Uccello Restaurant Review

This was my first time to this restaurant. Everything was so good. They had a really good selection of food and drinks. Our plates came out full and and looking great.

Me and my wife sat waiting with our 4 year old niece from 6:50 pm to 7:50pm and still waiting . Ordered our food at 6:55 going on 8:00 pm no server . Tables were filthy as well as the floor. Watched several people get there food before us eat and leave . Wanted a salad never got that . Terrible service . Very loud and noisy. Will not be going back. Redicuius.

Good pizza and drinks. It has a huge selection of tvs with different sports on them.

It was a great stop after getting some clothes at Duluth.

It's your classic sports bar with a lot TVs and such. The service and staff were friendly and attentive. I had a wet burrito. It looked awesome and is a full meal. It was pretty good, but it seemed that there was chili powder in there. I didn't expect chili powder in a burrito. That being said, I ate it and was satisfied.

Grilled Seafood pizza was delicious! Atmosphere was good and the restraunt was very clean.

20+ rotating taps, very nice full-round bar, and food is excellent. Will play big sports games on multiple TVs and broadcast through house sound. Clean and comfortable decor. Wait can be long.

Go here at 1 am and you will hear the song bootyman and all the staff will dance and sing it...great atmosphere and they always make sure everything is right if something comes up. Well went here yesterday though and got the worst service ever!! This place lately has been getting worse and worse with service as each day goes by. There were about 6 other couples in the restaurant because of the weather outside and it took our waitress 10 minutes to come and grab our beer order, then we decided to order just an app because it was 3 in the afternoon and was that odd time between lunch and dinner so we did not want a full meal. She said really that's it? Then brought us out our beer after 5 minutes of me seeing our drink order sitting at the bar waiting to be picked up by her and then she brought out our apps and then never came back to see how it was and we waited 15 minutes after finishing our app for her to come back for our bill. Go to a different Uccellos unless you like being disappointed in every aspect of service.

Always good. Margaritas on point today. Nice to have great food and service so close to home.

Uccellos is always one of my favorites . Great mix of food, punch buffets and great bar! The pizza super good, too - though I prefer to order than eat off the buffet.

Very friendly and helpful staff. No shortage of TV s big or small in the sports bar section. Loud environment on the sports side, can t speak to the dining room side. Food was absolutely delicious, many choices from pastas to sandwiches and pizzas. Entrees in the $15-$20 range, portions are large and shareable. No deep-fried mediocrity here where everything tastes like the fryer. This is a very good option for Italian themed food in the Grandville mall area. Worth a try.

The lunch buffet is fast and easy lunch on a short break

Very disappointing. I ordered the Italian flatbread sandwich with the U fries. Service was very slow, and the sandwich and fries were too salty and sitting in a pool of grease. I won't return.

They offer a nice lunch buffet with so many options it is hard to go wrong.

If you go there in a large group of people, your food will be under cooked and your French fries will be stone cold. The quality of the food has been greatly decreased even with smaller groups.

Every time I visit this restaurant I just have to get the pizza puffs they come with two different dipping sauces and are mouthwateringly good. Another of my favorite dishes is the create your own stromboli. This visit I also tried their mango white sangria which was so delicious that i just had to have another. Thanks goes out to our server Jocelyn who was very nice and delivered excellent service!

Good decent priced food esp during happy hour. Service was a little slow

Waitstaff was excellent! Food seemed too salty to me. The bread was not the usual bread cut from a loaf. The iced tea was good. Two rolls were provided in place of Italian bread. I will return and try a salad with grilled chicken on my next visit.

The service is generally not great, and they just don't care. They just can't get our order right, even after 4 tries. About a year ago I picked up pizza and pizza puffs to go. When I arrived at the quoted time, the pizza was ready and they said the puffs should be out any minute... Well, it took 20 more minutes for the puffs, and the pizza got cold. I didn't complain, but they gave me a card for a free app or dessert next visit, which was nice. In the.past year we dined in twice, told them about the coupon when ordering, and ordered an app and our dinner..both times the food took a long time, and the app never came, just our dinners. Both times we told the server no big deal and we'll just save it for next time. Finally tonight we tried again. We ordered takeout (a large order) for my birthday, my dad picked it up, gave them the coupon, and started checking bags to make sure it was all there, but they assured him it was, so he left. He left a tip, brought home the order. We ordered the margarita dip, and they included the sauce, but not the pita. It wasn't worth going back out, so we ate dinner and I called after. I explained twice what happened, was transferred twice, then after 5 more minutes a recording picked up. I hung up and called back, explained that I had been on hold for a missing item, was transferred again, explained again what was wrong with my order, the guy told me he was the one who packed the order and "could have sworn it was in there" I said it wasnt, then he said having trouble finding the order. He said "hang on" i wss transferred again, this time someone named Cliff picked up and said "thanks for calling Uccelos, how can I help you" at this time I decides it wasn't worth my time and hung up. They took my number when I placed the order, if any of the 4 people I talked to cared they could reach out and they didn't. I give up. The food is pretty good but the service is terrible. And honestly, I can get precooked pasta smothered in cheese anywhere. We won't be back. Good luck. Only great, well run, restaurants are going to survive coronavirus, I don't think they will be one of the ones that makes it, and maybe that's for the best.

