Dad 85 with COVID. They do a good job, but it is hard when you can't see them. We can't find his wallet. He was moved to NHC at 1am New Years day which stressed him out. He thought he had been stolen and didn't know where he was took several days to get over it. They don't always answer their phone either. Limited visiting hours because of COVID. They need to setup face time phone calls with the elderly that are confused.

I always have a good positive experience as a patient at TriStar Hendersonville. Everyone is kind and friendly. Everyone always has a smile. The people (employees) we encounter do help relieve anxiety and worry of the testing/procedures we are scheduled for.

The nurses were all so very nice, taking time to listen to me. That's something I thought was gone, but I felt different there. Everyone was so reassuring to both my family and me. Five stars don't seem like enough praise. Thanks to everyone, they were kind and professional, a great combination.

I have a daughter that is 21 years old, with Down Syndrome (Special Needs) and she was feeling poorly. I took her to Tri-Star on a weekday evening, about 8 pm. The digital sign on the street stated less than 1 minute wait for service. We went in and the admitting agent let her in the back immediately. They assigned us a waiting room and the doctor was very nice as well. They swabbed her mouth and quickly determined she had the flu. We received a script and were out of their emergency room and on the way home in less than 30 minutes. Pretty awesome Tri-Star visit and service. The rest of the staff was great as well!
Thanks Tri-Star

I have been in labor and delivery twice in the past 24 hour. When I first got there I was asked for a urine sample and they said that I had a UTI which was the cause of severe back pain. Cool, they called me in antibiotics to my pharmacy. I end up having to go back to labor and delivery with pain that was radiating into one leg making it so I could not walk. They tested my urine again and said this pain was mostly caused by me tweaking a muscle. They asked what I had been doing for pain which I informed them Tylenol, bio freeze and a heating pad which hasn't been touching the pain. They informed me that the on call Dr will not give me anything other than Tylenol for the pain, which I then ,again, told them has done nothing for the pain. I understand that being pregnant I am very limited on what I can take but I had very similar issues when I was pregnant with my son and was perscrpres medication that was safe and helped take the edge off. They end up telling me that if the pain continues to come back in yet refuses to do anything to help when I come in.

The experience was absolutely wonderful, since the preregistration the person on the phone was very helpful. Then on the procedure day every single one of the staff attended me so good. The nurse in charge of my preparation before the procedure, she was an angel, I was so scared because it the first time I had that test.
Thanks God I have the opportunity to bless everyone before I was discharged. The true is I went out the hospital smiling.
I am a CNA and since that day I will love to work in that hospital. God bless you all for make our life better. I am sure your account in Heaven is enormous.

TriStar Hendersonville Medical Center is one of the best medical facilities I have been to in my 60 some odd years.
The staff that provide services there are exceptional people. They treated me with respect and dignity. Took exceptional thought to keep my privacy. On top of All of that, they were welcoming, kind, courteous, cheerful, friendly, and went out of their way to make sure I was comfortable and had everything I needed! You couldn't get better service at a 5 star hotel.

The people who we dealt with like the nurses and the doctors were very sweet and very professional but the discharge woman and the check-in woman are absolutely disgustingly rude and when I try to go and ask for a school note they want to sit there and turn their noses up at me because I didn t ask the nurse when I was in the room. (Still didn t get my school note) because she said I should ve asked while I was in the room. So I really wouldn t recommend this hospital I should ve drove the extra 10 minutes to skyline.

I would have given them 5 stars but had a problem with getting the actual results/report of my X-ray to my doctor. The facility said that after trying three times to fax it (fax? what about email?) they would not try again. Finally, the facility called the doctor's office and gave them the results on the phone. This is unacceptable. Although the results were finally reported, whose fault was it that the fax wasn't received? Very disappointing give how great everyone was when I was at the facility and the person who did the X-ray.

Continually double bills and attests no responsibility for billing to patients. Their fees are the highest in the state, and they should be audited. A cost of over $3000 for three stitches in an arm, no x-rays.

My fiancee and I had our first child 02/15/2018 and our stay has been incredible. The nurses make us feel like family. We've had to stay in the NICU for 4 days now and everything has been perfect until a new nurse by the name of Teresa came to our room. She has been sarcastic with my fiancee and called her a slacker. We are new parents and still learning. She seemed to be frustrated when having to get a new swaddler for our son due to urinating on his bed. I did not appreciate it at all. We don't know when our son will be cleared to go home due to low blood sugar and it just feels awkward being here now. I feel like my child will be mistreated if left alone with her. Other than that, our stay has been incredible. Thank you.

After almost 4 hours in the emergency room with my Aunt and unbelievable inefficiency we left after a CT scan. There was no one there when we arrived!
The cost, inefficiency and total lack of organization in this ER make it the last place we would ever return to. A truly awful experience! ER s are the only place i know where they can bill you whatever they like and keep you waiting as they please!! My advice? Try anywhere except TriStar!

The staff is amazing. They were super friendly and made me feel very comfortable when there is nothing comfortable about getting a mammogram or ultrasound. :)
I did have to wait what seemed to be a little longer than usual, but that happens.

Do not have your baby here!!!! My sister had her 3rd child here and the nurses are very rude and they treated my sister like she didn t even have a child at all! Anytime my sister needed something we had to go to the nurses station!!! Then when we asked for anything like even just a hot rag for her back or anything it was a problem they huffed like ughh. I had my one and only child at centennial and it is the best hospital I would never ever recommend even a dog to have a child here.

