Great hotel and the golf course is in fantastic condition. Been to a wedding here recently and it was exceptional. New layout to the golf set up is so good with the practice area and driving range close together along with the pro shop was a good move.

Great service, friendly helpful staff, lovely food. Nice place to stay near Blessington.

If you want to be woken at 3am by the sound of staff smashing bottles into a metal bottle-bank there really is nowhere better to stay.

Likewise if you want a 6.55am early call courtesy of a lorry with crane which is lifting said bottle bank upside down and emptying it, Tulfarris is world class.

if you should decide to take a walk behind the wedding reception area in Tulfarris (to see where those bottle banks are), do be prepared to decide to never return to the place.

If it is a risk you are prepared to take we recommend you taper your trousers inside your socks as you will find rats running around the garbage which is piled high.

On the plus side the hotel (and its bottle bank) is in a beautiful part of the world and could become a fine leisure resort one day.

Nice location, food is excellent as are the staff, windows in room were a bit noisy abd drafty but that's the only complaint.

We had a wedding there. On the Sunday after we took to the bar to watch the sports on TV. All Ireland hurling final Some had food and we all had drink and at 11.30 I had to ask a staff member to clear our tables. Of plates and glasses not one glass or plate had been removed since apparently 4 o clock. We asked for 3 cups of tea at 9. To be told at 10 the burko was switched off. The hand dryers in the toilets didn't work and the paper towel option was empty. The lady's had no tissue and when we asked a single roll was produced. I asked for the duty manager but he / she never showed. My anger and disappointment prevents me talking about the treatment of the bride and groom leaving the hotel Monday morning. Caution to anyone holding a wedding there take nothing for granted and you may have to do some house keeping for tgem

Beautiful resort/golf club nestled away in the countryside, we were there for a wedding , lovely venue for a civil ceremony with gorgeous courtyard and reception area ,we stayed for two nights at the hotel we stayed in room number 214 a stunning room complete with balcony, the room was spacious the bathroom was a thing of dreams with an amazing shower the decor was beautiful I would love our own bedroom at home to look like this it was so comfortable
The lime tree restaurant for breakfast I sat by the window which the sill beside me was covered in dead flies & live ones it spoilt the view and the breakfast experience , I got porridge which was okay with soya milk I am vegan inclined there wasn t much of a choice in that regard a few toppings available seeds nuts jam , there was plenty of choice other wise we didn t go to breakfast the second morning.
The food for vegan at wedding was good except for the main curry it was like something microwaved or aeroplane food the desert was delicious service was efficient and staff were very friendly
The staff were friendly throughout and helpful the resort The grounds are lovely lots of photo ops the lake area makes a nice evening stroll to watch the sun go down

Golf weekend. Hotel room lovely as was dinner in the evening

Highlight of our stay was dinner served in restaurant ( 5 star quality )and food served in the bar. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Lowlight on both mornings was the poor quality of breakfast provided. We spoke with a manager on the 1st morning but no improvement on 2nd. Grounds are beautiful but out of bounds for guests other than golfers. It wasn't a major issue for us as Wicklow way is only a few minutes away.

Beautiful venue for wedding..Beautiful location just outside Blessington..Lovely grounds and Hotel..and golf course is a nice challenge.

Nice place, rooms very clean and modern, very pretty surroundings but can be noisy near the club house but as expected. Food can be very slow.
We had the worst nights sleep with men shouting, playing golf along the corridor banging on doors at 12pm,2pm,3pm.
After talking to the manager we were moved to the wychazel room to say sorry. Lovely room perfect for any special occasion. Lovely views.

Great golf course and a very presented hotel with really good rooms

Beautiful hotel room, mostly friendly staff however we did not have a relaxing stay. The door of the room beside us slammed when it closed, very loud. Between people checking out and the cleaning staff afterward, a lie in was out of the question on the first morning.

