Very good golf course, alot work has been done and the unfair bunkers removed which has made it a much better course. Greens were phenomenal for this time of the year.

Lost a days golf as our room wasn't ready. We arrived around 12.30 and didn't get our room until after 7..

Expensive spot to stay, and obviously caters for weddings. Very underwhelming approach, looks a bit like a nursing home as you come up the driveway. The wedding venue itself is nice, lovely courtyard, but the receptions rooms are a bit dark.
The hotel itself is a bit sprawling, I found it hard to find my room at the end of a long enough corridor. Room was nice, bathroom very modern and we'll appointed, although the shower pressure wasn't great. The worst part however is the sound insulation, we could hear our neighbour's snoring and were woken to doors opening and closing early the next morning. Friends also mentioned being awoken by people talking in the corridor.
The food at the wedding reception was great, breakfast a little underwhelming, and they seemed surprised at the amount of guests arriving for the last hour of breakfast on a Saturday morning.
One final word of warning, upon checking out we were given a bill 20 more than the agreed rate, it was quickly changed, but make sure you check the bill before paying

Fabulous course in great shape. Pace was slow on the back 9. Must play.

Lovely location and lovely rooms, however we had some problems. Firstly we were attending a wedding there at 3pm, we were told we couldn't check in until 4. So, after the ceremony we tried to check and still wasn't ready. It was nearly 5 by the time we got in.
Secondly, I accidentally left a pair of boots in the bedroom. I rang as soon as I got home, they said they would get back to me. They didn't. I rang twice again over the next two days, again they promised to get back to me, again they didn't.

Nice place for lunch and the golf course looked amazing

Lovely resort style course. Plenty of water to avoid! Hotel and garden facilities surrounding 18th green. The day we played the place was buzzing as the weather was great and it looked like everyone was outside! Hole number 6 (Par 3) across water is challenging. Other notables, the par 4's numbers 10 and 18. Keep left on 18! Recommended.

We went for a meal recently. The food was amazing, very generous portions too. The staff were so accommodating especially as there was quite a large crowd of us (with kids) the grounds are stunning too, really nice views from the restaurant/bar.

We spent one night in the hotel before a race at Punchestown racecourse. Had the worst possible stay. The walls are paper thin, we had neighbours who were up until 2am singing at the tops or our voices. We called down to reception and no one came and told them to be quiet.
When we woke up at 6am there was no available hot water.
We were promised a take away breakfast of pastries and fruit juice, when we went down to collect nothing was ready. 10 minutes later were presented with old chicken sandwiches and a bottle of water.

Complained to reception but because our room was pre-paid they couldn't don anything then. Since then the management have been incredibly difficult and rude choosing to ignore emails and refused any kind of refund.

Awful, awful stay. Do not stay here. Avoid at all costs.

Disappointed with our room "deluxe double " not even bottled water provided. Dinner in a room that is used for conferences as there was a large screen. Nothing on the walls, our tablecloth wasn't changed after the guests before us. We had a long wait as there was a large group of diners in the restaurant of the hotel. My pate was not good. Main course of chicken okay and the vegetables very random, one mange tout and bits and pieces in with carrots. Just not good enough. Oh and we were told that glasses of bubbly would be in our room when we booked. Still waiting for them! !!

Lime Tree Restaurant was excellent - dinner and service excellent..The rest of my experience there was disappointing and staff service very poor.. Later I wrote a complaint and it was dealt with exremely favourably by the CEO John O'Shea. Thank you..

A lovely course, great hotel and fantastic scenery.

Back again and will be returning. We had lunch, dinner, and breakfast. I had the nicest steak I ever had I am a fussy eater and asked if the chef get me a lean steak, it was trimmed and ever bit of fat gone .
That is service at it's best. We were allowed check in at 3pm even though check in is 4pm.
No problem with health and safety everywhere is spotless
I would say that if you like a cup of tea in your room bring your own cups as paper cups are provided not great.
Should be 5 star not 4.

Place is absolutely beautiful. Rooms are modern and well equipped. Very clean and everything worked. Good quality iron and hairdryer in the room. Fridge in the room. Bed is extremely comfortable. Elk Bar food is delicious. Hotel grounds are clean and stunning to walk around. Driving range is great. Parking is plentiful and nearby. Rooms were warm. Ours had the balcony which was a really nice surprise. Live music in the Elk bar until midnight. Very very pleased. Overall a wonderful stay.

Only negatives would be the staff seem a bit unexperienced and disorganised. But incredibly friendly. The showers weren't very hot. Walls are paper thin, you could hear the people next doors voices quite clearly. These wouldn't stop me from coming back though.

One of my favorite courses. Monster off back tees when wind whips off the lake. Grand place for a captains day. Great variety of holes especially back 9

Beautiful hotel and great food. Very enjoyable stay.

