Great range and everything to try. Highly Recommended!
Great range and everything to try. Highly Recommended!
It's a very small shop but full of teas!! I like their system which is pic up and mix many different tea bags. Price is also thoughtful. You can buy similer teas in the other supermarkets but more for gift and suvernior type of shop. If you like tea, good to have look!
Tea lovers paradise! Don't worry, they do coffee too. You can buy over 250 different types of tea, tasting each one before you make that all important purchase to ensure you have the right flavour for you. Also tea master classes can be booked here. Totally amazing.
Good variety and quality of products, a must-see for all tea lovers visiting London.
This place is heaven for tea lovers! They have a large selection of teas and the staff is super friendly and knowledgeable.
If you're a tea lover and likes to try different flavours, this is the place to go.
Handsome shop and very friendly staff! My favorite tea white tea & promegranate is unfortunately no longer available!
Little store where you can purchase a lot of different kind of tea, there is also a little museum and you can try a lot of tea.
Beautiful experience while writing I had a tea that I found in this business called sleep and it really relaxes me
Love this shop and the epsecially all the flavours of tea
Fabulous shop of tea with some much choice, history and style. Absolutely worth the visit.
Small but beautiful shop, perfect for lovers of the typical British drink. A fundamental step if you are nearby and you want to buy some sachets from one of the best English tea brands.
I am very disappointed with the mint green tea from the Tassimo machine because it has no listener and no taste
Very helpful staff. Beautiful inside. Also sells coffee.
The largest variety of Twinings tea you'll ever find. I am surprise Twinings, being a tea company from London, only has one store. Nevertheless, the store doesn't disappoint and offer a large variety of teas, coffee and utensils to be used in its preparation. You can also find tea boxes and fill them with tea bags, sold separately. In the back of the store, there is a small area for tastes and a mini museum, reflecting the company's story. Really worth visiting.
Excellent service in narrow shop with small museum display
Love love love! So many tea options the staff are great and if your stuck on what to buy they take their time with you and let you taste before you buy. They even have afternoon tea session which you can book in the summer!
Teashop with a history, good to buy tea for yourself or as a gift. I always find something to cherish myself here:)
A historic brand store, founded in the 18th century. The Chinese sculpture in the store is very strange.
Great place for lovers of Twinings tea and coffee, plus there is a tasting bar as we'll, so you can try before you buy!
Tiny shop, but crams a lot in. Only really worth visiting if you enjoy tea, but I'm sure that's most people.
I just love bringing my daughter here to look at and smell all the different types of tea. A great way to spend half an hour!
I love you, Twinings and since in Italy there are many types this for me was a must !! Obviously they don't have all the types as I expected but they have some a little more particular and more difficult to find and the prices are in the norm .. So with 23 pounds I am in place for about a year !!
The place is a small one and it is difficult to turn if crowded. More than a museum, it is a shop with an immense quantity of tastes, many I had not seen before. Excellent for finding a gift even if the prices are not low.
Obligatory place for those who are looking for delicious varieties of tea
First off, you have to LOVE tea, and second, if you love tea, THIS is the place to go. Twinings has a huge selection of domestic and international blends, with each selection having small jars to "sniff" from. I found it hard to contain my enthusiasm as well as my wallet since there was so much to choose from, but I still left a very happy customer. They have a tastings and history bar in the back of the shop, if that's your thing, but if you just want to pop in for a quick pick up of your favorite teas, this is the place to come to.
It's all about tea! Twinings has every type of common tea you could imagine. I'm partial to the English Breakfast in the big tins. Loose leaf of course.
I'd get your tea brewing supplies elsewhere but for a good cheap cup of tea, this place is great.
Perfect for tea lovers, the staff is super helpful especially when you are searching for a special tea or gift. You can also try most of the tea varieties for free. Store is small but very tidy.
Tea selection is good, but sellers (or rather one guy) are weird
Paradise for tea lovers :) Big variety of tea, you can buy excellent gifts and taste some tea while being here. Prices are not really big. You have to stop here when you are in London!
