate they purchased something? Or at least went into the store.

As far as a store is concerned, it is 5 STAR no doubt. Great selections. Pretty expensive (sadly) but you just can't find this selection ANYWHERE else. Too bad.

Someone told me that Foxtail had "awful" iced coffee. I replied, come on...how can they mess that up? Decided to try it today. Strangest latte I've ever tasted. Really bad. In case it was a fluke, I'll give it one more try.

Never take part in an online sale with this company. I ordered several items during a sale and because of their policy to only bill you once you recieve the items (fair enough) I recieved all of my items seperately and full priced. After the first piece came in I was assured by email that a note had been left aside for the rest of my order which did not end up being the case when I recieved another piece three weeks later and then the final one another two weeks later. In total I ended up paying 30 dollars more than what was shown on my order form and they have neglected to respond to any of my emails since that initial correspondence. I certainly intend to visit the store and get my money back and then stick to Amazon Prime for the remainder of my college career. At least when they make a mistake, I can actually contact customer service.

This place is such a scam. They hike up the prices of books and clothing items by astronomical rates. I've had items placed on back-order only to have to contact them myself and then be told that they needed approval to charge me MORE than the listed price online. Recently, they listed one of my required books with either the incorrect title or incorrect ISBN (probably to prevent people from buying the books elsewhere for a cheaper price). I will NEVER shop here again unless absolutely necessary.

Such a horrible experience. Cashier's are horrible and have bad communication skills. My boyfriend went in to price match his books to Amazon for $150 instead of $330 but the cashier's are so stingy about price matching that he had to pay full price of $330. Price matching shouldn't be a problem at all. I go to USF and have price matched numerous times for books without a problem. Just save your time and money and get your books from Amazon

This is truly the most inadequate establishment at UCF. First of all, getting textbooks is a time sensitive thing. If the bookstore has a book on backorder it needs to tell you on the website BEFORE purchase rather than risking that kind of email going to someone's spam email and having a student be completely unaware of the delays they would get in studying material and completing assignments. In addition, the customer service is absolutely useless. No one picks up the phone any day at any time of the day nor does anyone respond to emails. I understand there can be a high volume of calls but putting someone on hold is also an option rather than never picking up the phones at all. Since no one picked up calls or answered emails, I had to drive out there (and it's a long drive for me, UCF cannot just assume that everyone lives right next to campus when they disregard other means of contact). There were literally three people at desks with phones and no one was on the phone. So my tuition money is simply going towards people sitting at desks and not doing a key feature of their jobs. Even though I had my book set to deliver to my house, I either needed a refund so I can buy the book elsewhere if it was on backorder or the actual book. They gave me the book and I didn't realize until I got home that the price of the book was updated from $64 to $148 because they only had a new rental instead of a used one. How about updating inventory accurately in a timely manner instead of making a student jump through hoops to receive an incorrect item they're going to get charged more than double the amount they signed up for? So not only did I have to wait almost three weeks for a textbook (which also sets me three weeks behind in class because the textbook is required), I have to drive to UCF a second time to return that book and buy it elsewhere where I can just get a digital copy for $84 and not have the run around from an establishment designed to help students but is just littered with incompetence. UCF cannot just assume a student is made of money and charge them an extra $84 when they feel like it. It is already rough enough for students who suffered job/pay cuts with COVID; we do not need the University charging us more than we were told. Have a site that tells students what to actually expect (regarding both pricing and how soon the order can be fulfilled) and staff that actually does their jobs and picks up the phones and responds to emails because the way this is currently operating is toying with students' time, money, grades, and effort.

The UCF Foxtail location has the same great quality if product and service you'd expect from the main, Winter Park location, but at least at time of opening, the prices are notably higher.
Also, IMO, best cold brew in Orlando.
Worth the premium.

didn't use an access code for class, had receipt, booklet was still sealed, wouldn't take it back because it was past due date so i tried to buy it back, would only get $5 for a $75. NO THANKS. Stupid policies, and it's a shame, I really like the friendly cashiers and the cafe.

