Beautiful setting, really pleasant courtyard for drinks outside, staff efficient and friendly, accomdation excellent and food superb, earlier check in times would be a help but to fair to reception they did let us check in 45 mins earlier than the four o clock norm

Didn't see the bedrooms but we were in a function room. Great facilities, beautiful location. Staff are friendly. Food is pretty good, worth stopping over or staying over in for sure. Coffee isn't great in the function room anyway. Nice outside seating area, no cover though.

Excellent food. We met for a cluster CPD discussion and we had comfort and beautiful surroundings in this hotel. Staff were professional and friendly. Breakfast was gorgeous looking over the golf course.
The restaurant was very busy but the food was great and the service was very good, we would definitely come again

A fantastic venue for a wedding.
The view from the ballroom over looking the lake was exceptional.
We had a very enjoyable Sunday evening here with friends. The bar was well stocked. The staff courteous and attentive. The views over the Golf Cource and Blessington Lake are amazing. A meal in the upstairs Restaurant was served promptly. We chose from a varied menu. Well done Chef and staff. I have no problem with a 5 star rating here. I note a lift is being installed from Lobby to Restaurant.

From arriving to be greeted by the lovely Sinead on Reception, who kindly upgraded our room (as it was my birthday) to the fabulous evening meal and service in the restaurant along with the lovely bar staff who, when a mistake had been made with a drinks and food order, sorted it out quickly and apologetically. Our room was spotless - felt like the first people to stay in it. Bed was really comfy and bedding 5* quality. The grounds and golf course are stunning and clearly extremely well taken care of. We had an amazing 2 night stay and I had a really lovely birthday. Looking forward to returning in the near future. Thank You Tulfarris :)

enjoyed a single night in hotel. Business trip and first time.

+clean - it was immaculate cannot say a bad word
+food - amazing breakfast was one of my best ever
-dinner - the only mark against will be the bar food was a bit expensive. Not mad by any means but cheeky.
I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone and everyone.
Hotel in general is nice, lovely grounds and lobby the reason I feel it only deserves a 2 star is the bedroom, breakfast and price.
The bedrooms are not worth half the money we paid, they are very basic and would compare to a 60-70 room. The shower is dangerous it s either boiling hot or freezing cold so be very careful if children are having a shower. Overall the bedrooms are a complete let down.
The breakfast is basic too, buffet style noting special again not worth the money.
You certainly don t get what you ve paid for here.
The grounds, public areas, lobby and bar areas are really nice.
If possible I would rate Tulfarris a lot more my 3rd time to stay and will be back again fab hotel food so good and the staff are 100% very helpful and friendly I will defo be back again thanks guys

Beautiful hotel. Bedrooms spotless with lots of space. Staff very friendly and efficent especially reception staff. Restaurant food is gorgeous but very slow service to the point we were going to leave dessert as it took so long for someone to come back to us. Well worth a visit

Absolutely loved my stay here at Tulfarris! We stayed for 3 nights, with breakfast included each morning which was amazing too. First night we ate at the restaurant, second night the bar and the third night, back to the restaurant. The food is incredible . Staff at the hotel are so lovely and really take care of you!

I attended a wedding in the hotel food and service at the wedding was excellent the breakfast was ok we ordered room service at 9 20 Sat night and was told room service was finished yet they have in there hotel book room service 24 hrs we had some children with us and were hungry I asked 4 crisps from the bar I was told they have a vending machine which was out of order

