RJ Lock and Security OES Review

I went here for a replacement key for my Dodge Nitro. It was $100 cheaper than the dealer and works great!

The most kindest people I meet while stationed Maryland... my daughter broke a key in the doorknob... R.J. took the key out in seconds. Nice and down to earth staff. Sending a postcard once I arrive at my new duty station... Thank you so much!!!!!!!

Called to get a key extraction for my car. Was all interested in the type of car and where it was stuck till they asked where it was located. So because of where I live they re not interested in my business. Wow.

They called us a few days before our move, asked if we wanted a smaller truck. My boyfriend told them no, we wanted the 16ft, we had reserved it for a reason. We only wanted to make one trip. The day of our move they didn't have our truck! Offered a smaller one with free milage. We went with another company.

They burned up my electrical system in my core are trying to set keys

They had a blank for my old school VW Beetle. In and out in minutes. Can't beat that.

They are super rude. I recommend if you are a person of color or a foreign person do not enter this establishment!! Very very rude and racist! I recommend Walmart or any place else.

The staff were knowledgeable and helpful. Had a key made to order and I also picked up a few key tips I never knew.

This place is a rip off I will never recommend them. They rob people flat out. 95 dollar service charge for just coming out and looking at a lock and telling you they can't fix it, these people are a joke, I don't usually review companies but there customer service is garbage too thanks for nothing

Incredibly helpful and wonderful shop, with down to earth friendly employees. Any type of key you have and need they can cut it. Better the big box stores.
Bonus: They also rent tracks and Dolly's for moving.

I stop in with internal hardware from a door that is less than ten years old. The lady behind the counter looks at it and says she's going to send a picture to someone. I figure it was a field locksmith. Within a minute or two I get an immediate and dismissive we can't help you. No explanation why. The way I see it, RJ Lock and security has one job, LOCKS! They do cut the best keys in town though so that's why I'm giving them 2 stars.

Quick place to drop in and get a key made. They have plenty of large safes to choose from, especially gun safes!

The man was very rude. He told me that the reason he wanted $150 to cut a car key that I purchased on eBay was because he had a $10,000 machine to pay for. Sorry, but a very poor business decision does not justify gauging the customer and if they walk out and you do not use the machine at all you will never pay for it!

Quick and efficient. Cheaper than other quotes I got for the kind of keys I needed.

We were ready to put our house on the market. The realtor had just taken pictures, we had done lots of work to the house, etc. We just needed to give the realtor a front door key. Then we remembered our front door key had never worked! We used the garage door or the back door, but now we needed a front door key for the realtor s lock box.
I went to R J Lock and Security in Hagerstown, Maryland. I arrived just before closing time. He figured out my old and odd door lock and got my key to work and made some spares. The price was very reasonable, too.
My wife and I are grateful for R J Lock & Security. You will appreciate their expertise.

Made me a key for my obsolete 1959 Plymouth, it works perfectly!! I'll be back to get the other key made for it.

Went to get a car key cut. They said no promises, no refunds. Went home, it didn't work. Biggest waste of 20 dollars ever. I will never go back. Thank you for robbing me of my hard earned money.

Very friendly and outstanding duplicateing keys I had a key that was broke in half and they duplicated it perfectly for five bucks unbelievable

If I could give them a half a star I would they are scammers and thieves. I took a safe in to get a combination for it and they said it would be 50$ then they said they couldn't get the safe open and it would be 150$ to put a combination machine and said it would take 2 weeks for the thing to work so the next day I called them up and said I found the combination and that they didn't have to use the machine they told me that they already got it open and I could come and get it the worst part about it was the combination was the same for what I paid 50$ for. I don't recommend them to anyone.

I had a hard to find car key and the dealer wanted way too much to duplicate. R J Lock & Security was already closed for an hour but the lights were on inside so I stopped in.

The proprietor of RJ's welcomed me and quickly found the match (I had never seen so many keys on a wall). He made my key and personally checked the key himself.

The cost was more than reasonable (especially compared to the dealer). The whole transaction took less than 15 minutes.

I highly recommend RJ Lock & Security for quick and courteous service.

Had a Lazer cut key that was lost. RJ Lock was able to cut me two new keys at a much more reasonable price then the dealership and no hassle like the dealership gave me.