This review is for Foxtail in the bookstore. Ridiculous. I waited nearly 15 minutes for my coffee. I ordered a flavored cold brew. After a minute or two I heard mention of the flavor so I figured they just needed to grab more, no biggie. Waited about 5 more minutes, 5 more orders went through. No one in the previous conversation started a cold brew. Another gracious 8 minutes go by and I finally bring it up. The guy apologizes, and makes it in under 45 seconds. I paid $6 to wait for 15 minutes...

This is the worst coffee I ve ever had in my entire life. The French press was so bad I went home sick.

I hate it.

*Edit* Einstein Bros. was closed so I decided to give Foxtail another chance. I still hate it!! The coffee refills cost about sixty cents more than Einstein, for WORSE coffee. It was sour, watery and there were dark brown bits floating in it, probably from the coffee maker not being cleaned enough. I didn t even finish drinking it. Disgusting.

I m never going to purchase from this bookstore again. I took a month long class and accidentally purchased an extra access code. Well they only give you one week to return which certainly is not enough time. Access codes and text books are not cheap. It is already expensive enough to go to school. Next time I will purchase from elsewhere. I m disappointed in this book store. Over priced and rude

They charged me the price of a new book that had stickers clearly indicating it had been used. I asked the cashier to charge me for a used book, she said it was in "like-new condition" and charged me full price. The conversation was like Bernie Mac's scene in Transformers.

Everything is extremely overpriced. I recommend trying to find used books online whenever possible. If you are desperate for UCF gear, this is the place to find it, however be prepared pay premium prices for it.

It's a nice atmosphere and the food isn't bad but I'm thoroughly convinced they don't know how to make coffee. So first everytime I've gone the coffee just tastes off, the best way I can explain it is with their cold brews. I have ordered 2 cold brews before and each time they were watered down (which isn't unheard of as cold brews can be pretty can be pretty concentrated) but they almost tasted like it had no coffee at all, rather, they made a tea out of the cascara fruit and missed the coffee bean all together. Then it's like the staff doesn't know what their own menu items mean: once ordered a doppio espresso with a dash of bitters in it. The barista then proceeded to made a single espresso (when a doppio litterall means double) with more orange bitters than I'd put in an old fashion, resulting in a salty, overly bitter, single shot of not great espresso.

I could go on but at the end of the day this place isn't worth the time or money. Want to go to a cool place with reay good coffee, a chill atmosphere, and friendly staff that knows what they're doing? Go to Pops Parlour by Jimmy John's and Tower III, best Coffee and popcicles on campus (dare I say around campus too).

Don't by books here. They are more expensive and will be on backorder for weeks after classes start. Once they charge you for backordered books they wont let you return them saying that you have to return them in the first week of class even though they didn't have them until 2 weeks after class started!

Terrible place to buy books. My girlfriend rented a book from them and the professor told them a week after school started that the textbook was not necessary for the class. She went in to try to return it but they said it was too late. You think that the campus bookstore would accept it back, thinking that they care for the students but it seems like they do not care about the students at all and are just there to rip off students. The manager did not care at all either and was very rude about how they handled it. Definitely buying all of our textbooks online from Amazon now... plus they're cheaper.

I think this new Fox Tail on campus offers a nice working/studying area for faculty and students. I wished they had also couches to read books. The other issue is that now the customers are not able to grab a book from the bookstore and read a little bit here before purchasing. Other than that, I think there is better environment and coffee here.

The book store scammed me, went against their own rental policy, and then was extremely disrespectful when I asked for an explanation. When I respectfully spoke to a manager, instead of apologizing for her employees mistake or fixing the issue she belittled me. It is a sad case when a school bookstore is scamming their own students.

Decided to try this place out for the first time and ordered their iced latte made with almond milk. I was not disappointed! As soon as I walked in, I was immediately pleased and impressed by the chill, hip, and trendy atmosphere & vibe this place had. Absolutely loved it! They have a lot of neat merchandise as well! The employees and baristas there were also SO friendly and a pleasure to talk to :) The customer service was impeccable. Had my drink within 5 minutes despite there also being several other people in line. I can tell the management here are doing things the right way. Also, they have a pretty good selection for pastries and other food & drink items a typical coffee shop would have. Out of all of the places you can go for coffee on campus, I think this place is the best. They have my business as a returning and loyal customer. This place makes me want to become even more of a coffee lover than I already am... Lol. I am definitely coming back here when I feel like going to grab a coffee on campus.