The room was very clean.
It's set beside a golf course and beautiful planting on the other side so the view is really lovely.
Breakfast is of course different during covid so no buffet. Table service was fine. I opted for poached egg and salmon on toasted sourdough. The bread was neither toasted nor sourdough. My coffee was just OK but my husbands tea like tar. Though the waitress very lovely and offering to bring more items that would be on a buffet.
The second night saw the collasping of the camp bed for my son several times through the night. I tried the mattress on it myself and able. so felt the second night the room and bedding damp.
Breakfast the second day was busier and the staff very rushed. No milk for the tea with out asking. This time very very weak tea. This waitress did the minimum Saying that they are working under hard conditions during covid.
We didn't golf or us the bar during our stay. Only on checking out did I notice we had complimentary vouchers for the bar. Perhaps that should have been mentioned at check in.
Rang to inquire about having a wedding for a certain amount of people they booked me in for a viewing tomorrow at 1. I was still waiting to hear back from them about the numbers as i didn't want to go to a venue if they don't have smaller weddings. 4 days later still hear nothing so i rang at 10 this morning to be told someone will call me soon at 3 i had to ring again to be told the wedding person will be in touch, and i have still heard nothing. Keeping in mind i rang on the tuesday and there was a lady on the phone that had no time for me whatsoever. It is supposed to be an exciting time when planning and organising your wedding. If its that hard to hear from them now could you imagine booking your wedding and not even hearing back. I found them very unprofessional
I spent a wonderful easter weekend at tulfarris with my wife and family everything from food drink and entertainment staff and service was outstanding asta la vista we will be back for sure Dermot Fitzsimons.
A fabulous venue and great for Weddings in Particular. The Ceremony room is beautiful and spacious and the staff both capable and caring. If you fancy a game of golf, the course there has plenty to offer. Highly recommended!

Lovely hotel that is located on the lakes with sometimes spectacular views. The golf course is open and yet tricky. Water features on three holes where I struck out. Magnetic.
Food was very good and the views were lovely across the 18th hole. Rooms comfortable and clean.

Wouldn t recommend. Extremely expensive for a very basic stay. No fridge in the room, not even a bottle of water is given. Shower went from boiling to freezing. Bar food was very disappointing. Wouldn t stay again, would be better to spend your money on a nice b&b in the area.

Tulfarris, well what can we say. From the moment we contacted Sharon & Honora about our wedding in January 2018 they were amazing! We were quite apprehensive, with both of us living in the UK and planning a wedding from abroad along with having such a short amount of time (8 months!) and the team at Tulfarris could not have been more helpful. We unfortunately could not go to view the venue before setting the date, but Sharon kindly took my Mom and Sister around, so they could take videos for us and give us an idea of what to expect should we go ahead. The best decision we made was choosing Tulfarris for our day.
In the lead up, Sharon and Honora answered every e-mail and question we had, and there were a lot! Everything felt so relaxed we were waiting for something to go wrong, how could planning a wedding be so easy? Tulfarris are an extremely professional venue and the day prior and the day after our wedding, there were more weddings being hosted which to us is a sign of the ability the venue has to churn out the weddings yet make the day feel like you're the only thing that matters.
We had our tasting in May, and were shown through all of the options, with some additional items such as pimp my prosecco, sorbets, ensuring our menu choices were made with full knowledge of what was available. The staff all had such full knowledge of the menu and were able to explain every element to us with such confidence. Tulfarris were very patient and accommodating with all our requests - even suggesting things we perhaps wouldn't have thought of.
The food was sensational on the day, all our guests were pleased with the menu and we catered to many different tastes, vegans, vegetarians and coeliac's.
There was so much flexibility about how the day went, we chose to have a pig on a spit in the evening, and Tulfarris kindly moved the evening food to be part of the Drinks reception. Everybody raved about the food! Some saying it was the best wedding meal they have ever had, and we couldn t agree more. It s the little details that really make a difference, bringing my grandparents up and down from the hotel to the manor house in the golf buggy, going out of your way to get cucumber for behind the bar when there was none left in stock
The morning of the wedding, we got ready in the Manor House. Cathriona was going to be looking after me for the day and bless her she hadn t even had a chance to change before my bridesmaids had some jobs for her! She really was a godsend to have around, making sure we got everywhere we needed to go, even down to the lake in the rain, offering me her jacket so I wouldn t get soaked and she would, she really could not have done more for us and it made the day so relaxed and enjoyable.
Alison, Kasia, Cathriona, we honestly cannot thank you enough for all the work you put in on our day, you were seamless. Nothing was a problem, everything was perfect and the three of you were an absolute pleasure to have with us on our day and we will never forget it!
We also put on a BBQ (indoors due to the rain!) on the Saturday, and again the food was impeccable. So tasty and made for a great end to our weekend.
We could not recommend Tulfarris enough. The setting, the staff, it really is in our eyes the perfect Venue. We re just sad it s all over now, but we will be back to visit, and cannot wait!
