Remodeling but still a nice comfortable place. Grounds are amazing. Would stay there again
Remodeling but still a nice comfortable place. Grounds are amazing. Would stay there again
Very disappointed. No breakfast what so ever. Yes, COVID 19 played a part, but not even pre packaged items or fresh coffee
The last time I was in this place seen dead chicks something need to be done
A little outdated but friendly staff and great location.
Newly renovated room with fireplace. Outside needs maintenance but room was nice. Comfy bed. Staff were very nice and helpful. Convient location. I would stay again. Oh they only have 2 fireplace rooms. And the balcony is a shared balcony.
Beds were comfortable. Liked how it was pet friendly. The bathroom needed updated and repaired. Black mold on ceiling and walls. Don t believe the pictures. The buildings all needs updated. It s under new management and was told they only have gas stations so are new to hotels... heated indoor pool was broken (the only reason why I chose this hotel). The changing areas in the pool were something out of an horror movie. Toilets right next to each other with no stalls.
Very nice property with lots of family activities. Tonight there is a bonfire and movie on the lawn. Our room is clean and very homey. There is an outdoor pool and an indoor pool and hot tub and they are very nice. We will definitely stay here again!
Great place to stay and get away wouldn't think about going anywhere else!!
Room wasn't at all described online. The room smelled really bad like mildew. Out of 3 pools only one open and we had to drive to get to it. No mountain view at all.
The room is decent enough. Water is piping hot which is awesome. All in all it's not a bad stay.
Beautiful rooms beautiful grounds. Indoor and outdoor pools were gorgeous. Very happy with my booking.
This was a nice and quaint lodge. They were in the process of remodling/under construction, which is why I gave a 4 star rating. It's pet friendly ($10 per pet) a night. We had a family suite, balcony, additional tv room with a pull out sleeper couch. The room was clean. I'd recommend it.
Stayed during renovations to main lobby, which lead to confusion about check in and checking out. Room was clean and comfortable. Heater was not working, but turned out to be okay for that night. Bathroom in our family suite could be updated.
Not as represented in photos. Front desk people were rude especially the woman at check in. We stopped in early to see the place and she looked up from the desk and said "You are early, come back at 3pm". Being in the customer service industry for 40 years myself, this was an unacceptable response. In customer service she rates an F. In the room the toilet was not adhered to the floor, the flooring was coming up in the bed area ,the smell of animal was strong, there was one plastic cup for drinking, no soap, no blankets and no assistance available. The WiFi was spotty at best and the inclusive breakfast as advertised on the booking site, was posted at the front door as cancelled due to Covid. Take it off your site then.
The natural beauty of the mountains could not be spoiled by this place, but after the experience we had there, we would never go back.
Very nice be even better when they are done with the renovations best pillow top mattress I slept so great
For the most part everything was great. The one thing I have to complain about is the fireplace. The chimney was not ventilated properly which meant we couldn't get a fire to continue. Chimney needs to be cleaned.
We stayed their the 26th of Dec. 2018 through the 1st of Jan. 2019. We will not stay there again. No phone. No alarm clock. Toilet was very lose. The bed slanted toward the head and sagged in the middle, so we had to sleep with our heads at the foot of the bed. No comfortable chair to sit in. One day no hand towels and the housekeeper left our door open. No lighting on the driveway to indicate where the driveway is, or reflectors. We filled out a survey from the lodge with the above items listed and gave them a very poor rating and they put on there website that we rated it a 7.9. What a blatant lie.
It's a lovely place and conveniently located near several beautiful parts of the park. Amenities, though, seem a bit sparse for the price -- there's no alarm clock or phone in the room. But most rooms have a small patio, and each has a Keurig. The staff and housekeeping crew were very sweet!
This place knocks it out of the park . Awesome people in a great travel lodge rested on a peaceful & quiet site . The people are second to none and quality is unsurpassed.
Nice place to stay, beds are the best I have ever slept in. Clean rooms, nice people.
Nice place, nice staff, the bugs are a bit rough for an outdoor event, but it was still good for a wedding. Just bring some form of antibug candles, or tikilamps, or give your guests anti bug wristbands.
The ceiling in the bathroom was coming down and pieces of it were scattered on the floor and there was water leaking in those areas and there was water on the floor. We were too tired to change rooms so we put towels on the bathroom floor. The bed was comfy. All in all it wasn't a bad stay since it was only about 12 hours. Next time I'll check the room prior to getting settled in for the night
I was at the Tremont for NY gest friends wedding. The area was beautiful and right down the road from cades cove. The rooms were comfortable and beautiful. I would highly recommend visiting the lodge if you are in the area.
Still needs many new Updates in the rooms. Overall Though our room was clean and pools were clean and nice... And they still have free Ice..
