I'm a USA citizen ...they refused to see me or speak about my status of my Visa here in Warsaw Poland or about my Shengren Visa....when I asked for their name so I could make a complaint they refused even their name.....utterly useless....just amazing a U.S. citizen can be treated by their own country this way....they should be shut down....
More my leg will not come there, how can I get a visa with my family and the result came out that my dad got a visa and I did not !!!! Since we had to go together, it makes sense to give one person a visa and the other not !!!! From the trip, we can only lick the grief postage stamp

I replied that no one replies to the email and that's why I called. And nothing. Zero any reliable retort. There is no phone contact regarding the visa at all! A very rude woman at headquarters, no personal culture at all. It is very difficult to get through, and once a person gets through there is no chance to talk, they demand to send an email. And how does someone have an urgent matter? Waiting for a visa for two years, I'm married to an American, 8 years old, we have a 5-year-old child. Earlier we lived in DE and my husband worked there, then he got a better job in the USA and it was supposed to take up to a year to get a visa. For two years my daughter has been brought up without a father, not by my choice and no one can help us ... it's a scandal

On the other hand, the time spent waiting in a crowded and stuffy room is undoubtedly one of the least pleasant experiences of the quarter. It was also lame to be forced to separate from the person who invites me to the US, who had to wait in the waiting room upstairs and could not attend the proceedings if necessary.

But to the point - the consulate itself OK - I didn't wait long, the whole visit, including waiting and talking to the clerk, took me half an hour. Everything went smoothly and quickly, the consulate clerk was polite, although he did not speak Polish well, but fortunately we spoke Polish-English. The service is also professional and pleasant, well organized.
I think that since we are such a great ally of the US, we should not have visas for a long time :-(

Yesterday I was at the Consulate in Krakow, I was very surprised by the huge queue, I thought that in the era of open European borders, the times of sticking out at the embassy were long gone. I applied for a visa for the first time in my life and I guarantee the last one, I was sure that it was just a formality, what was my surprise when I found out that I am not able to show enough relationships to refute the presumption of intended immigration ..... what? ???? what does it mean ???? what immigration, I just wanted to go on vacation ...
this is a failure, I don't smile, black, thousands of kilometers from Poland, the more so because I don't know English for a bad price, dear CONSUL, of course I don't have to go to your country for holidays, luckily I can make money to spend somewhere else on holidays, America seemed to me quite an "exotic" country, a dream of Poles in the years of my childhood .... but not now.

While attending a conference in Lublin, I lost my passport. When I realized it was missing, I was on my way to Warsaw to catch my flight back to the US (where I live). I had less than 24 hours to try to find my passport or get a new one. The people at the embassy were spectacularly helpful and supportive. I arrived at the embassy at about 3:30 on a Monday afternoon. By 8:30 a.m. the next morning, I had a limited validity passport in hand, which allowed me to catch my flight as scheduled.
In 2002 I was supposed to go to the USA for two months in science. Of course, a visa is needed. First a fee (this is the Institute), but then a personal stand at a temperature of about 0oC, in the courtyard of the Embassy, in a crowd of people like me in need. I quit after three hours. I never went to the USA and I won't go. How different it looked a few years later waiting for a Canadian visa: inside the Embassy, sitting in the waiting room, I got the visa within an hour. I may skip indiscreet questions in the survey, but you can see the American specificity ...

I have slightly mixed feelings about this embassy - I got a visa here. It's hard to say that the people working there would be nice, and all else was very formal, not stressing me at all. However, the Polish security guards working at the entrance are some failure, very unpleasant, surly. Completely unhelpful, working as punishment.

Television TVN is left wing media broadcaster pro communist propaganda machine. You are in breach of Vienna convention in this matter.