Horrific experience on the golf course 6 hours 34 minutes to play round!!! After playing 6 holes in 3 hours phoned pro shop and asked if a ranger could be sent to speed up play. There was 26 in our group no-one saw the mythical ranger! After 12 holes we had hit the 5 hour mark phoned again surprisingly the pro shop was now closed. Spoke to the hotel manager Aishling she sent out Tommy who explained the golf club had planned to put process in place to avoid this happening I pointed out it was currently happening and totally unacceptable to take this amount of time to play a round of golf. Tommy drove of into the sunset never to be seen again. Shame on you Tulfarris

Check-in was exceptional, the woman who checked us in was amazing. Hotel was clean, food was excellent and it was great value for money. Would definitely go back

Stayed for a wedding. Stunning place, helpful staff, great food and rooms were so incredibly spacious for the price. Well recommended.

What a lovely hotel. I went to a wedding here about 6 years ago. And this was the 1st opportunity I had to go back.
Food was lovely and decor was fab.

I do think one thing let the hotel down which was very unfortunate. I spent 2 nights there with my husband. The service was just so poor. At breakfast and dinner both nights we were missing food, notified the staff, and both days for both meals (4 meals in total) our food was gone, before what we waited on arrived.
Drink service at the bar was good.
Until the second night there was a bit of an ordeal with our drinks. (A mistake on behalf of the bar, which was rectified, but not without attitude from a staff member)

The hotel is beautiful. Unfortunately the service just was not on par with the hotel.

Beautiful hotel and grounds. Staff all very friendly during these difficult Covid-19 days nothing too much trouble all very curtious and welcoming. Special mention to Jessica in the restaurant went that extra mile when I said I had an intolerance to garlic. Left us to look over menu and came back had a word with the chef and actually apologized for having to restrict my selection. When I said she had nothing to apologise for she said she felt terrible telling me what I could and could not eat. A very lovely person and very willing.
Would recommend hotel highly.

I shared a lovely brunch here with a friend. So relaxing by the fire on the sofas. The mushroom starter was yummy Lovely Staff! The grounds are super.

Beautiful surroundings, friendly staff and in the current covid-19 restrictions, we felt safe as guidelines were followed by staff in hotel and restaurant. The hotel was really clean and organised as per guidelines, yet we felt quite comfortable and relaxed. Good food and would highly recommend for a get away.

Had a really great overnight stay with my mam and sisters mix up with rooms on arrival this was sorted straight away by Karen. All the staff where brilliant. Everything I. Place for customer safely. Food was excellent we had lunch dinner and breakfast loved it and will going again soon

Stayed in the suite for 3 nights.

Arrived and the receptionists were very nice. Proceeded to the room which was cosy but outdated. The bed was nice, there was a questionable stain on the sofa and the shower was awful, window doesn't lock, but we're easy.

First morning we went to the restaurant for breakfast. When we were going around the buffet and noticed there were wasps all over the food. Landing on the cereals and pastries, all over the windows. Had to leave and get breakfast in town. Also, the bread we had picked up had mould on it. Alleged 5 star restaurant...

Later that night (about 9pm) we decided to avoid the wasps and put the breakfast service door hanger on the door, to get breakfast delivered to the room. We looked at the door the next morning and the menu hadn't been taken by staff. We rang and told reception, who had assured us that someone would collect our menu, but they never did. I had to ring again to get breakfast.

We had stayed in this hotel before and enjoyed it. That's why we decided on returning. After this stay, we will not return.

A great place for a wedding food was beautiful especially the beef for the wedding but as a family resort lacking says playground no playground there they took it out even though it's in the website

Spent a lovely night here, the staff were all very friendly and attentive, and afternoon tea, dinner and breakfast in the Lime Tree restaurant were all spectacular. The room was very clean and spacious too. The only complaint I'd have is that the double bed was two singles pushed together and there was a gap in the middle which made it a bit uncomfortable.

Nice place, very accommodating staff. I would imagine this would be an amazing place if you are lucky to get the weather.

Good overnight in the hotel with a group of walking friends. food in the restaurant was excellent, music in the bar afterwards hit the right note

The hotel is beautiful, really fancy! Great for walking and relaxing. Staffs are nice and kind. The room is large and comfortable. But the food is not the best, like the breakfast could be better. I ate pizza and it was terrible, not a fresh pizza, it must be taken from the menu.

The hotel is set in beautiful grounds, the beds are so comfortable and the food is brilliant. The staff are wonderful, a special mention to the fabulous Heather who really went above and beyond. A massive thank you for a wonderful stay.

Just home from 2 night stay. Had a lovely time. Our room was spacious and spotless. Breakfast both mornings was lovely. Staff very efficient and friendly. Bar food very good. Lovely walks. Will be back

Got a great deal for stay breakfast and restaurant but upon arrival swapped to bar food and it was beautiful, staff were honestly so nice in the bar it would make you want to come back the next day..... can t complain honestly I d go back 100% really casual nice place to be .

The golf course was super. I was very disappointed with the food. The beef and vegetables were poor quality. The cheesecake desert was also poor.

We were a group of 11 men having a 2 day golf break,We very much enjoyed everything about Tulfarris, The helpful and friendly staff was much appreciated. The golf course is excellent, however a little more sand in the greenside bunkers would make the course suberb. We will definitely be back
