Was excited for buffet , it was just ok and the food court burger was pretty expensive for what it was . The room was also ok ac has super SUPER weak airflow , so I m pretty sure we won t be back. Front desk lady was nice though
Clean, cool and offers a great Prince tribute act called Purple Reign.
A little outdated but a fun inexpensive place to stay
Free Parking!!! Never super crowded. Always can find a table. Nice pool.
Rooms are nice...but casino is lacking...one table for roulette at 7pm is ridiculous.casino had no AC it was very hot in there
This was the second time I stayed at the Trop for a convention. At the price point this hotel is at, it is lacking the moderness and cleanliness of other hotels ON THE STRIP. The bathroom is run down(see pictures) and the room is showing its age. This hotel/resort is nowhere close to the standards of a Hilton hotel. This will be my last time at this hotel until it is remodeled. Do not stay here unless you have to. There are many more modern hotels at this price point.
Smelled less like cigarettes then the others. Maybe it was just a good day.
We were in Vegas for CES. We went to the Tropicana to watch the comedy show at the Laugh Factory. The show was great. Venue is intimate and comfortable.
A truly remarkable makeover this casino underwent. Clean, friendly service, an enjoyable casino experience. Absolutely clean casino.
Awesome place will definitely stay here again. Will have stayed 5 nights total on our trip to VEGAS...
Great stay, it's a Hilton "Doubletree" brand so it has to live up to the standards.
Went to the Laugh Factory for a show. Very funny, but both the tickets and drinks at the bar were a bit expensive comparatively.
Beautiful hotel very clean!!! Saw the magic show with the family we all really enjoyed it! And thanks for the bump up in the seating area Shelly!!!
Price friendly, still on the strip, close to airport.
We have stayed here 5 times, always happy with our room and service. Really great price and value on the strip. Pool is so nice too!
Love the girls out front that offer you to take pictures with them. Casino looks good inside, I liked the slot machines there.
Lot of cut backs- 1 cocktail waitress to work the ENTIRE floor in the morning, Give the new restaurants 2 stars - overpriced and my entire party did not care for their food and we all had different dishes. Sad to see it go down hill...
It's OK. Beautiful but not much in the way of promotions to serious players like me
checkin was horrible. room was mostly ok. had some patches of missing paint in the shower and paint spots on the nightstands
I have stayed at the Tropicana at least on two occasions. The service is good but the accommodations are less than what you would expect. My room stayed hot from the a/c not working properly and the service desk sent a box fan up. That s not what you expect at a luxury hotel in Vegas. I was not comped my rewards for my play. I would not recommend staying or playing at this facility. My loyalty to this company is over. I also notice they never respond to negative feedback. Lol
The Tropicana was great like many of the other mega hotels in Las Vegas definitely take your time to go through all of them including the Tropicana Check out the myriad of shows dining in gambling fantastic place Las Vegas love all the mega hotels.
Excellent pool and casino. Comfortable rooms. Clean and nice.
It's ok. Little worn down to be honest... Needs renovation
Tropicana has done pretty good on the remodels. However, the windows need better seals and the door jams need better seals as well. The windows let in a bit much sound and you can hear every one in the hallway. But still nice for the price.i happened to score a great deal on a King Club Suite.
Saw excellent show here Legends in Concert. First impression of hotel was very bright and clean. Lovely atmosphere but drinks expensive.
Location far from strip but clean rooms and decent service.
No thrills hotel on Las Vegas strip. Location is great, across from New York, Excalibur and MGM. Bsic rooms. Service is Ok.
Very good Hotel. Nice Rooms. Good Price. At the Strip. Perfekt.
Showing it's age. The convenient location is the only reason to stay here.
Good room but not a great view and the bed wasnt super comfortable
Clean quiet rooms. Becoming slightly outdated but still nice
Casino looks bright, clean and comfortable. Nice place to spend a few hours on your favorite machine or table.
So much broken stuff: safe in the room, remote for the tv, ice machine on our floor. Wifi stopped working on the 2nd day. Bathroom smells like urine. Water glass had water in it when we got there. Generally seems to be run down.
Very basic rooms but got good rates on busy weekend. It has some good places to eat. MGM Grand is a short walk away but it little far from all the big casinos on the strip.
First the entrance I entered had these heavy glass doors which closed quickly on you or the person(s) behind you. The air is filled with you this perfume which had me covering my face. It's overkill! The seats at the slots must weigh 50lbs or more and the older machines are hard to find. If your crowd is the senior citizen type then you will have many friends ;-) Lastly, the place could use a good paint job or something. I mean if you are force to look at Robert Irvine's supersized face at least clean up the building. Come on! Look around Trop do you see old english dudes mugs pasted on other casinos(Hint, hint Rio)? The Tropicana is stuck in casino purgatory.
Great place to go in vegas. Awsome bar great service. Took my wife here for a great time
Awful hotel and terrible service. Definitely stay anywhere else in Vegas but here. Total joke of a hotel and the rooms are awful.