I will never go back to tristar Hendersonville Med...

I will never go back to tristar Hendersonville Medical center. I went in for emergency surgery 1/27/18. After the surgery they sent me to recovery well the nurses that night 1/27/18 were kind and on top of their game. But no one once came to tell me how the surgery went. So I have no idea what went on while I was under anesthesia. Well morning of 1/28 shift change 7am was horrible I had to ask the charge nurse for a new nurse well the new nurse was better but not on top of her stuff. When I asked questions she asked me question back is that what they told you um I don t know because no one came to follow up with me after the surgery. I asked for my water jug to be refilled 4 times and she never did finally when the cafeteria lady came in to give me my food I asked her and she did it right away. They had also put wraps on both my legs to prevent blood clog well needless to say they never brought in the machine too hook it up after my surgery. So then the nurse takes them off and says I will put them on when I bring the machine. Well hours go by and nothing.
Long story short I will not being coming back here and will make sure none of my family or friends do either!! The nurse service is horrible.

ER's are never a place one wants to go, but this facility is hands down the best facility I have ever received care at. We were visiting from out of state when my hand started causing me major issues. My husband and I decided to come here just to be safe. Greeted immediately and within 10 minutes we were walking back where we were greeted with not only the nurse but the doctor. He immediately looked at my hand and ordered x rays. Another 10-15 minutes the x ray technician comes in, and she was absolutely amazing. Her personality shined and she made us laugh, which is always needed in times like this. We were taken care of and were released within an hour and at no point did I feel that we were rushed. Tge care, the staff and the experience were above superb. I wish I could give this facility 10 stars and I wish every facility held such high care standards. Thank you!

Day of my visit the hospital was understaffed. Needed x-ray one hour prior to my doctor's appointment. Was there one hour and twenty minutes before appointment. I was just going in to x-ray at my appointment time. Was 30 minutes late to appointment. I called before I left to notify doctor and they were nice enough to stay over and work me in last on a Friday right at 5 pm. Very unprofessional of staff to tell me that they had no help, no staff or they are the only person there at the moment and acted as if "get over it".
A lot of people have to take off of work for doctor's visits such as myself. I would have been very angry if would have had to reschedule everything just because short staffing. Next x-ray will be done by another facility.

I recently had a c section. The nurses on the OB floor were phenomenal!! They were kind and so helpful! My anesthesiologist was also outstanding. I was very nervous and he talked me thru and explained everything so well. My experience at TriStar was wonderful and I am so thankful for all the kind nurses and doctors who cared for me and my newborn.

My wrist surgery experience at Hendersonville Hospital was very good. All of the nurses, doctors, and even hospital volunteers were helpful, informative, caring, and professional. They scheduled me for surgery as quickly as possible, and took every precaution to make sure that my concerns about infection were addressed. It has been 2 weeks since surgery. Healing is on schedule, and there are no signs of infection.

I had my left knee replaced on February 18th . The staff was very dedicated to making things so smoothly, taking care of my needs , and making my stay there so comfortable. Caring. Friendly, nurses who made sure I had what I needed, at the time I needed it. Physical therapy, and occupational
therapy worked with me for the 3 days I was there, and did a wonderful job. My case worker Anita did so much to help me get into a rehab center, and worked very hard talking with centers and myninsurance company. Unfortunately.y insurance did not do their part, so Anita worked on to get me hooked up with an in home therapy center. Thanks to each and every one of you for making my stay at Hendersonville Medical Center so nice.

glad i made a 3 PM appointment to be seen at ten past 4.
scheduled a surgery with this facility 2 weeks ago, and every day for 3 days leading up to it they called me to change the time. making arrangements to get home was impossible because of this.
overall there's no consideration for the personal time of patients.
i hate it when doctors think they can pull nonsense like this

I don't usually feel compelled to write reviews , but I'm this case it's a must! I'm from Georgia and am in the process of moving to Goodlettsville TN. My daughter who is 18 and moving with me had developed a abrasion on her underarm and she was in a lot of pain after using diy home remedys it continued to get much bigger so even with no insurance I decided she needed a Dr. I'm case it turned septic . I ended up at Tri star hospital on shackle Rd ( off shackle rd) in Hendersonville ..All I can say is WOW!! What a different experience than in my 46 yrs on earth ,I was in shock.. My daughter was already in a room by the time I parked my car and walked in .. The ladies at the check in were so nice to me and took me straight back to my daughter , the nurse was right behind me assessing her wound and giving her a gown and blanket . Before she was dressed in gown the Dr was there and did what they felt necessary to do.. We were in and out in about a hour and treated as if we were family , the register lady even assisted me with helping my daughter apply for Tenn.gov to help with medical coverage .. They called us several times to check on her .. I am still just blown away at the difference in this experience and the ERs I've been to in my life in Georgia where they ask you up front about payment and it all goes down hill after that I have waited 6 hours once in Georgia and handed a barf bag by a nurse while waiting ?? I just can't say enough about the staff the cleanliness and of course the Drs at this hospital ER.. This is how you do it people treated with empathy and respect . Thank you all for your kindness is all I can say .

Disappointed by pain care. Rather than recognizing that pain management works best on a schedule, they want the patient to ask for meds. By that time, pain has already gained control. When I asked for meds to be given on a schedule, the nurse said sure, then didn't show on time. Even when paged, it would take 30 minutes or longer to get the meds. I went home early just to get myself on a schedule. Otherwise, things went well and I felt the hospital was clean.