A group of guys were staying there the following night. They were in and out throughout the night, 2-4 am, constant loud slamming of the door. You simply could not sleep. Then another bout around 6am, followed by more at 9:45am. The lads themselves once in the room were quiet enough and not causing a problem. An extremely poor design choice or laziness to address.

Just a very very bad feature in an otherwise lovely hotel. Put some kind of padding on the door frame or something maybe?

One of my favourite places...great food great golf course and stunning views..
If you get to play the golf course keep an eye open for the wildlife it will surprise you from dear to foxes and everything in between ..

Friendly service, spacious room with a nice view, very quiet neighborhood, secure parking, some of the service spoken in Polish, hotel bar

Room was exceptional and reception staff were very accommodating. The only negative part of the stay was a quite rude gentleman behind the bar.

Such a lovely place. All the staff are so helpful. Had a tranquil rest.

Stayed here last Friday night, great place, lovely staff, Heather is brilliant on reception she could not have been more helpful, Elk lounge is really cosy overlooking the golf course & the service is excellent by Dan & Sean & food is gorgeous, breakfast was delish in restaurant upstairs with even better views over the lakes, bedroom was lovely & really comfortable bed, great night's sleep, walked around the lovely grounds this morning, saw the manor house & wedding reception venue attached, stunning, definitely worth a look & can't wait to go back in June for family wedding, all in all great place, many thanks to all the staff we met there.

Absolutely stunning golf course almost fully surrounded by lakes, great test of your game, restaurant and bar food excellent. Seating area for bar food is more suited for relaxing than eating.....

Comfortable rooms. Friendly staff. Surprisingly good food in restaurant. Great value overall. My only gripe is the main hotel building is a bit humdrum (but it's a small gripe)

I can say this without pause, the staff at this hotel were more helpful and generous than any hotel experience I ve ever had. My traveling companion has sleep challenges and we requested a separate bed, extra pillows and means for cool air. Sounds a handful? The staff, the manager himself carried an extra bed to the 3rd floor, found us a fan, moved our rooms, and spoke to us in depth about our concerns, and far beyond to a personable pleasant exchange. I was very impressed by their efforts, the grounds and surrounding landscapes and scenery, and the rooms.

Much recommended. Great valu, attention to detail implacable. Staff brilliant!

Stayed for 2 nights, played golf, golf course is very good, hotel staff were excellent, very relaxing considering the circumstances with covid 19. I would highly recommend this place for relaxing and playing golf

Very good.. great food .. friendly and helpfull staff..though not a golfer I am reliably informed the Golf course is excellent.. Hotel is a little dated but comfortable and clean.. highly recommended.

A bit out of the way but beautiful setting and great golf course with very friendly and helpful staff throughout the Resort and lovely food to boot. Many interesting and beautidul places to visit in the county. Looking forward to coming back.

The golf course is challenging (at least for me as a novice), but very enjoyable. The views of the lake are magical. The hotel staff were friendly. The Covid 19 precautions were positive, with most staff (but not all :( ) wearing masks, regular hand sanitiser units and social distancing in food areas. The room was very clean and had every thing we needed. This is a hotel to which we would return.

It was absolutely beautiful. We attended a wedding there and the hotel and especially the surroundings were magnificent. Food was excellent. Lovely bedrooms and friendly staff. My husband ordered tge

The atmospheres was electric. The staff were friendly and very helpful. Unfortunately there is no cash machine and no money back offer other than that, the Tulfaris hotel and golf resort is excelent.

Very scenic area the golf resort was very nice, I attended a wedding no golf but the wedding venue was totally separate from the hotel. Ideal location

I wouldn't say it's a luxury hotel I've been to many others not stating its luxurious but I would say more than this one. Nice place.

Very under whlemed by the staff and lay out of the place. It was beautiful dont get me wrong and drive up there was fab but something lacking.

Was booked in at a wedding. Couldn't book into our room till 7.30pm when we did they "upgraded " us to the Manor house. There was a bad smell in the place and we could not get breakfast in bed AFTER being told we could by the receptionist. Breakfast was it ok. Disappointed!!!