Nice place but not too big. quiet casino and restaurant.
The casino lacks energy and the eateries are expensive and limited plus close too early ..great location, nice pool and affordable accommodation close to airport yet right in the strip...
Nice casino and a great wedding package. Wedding planner is very professional
I want to give a special shoutouts to Doug & Shaliyah from tropicana They represent this place very well...This place is great...Location is perfect your in the middle of everything..The customer service is top notch and I tried there new Robert Irvines restaurant and food was phenomenal...No complaints here...Oh & the food & service was great by the pool as well.Keep up the good work!!
They still charge you a resort fee even when the pool is closed.
The staff was amazing and genuinely cared however I'm giving this place a low score due to the air quality and stench. We were welcomed into a room last minute however it was so hard to breath when we walked in and wondered around the first floor looking for the front desk and stairs. The first floor is a casino and everyone inside is smoking. The air is super thick and unbearable. We don't have breathing problems, but after staying here, I might. They have a "smoking room" in the back yet the lobby/casino is a mess. I don't believe I'll be staying here again.
This place is recently remodeled and it is gorgeous. The rooms are so wonderful! I took a bath and a huge bathtub overlooking a beautiful view of the Vegas strip. I love this place and I will stay here next time I'm in Vegas for sure
The service was nice and the food and drinks were good. They had a promo team walking around the pool deck handing out small cups of beer and the atmosphere was nice.
Had a great show, Raiding the Rock Vault. A great show and reasonably priced!
The construction sucked. And the casino itself is a little small but the atmosphere is cool and the games are new so I would recommend to other's... Three states due to construction...
One of the last places in Vegas that has free parking. Best place to go.
Very good location and rates are good, not as many dining selections as before but still good choices. It's only of my old time favorites
I went to the lounge to have drinks with fri3nds. Bartenders were friendly.
The staff was pretty awsome. Front desk check. Thank you.
Excellent rooms, the gambling is supertight, free parking, good customer service, and great location (walking) to other casinos. Driving in and out is easy and you don't get stuck in traffic going offstrip or taking the back roads to other casinos. Great place to stay but not the best place to gamble.
This casino looks much much better than 5 years ago, clean, refreshed and pleasant. They have great comedy clubs
This was a very nice hotel. Friends of mine got married here and the backdrop view of their wedding was gorgeous. They had the ceremony in a secluded space so it was quiet and had great views, which was nice. And once the wedding was over it was just a few steps away to the party!
A very large hotel with a large casino that you must walk through to go in or out. Awesome pool and jacuzzi. Ordinary rooms with no fridge or microwave. We were in the Club Tower which is a long walk from the hotel lobby and casino. A variety of restaurants, but all are overpriced IMHO. Savor is a wonderful buffet but costs $30+ per person. Hotel staff is terrific. If you bring more luggage than you can carry in yourself you'll need to get a bell hop to help because they don't let guests use the luggage carts. Valet parking is included, except what you choose to tip the valet.
Nice hotel, just at the start of the Vegas strip. Not as glam as Caesar's or The Bellagio, but good restaurants, low-stakes tables and friendly staff. Quick to get to the airport too!
Although we didn't stay at the Tropicana for this trip, we certainly did enjoy the amenities. We we're there for a wedding in the Havana Room. It was absolutely beautiful. We also won $150 playing Lord of the Rings. Chhhhaaching. It was a very clean casino and everyone who worked there was very kind and helpful. Thank you for the memories. #vivatropicanada
Bath room exhaust fan was too loud and noisy. One switch controls all lights and exhaust in the bath room. So there is no way to be in the bathroom with lights on and exhaust fan off. TV remote didn't work. Even if i want to operate TV manually, none of the cable channels worked except a couple over the air channels. I reported about TV remote, but nobody bothered to fix it.
Overall I would have given it a 5 star rating except for the cigarette smoke. Don't get me wrong I am an ex smoker myself, I just think it's time to segregate it to allow asthma sufferers like my wife to be able to go there and see it. The hotel does try very hard to accommodate their guests.
Beautiful place but you can leave home broke if you're not careful
A very clean establishment! Pool area is very nice!!!
The place is descent the casino is ok there is no non smoking to gamble in , so nake sure for non smokers to bring a lot of extra t shorts since your clothe will smell that. The rooms are not up to the standards of other casinos in las vegas but still descent . Booking was excellent they have the best receptionist. Hallways rooms doesn't smell fresh and clean idk why. The best steak reataurant so far in vegas , the service is above and beyound average ( a bit expensive ) , oh they gave me $200.00 per day food comp and that was awesome but not happy since i can't use it for other purchases. No indoor swimming pool. under 18 not allowed at the gym ( that sounds a bit too much) was there with my son and doesn't have a lot of options where i would hang out with him.
Overall ok but they could do more.