Best bar/restaurant combo in Grandville. The only issue is it's tiny parking lot.

I love the food at Uccellos. Our waitress was good. But I felt that our dining area was not very clean. The bathrooms were also dirty. This left me with the, next time lets order it to go feeling and left me disappointed overall.

The food is good. For a sports restaurant it's nice. Love the bathroom stall doors, how high the toilet paper depended is. Their baby changing is a lil to high for my comfort. The service was on top of things.

One of my favorite restaurants that has the best pasta. Very cozy and warm where you can watch your favorite sport team and have a drink or two. If still hungry have good desserts as well. Can stay warm by the fire place.

We had the Fiesta Chicken Wrap. It was DELICIOUS!! I'm sure we will go back again. The greeter & server were gracious. The facility is clean & organized.

Weird atmosphere with covid. Host was not friendly, waitress was absent, food was good.

Wow! Our server Danielle here was really great! Really friendly and great recommendation with the Chicken scallopine and salmon. They were awesome!!! Didn't know there was a Ucello's out this way. Was running my mom for a few errands near mall and stopped by for quick cocktail and early dinner. Very nice setting at this location. Fantastic service. Very fast and friendly definitely give it a go after shopping. Go for the mushroom crostini for sure, i get them no matter which ucellos im at!

Well the waitress was decent but I don't know what bar tender can't make a simple drink such as a whiskey sour correctly but I do know it's not that dam hard I will not be coming back to this location again

We had the worst experience going here. In fact, every time we give this place a chance (at least 3 times now in different locations) we just happen to have a terrible experience every time.

The food is okay. Nothing extravagant, typical bar food. However the servers are just untrained and lack common sense. Our waitress made a comment about not serving us breadsticks that was part of the meal because she thought it was too many carbs for our overall meal..... really? How is that even okay.

I love the food and the staff, but there is usually a wait.

An awesome place to watch your favorite teams, or get a late night pizza and a cheap drink. Staff is great, and its not usually too busy to sit at the bar.

I'm a big fan of the mussels here. Sat outside and service was great. Recommended location.

Can't beat there Friday Lunch buffet ....Prime Rib , Ham, and all the other goodies on bar. Crisp salad and fresh veggies.

Pretty good experience each time I visit. Today would be the first time my wife and I didnt like one of the dishes. Our server took it off the bill and brought us something different in a timely matter.

Seated immediately upon arriving. Waited 10 min to be acknowledged. Manager went past 3 times and never even asked if we were being helped. Two servers standing at the wait station watched us as they chit chatted. Finally our server Trey arrived. He apologized for our wait. He was swamped, had just about every table in the room to wait on. Took our order, served our drinks, prompt with refills. Ordered the Buffalo Chicken Salad took 40 min to get to us and could not believe the portion. One chicken strip cut into 5 pieces and about a cup and a half of lettuce for over $11.00. The only thing good about the trip was Trey, our server. Shame on the staff for not being "team oriented" and the manager who never lifted a finger to acknowledge a customer, clear a plate or cup let alone look you in the eye. Boooooo I'd fire her.

It's a great establishment with awesome staff and awesome food

Great food at a reasonable price. Service was excellent and our food came out quickly. Definitely a great place to give a try if you enjoy trying Italian style dishes.

Went tonight and I got a steak, hubby got asandwich, and son got mac and cheese. My steak was horrible for the 20 dollar price tag. My husband liked his sandwich and my sons 5 dollar Kraft mac and cheese was cold. Service was slow. Bread came after the meal.

Always a nice visit at Uchello's. Stopped in for the lunch buffet, and was not disappointed. Ended at 2pm, got there at about 1 and still plenty of food out when we left. Wish I would have just got the kid a pizza since all he ate was 2 bread sticks and a slice of pizza.

This place was supposed to have Italian food, but to my surprise ravioli was not on the menu. Thank my lucky stars they had a good wet burrito. And Founders Mosaic Promise.
