Comedy Night at The Tybee Pist Theater was fun for all. Colin Moulton was the host and head comic. Main attraction was Nicholas Anthony - hysterical. Also Rabi Haas, again funny, funny, funny. It was a great night and it was to benefit the non profit organization - AFA. Best part was the podcast at the end of the evening. Next one is June 23rd. Be there!
Been to a couple of concerts & a film--very intimate & not a bad seat in the house!!
Very nice little theater. They show current movies. Not attended a play. Too bad they didn't loop the theater when they renovated. Not helpful for HOH public.
Every show I have been to here has been so much fun. No complaints. Only positive experiences. :)
Had a good time listening to good southern rock music
What a cool little place! I had the pleasure of seeing the amazing guitarist Eric Culberson back in November and was blown away. But this is not a review of Eric (I seriously don't know why he's not headlining football stadiums) it's about the theater. Cozy, but not too small, clean, good acoustics, and just about the friendliest staff you could ask for!
Great place to see a show. Good prices on beer and wine
Great restored movie house for films and live events.
Cozy attractive theater. Stairs going into the theater need to be lit up better to as avoid tripping.
Saw wonderful show, the great American Trailer park musical. Go see it. The post theatre is clean, comfortable and a great place to go for entertainment.
Trailer Park the Musical is a great show. Very entertaining!
Family fued was amusing local fun,,,put it on the bucket
Seen many excellent concerts here, Melissa does s very nice job bring in fun bands.
We saw Shirley Valentine. Wonderful renovated theater, great show!!
Wow
Love this community location
Miss it among all this corona stuff
Tybee Theater employees are so kind and helpful. They welcome our group every year!
Rustic decor in old military theater. They try to keep a variety in the schedule with new movies, talks and music or plays. No need to go off the island for a night on the town!
Really liking the atmosphere here. Will definitely return for future events.
Another great choice but wish they would get some Riesling.
I love the theatre for movies but Drivin'n'Cryin was the first rock show I've seen there and WOW what a show! Very intimate and cool, sound was good and of course the band delivered. This is a great music venue - hope to see many more shows there in the future!
Paul Thorn Band and the Part-Time Blues band were awesome!!
Paul Thorn put on the best show I've ever seen at the Post Theatre. Well done!!! What a night!!!
Big Fun at Tom Coleman's final performance of The Great American Trailer Park!
This was our first time at Tybee Post Theater. We went to an Alan Gross comedy show and had a great time. He was very entertaining and kept it PG, so it was family friendly. I had the tickets on my phone, no problem getting in. The theater was clean, and the bathrooms were maintained. They offered concessions, including a small alcohol selection. The tickets were very reasonable at $25 for assigned seats in the second row. Parking was not a problem getting in or out, and we didn't have to pay to park even though there was no parking lot. We had a positive experience, and will definitely be going back.
Great venue for Randall Bramlett sounds. Came from Charleston for the show. Thanks for everything.
Love the theater! Amazingly good volunteer help there! And I was tickled pink to get to see the movie that was showing.
Always the best venue for Randall Bramblett. All shows worth the visit and such reasonable prices.
Saw Andy Gross here and he was super funny. Joker 2019 plays there soon as well so I'll be going there if possible as well. Very fun.
Very cool historic military theater. Well worth visiting.
Fun place. Collin and Mike were hysterical. Nice venue!
Small but full of character, always a variety of things to see
They did an amazing job renovating this theater. So much history that is now saved.
So awesome to have the Gray's Reef film festival here each year and through out the summer. This is a wonderful collaboration that provides visual education to all the community and tourists.
The residents and visitors to Tybee are always so much fun! The Tybee Post Theater is an excellent venue for entertaining while engaging the audience! Volunteers at the Tybee post are outstanding in hospitality and service! I really love this place!
Visiting Tybee and ran across this theater group. We saw "Senior moments", a funny entertaining talented group of more mature dancers, and singers. The youngster of the group at 52 did his act between sets during costume changes... singer, dancer and comedian... thoroughly enjoyed our evening!
Cutest little theater with a big sound. Holds maybe 200.
This is a perfectly restored old theater that have a new sound system, comfortable vintage seats and good views from every seat. In addition there is very nice staff, clean restrooms and a snack bar that includes beer or wine as well as soft drinks and water.
Such a cool historic place!!! We love going to the Post. They have a little bit of everything. From plays to live music to wine tasting events to movies!!!
Great, old atmosphere, good, cheap popcorn. Definitely worth going for the Fourth Of July Weekend event when when they play Jaws.
Nice place to see a show.
Friendly staff.
Fabulous small theater with great programming. Perfectly Adult!
Beautiful architecture. Nice theater. Friendly staff.
this venue is so cool. They have redone the entire place and it looks fantastic.
Wonderful venue, friendly folks. Thanks to everyone that made this possible!
We saw the Grateful Dead Experience by the Charlie Fog band last weekend. The venue is intimate, clean, and the beer is cheap. It wasn't too loud either despite how small the theater is. Make sure to buy your tickets in advance though as they were sold out that night.
This theatre is an absolute gem! Within walking distance. I feel fortunate!
Would love to see Devon Allman, Duane Betts, and Berry Oakley Jr in this place!!!!
Great theater! We happened to be in town when they were showing an Oscar-nominated movie
Wonderful addition to the community. Check out their schedule, find an event they are putting on and experience it yourself. I have gone to a wine tasting as well as a concert and both times I was very pleased with the experience. The old theater was well preserved and gives a great venue for various events. I hope to catch one of their movie showings soon as well.
Wonderful historic place, great entertainment lineup
Ok at first glance I thought this was a small place, but I was greeted by smiling faces and a great environment. I saw Golden Girls Gone Wild and it was so fun! I would go again. Try to come early so you can get parking.