I came here as a student 25 years ago. I am so glad it is still here and still working so well.
It's ok mostly a tiny shop with some tea history on the shelves.
A great historical interest for this museum shop which offers a very large choice of tea and coffee! Welcome and advice at the highest level!
Great service. Impeccable shop and excellent quality products
Still my favorite place to get tea! They have so many choices for such good prices!
Original Twinings store on the Strand in London. Mostly a flagship style store for tourists visiting local attractions. Good selection but typically easier to buy specialist elsewhere to avoid browsers.
You have a problem, you want to take everything. There is everything and its history
Grumpy staff more interested in tourists with money than locals will never use this shop again.
Great selection of tea. Excellent service at the tea bar where you can sample lots of teas. Jools is amazing.
Good products.
Good attention.
Very good variety
It is not cheap.
If you're coming for some sort of museum experience, you're not going to get it. The store provides a brilliant selection of Twinings teas, including some produced for various international markets.
But my favourite bit is the tea tasting section at the back. It was manned by an extremely knowledgeable and friendly chap named Hans (apologies if if I've got that wrong) who was more than happy for people to select whichever teas they wanted to be steeped and let them try them to their hearts' content. For example, I'd never tried an oolong or a pu'er so Hans picked one of each, recommending that we end with the latter because of its aged nature and stronger taste.
The rest of the staff were equally enthusiastic about their jobs and great at what they did. I'd truly recommend a trip here.
It is a really nice store, but I was expecting a lot more!
Beautiful in rare types of shahin ... with the possibility of tasting ... dealing sophisticated ... professional work
HORRIBLE customer service!!!! Americans - stay away from Twinings. Bought 4 white mugs with gold on them and put them in the microwave (they almost blew up my microwave and all the gold turned black). There is NO label on the mug warning not to put in microwave. When I wrote to customer service "Louise" told me that there is a sign in the store so I should have known they were not microwaveable. Really? A sign....that's pathetic. Very disappointing. i would give negative stars if I could.
Why do we need a whole shop dedicated to Twinings? After the 5th orange infused darjeeling.. I knew this place was catering to conceptual instragrammed audiences rather than real tea aficionados.
The staff were very helpful at finding a specific tea I was searching for. Wonderful experience!
I can t enjoy a Sunday morning more than when I go to R. Twinings and Co Limited and have one of their delicious hot tea and a fresh, still warm chocolate croissant baked on place. It s fantastic! I advise all of you to give it a try.
An excellent tea shop for every taste of excellent quality !!!
I always thought that this brand being in all the supermarkets of here was like Torres wine here for making a comparison, not bad but it is "current" but it is not so, they are good teas and visit the store (the most Old London) next to Temple neighborhood of the former courts etc worth 100%!
Quaint tea shop with small exhibition at the back and free tea tasting. Friendly staff. Nice place.
I'm a absolutely tea-lover.
In this little store are many tea's and u can smell on it and try it.
There are tea in tea bags and loose tea.
They have also some coffee beans and biscuits in their shop.
This is a must see for tea-lovers.
The staff was really friendly
Beautiful, charming and fragrant! A historic place to buy and taste the classic English drink!
Great place to buy Twinnings tea because of variety of choice, however I managed to find some of them cheaper in local store or Tesco.
A quaint, historic tea shop which is worth a visit for the great service and variety of teas, although not organic so there are better alternatives.
Small but classy, with tea tastings at the end of the store. Very nice.
Obviously historical, do not expect more than a hallway full of tourists! I enjoyed my visit, but I was alone, super relaxed and with plenty of time. The place is ideal for smelling all the teas on the shelves but can get easily stressful due to the packed nature, it can feel quite claustrophobic
We've been there, we've done souvenir shopping. Professional tea house, sellers with knowledge.
The original Twinings shop, dating from 1706. A vast collection of tea varieties, and sampling is encouraged. Jane Austen bought tea here.
Small shop with a big history, and they kindly let you sample some teas in the back.
