This was the best idea. It was not to crowded the staff were great. This is good PHYSICAL fun. If you are not in shape or like extreme activities this is not for you. Lots of thinfs to do. I reccomend a 2 day pass to be able to really enjoy everything. Every activity hasa 10 to 15 min orientation before you try it. They are trying and doing a good job of keeping things sanitized. Everything is outside so plenty of breathing room. Will be returning again soon.

Love... the white water center. The staff is always friendly, and it is just a great place to spend the day. There is something for everyone in the family of all ages. I am a big fan of the bike trails, which if you dont have a bike or helmet you can rent.

I have been here twice in the past 3 years and the first time i went was horrible! my family of 5 went on the white water rafting and there was a family of 3 on the raft with us. so a total of 9 (including instructor) at first the ride was exciting but not scary and i really enjoyed it. Then the instructor asked if we wanted to go on a category 5 ride (which is the most difficult). my family and i opted out of his question but the family of 3 said they wanted to go. so without warning the instructor took us all on the category 5. what do you know the raft tips over and 6 of us fall out. I myself was trapped under the raft and was panicking. my grandpa (75 years old) fell out as well and i was worried if he hurt himself. A lifeguard threw a rope to me and i was able to get out. My grandpa injured his nose, but everyone else was ok. After that i never went white water rafting again.

River Jams Rock! Seriously, you can get lost in the crowd listening to the music right by the water and rafting or you can find a more intimate spot with more space and still find yourself dancing. Awesome space for anyone!

Love this place! Bring your dog and a blanket and grab a craft beer while you watch whitewater rafting. You can zip line, kayak, paddle board, home, mountain bike, or just people watch. Always a great time!

I've been to the WWC quite a few times to enjoy a beer and sit on the lawn or go for a quick hike. However, I just wanted to give out a fair warning to anyone who books tickets for Zip Line and Dine. My Grandmother past away the day before I was supposed to use the tickets I had paid for almost a month in advance. I tried to get a refund or reschedule and no one would work with me or even let me speak to a supervisor. I've sent several letters trying to get in touch with someone over the past 6 months and even offered to show the death certificate but to no avail. Although I want to believe it was an oversight, I would advise people to err on the safe side and don't buy tickets to anything until just before the event or the day of. Either way a loss in the family is often unpreventable and dealing with other details can be a hassle and make the period even more of a stressful one.

The whitewater center is beautiful. The staff working the zip lines and free falls are amazing. I was really impressed with genuinely very nice and caring staff.

I had the smoked chicken burrito to eat at the little cafe and it was incredibly delicious.

A very fun place that I'll happily visit again! That said, be aware that the lockers are gendered and cost $2 to use them once (one shut and one opening), so if you need to get into your belongings at all, it might be better to get a storage bin...

I always have a great time! There is so much to do for all ages. From a picnic to Hiking. Kayaking to paddle boarding to white water rafting. They have two different types of rock climbing. Restaurant, apparel, gear, bike shops and more.
It's really everything rolled up into awesomeness. During the summer they have music and fun festivities. Love! Love! Love!

One of the coolest places I've been. Rafting is a blast, guides make it fun for all. You can partake or just sit and take it in. If you live in the area I suggest getting a yearly pass so you can enjoy everything all year. There is a lot to do!

Amazing variety of outdoorsy things to do and the staff is really laid back and kind! I'd recommend the day pass ($60) rather than the one activity pass, as it is rather expensive ($25 for an hour and a half bike rental or for a 30 min high ropes course). If you do want to upgrade your 1-activity pass, they will let you just pay the remaining $35 to upgrade it. Just splurge and make it an all day event. Parking is $6. You may bring your own bike and use the trails as you please. The bike rentals we got (the standard fixed gear) we're surprisingly not bad; they were lightweight with good shocks. I wouldn't take them on an advanced course, though. As far as I know, there weren't any restaurants, but some places like the biking shop carry snacks. You're allowed to bring in food for a picnic and there is a picnic shelter.

All I can say is awesome. Outdoor activities which kept me onsite for 9 hours. Rafting was great, the Zipline was great. I did the one zipline that required to to walkthrough a rope course to get to the next zipline.

Also went kayaking which was amazing.

Afterward had a few beers and listened to the band.

I am an annual pass member and never get tired of going to the Whitewater center. During the spring, summer and fall I love the rafting, zip lines and hiking. I love how they added ice skating this winter...fun areas to hang out and eat/drink near the stoves they built out of kegs or fire pits if you just want to watch. Highly recommend year around! Tonight we went and toured the temporary Lights exhibit and it was spectacular...the trails after dark were breathtaking.

We traveled 100 miles to go white water rafting at this center. We called and confirmed via telephone ahead of time to make sure spots were available and were told yes. Once we arrived we checked in and reserved two adult spots for white water rafting at 4:00pm. Once it was 4:00pm we met at the assigned meeting spot for training and check in. The trainer called attendance for all the people on his reservation list and didn t call our names. He referrered us to guest relationships who didn t have any availability. We were unable to utilize our day passes previously confirmed for white water rafting. The person who took our money was a completely incompetent girl who seemed more concerned about our locker than making sure that our names were placed on the list. Our day was ruined and we were not provided with any apologies. Also the trainers and park staff need to learn about their facilities and how to guide new customers. Some of the park staff we encountered were completely useless. We will be calling our credit card company to dispute the charges.

A nice playground. In winter you can ice skate or walk in the woods and admire the artist's lights. In summer you can have fun with a kayak, climbing and other activities. Well cherished.

The best one stop shop for outdoor adventure fun in Charlotte. Fantastic facilities and excellent staff. Can't go wrong with all the beer stations that are well stocked with local and micro brew beers. Ended up getting the year pass this was such a good time!