There property is beautiful and staff is very helpful
Such a beautiful view from out on our balcony at our hotel room!
Great stay, very clean, comfortable beds. We loved the room. Best deal for the money.
Very comfortable old school Travelodge. Much prettier than Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge.
Quiet clean out of town and affordable. What else do you need
Stayed three days at hotel with friends and both rooms were dated with the smell of mold plus the bathrooms were just nasty. Also I forgot a motorcycle jacket in the room and call the staff upon arriving home and was told the cleaning staff was gone for the evening and they would call me back. Needles to say I have made many attempts to the hotel management to resolve my missing jacket issue within a three week period with no luck. Seriously I am a patient person but come on people I mean not even a sorry or can I split the cost of the jacket or anything. Do yourself a favor and stay anywhere else but here.
Quite plus thtee pools what more could you ask for!
What a beautiful resort the grounds were immaculate the staff was wonderful the pool and hot tub was amazing would stay there in a minute next time
Rates were way too high for the quality of our room. Room description was very misleading, a deluxe king apparently means a bed and mini-fridge (which was placed on top of a night stand). There was a tv, but not much else. No alarm clock, no phone. A bed, a TV, and a fridge on a nightstand. The shower drain was clogged and the room was dirty. We found a whisky bottle, dental floss, and a skoal poach behind one of the night stands. Also don't appreciate that no one works the office at night. Apparently they work on "the honor system." Leaving all room keys in a mail box at night that anyone has access to. All this for $160/night. Very very disappointed. Way overpriced.
Room was clean service was great. They are renovating didn't bother us at all. Great place we will be back.
Room was dirty . A lot of bugs on the floor and some nail clippings and a fishing hook in the carpet . Looked like someone cut their hair over the bathroom sink . Stuff on the toilet seat . It smelled stuffy and closed up when we arrived . No housekeeping the three days we stayed there except to bring towels and wiped half the hair off the sink . I actually bought a bottle of cleaner and cleaned it myself so we could actually use the bathroom and not be standing on bugs . I would not suggest this Place .
Wifi, tv connection was not there. Offered another room which also doesnt have these features
Beautiful views, wherever you go! Great pools, a nice area to stroll around in, and it's really close to Cade's Cove
Cute place and good price but breakfast wasn't ready on time so didn't get to eat.
Peaceful & Quiet Location . Very Friendly People & Decent Prices .
This place was absolutely beautiful the pictures does not show the beauty they are making it more besutiful. All the staff was amazing and helpful will definitely stay again.
I've stayed here on a few occasions. The rates are great, the rooms are clean, and the service is always friendly. We stay here to visit Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. We enjoy a nicer stay at a better price and way less traffic.
One room adequately fit the entirety of my six member sized family. The television has full cable and we had two TVs in our room. The beds are a nice queen size with plenty of pillows. The bathroom had a shower/bath with a sink, and another sink outside of it to use for brushing teeth or whatever if the bathroom was occupied. The only issue with our room was the lack of air conditioning. There was a ceiling fan and an AC in the living room area where the balcony, mini fridge, and coffee table were, but neither in the bedroom with a dresser and two beds. When the AC was left on long enough and low enough, the rooms were cool enough. Overall, the room was very nice and the different lodges were neat. There were also two swimming pools outside and one indoor pool, which was very nice to relax in after a long trek to Abram's Falls and back.
Older place with some new additions. We liked it and will go back.
In the middle of transition and updating, but that didn't stop them from making sure everything was perfect. Nice pools and lodge. Great property.
We love it here! This is the perfect place for a family! There is a lot of space in the room and the resort is huge. The beds are very comfortable and the room is great. The resort has many options for the type of accomodation you want. The indoor pool is beautiful! The area is very family-friendly. Everyone has been kind and even the neighboring rooms have some pretty nice people. This resort is similar to a Double Tree in the mountains! We will be back with our family.
Staff was courteous and helpful. Room was big, comfortable, and quiet.
Rooms are very roomy and clean beds are very comfortable we will definitely be back.
Great place to stay. Recently remodeled and very well priced. We will be back!
Nice average hotel. However some rooms can give you more of the cabin style vibe. Others are located poolside...plenty of preference options available. Rooms are clean and spacious.
Only downside I can clearly notice is that breakfast is all cold based. Meaning there are no eggs sausage grits etc. Not when I was there anyway. The price is decent and is reasonable located between pigeon forge and Gatlinburg. Nice scenic routes through the mountains. Just be careful on the tight narrow roads and switchbacks. A very fun yet dangerous road. All in all a great place to stay especially if you're not going to spend much time in the room.
Wow this was a very interesting stay. So I chose this hotel specifically because there was an indoor pool and I wanted to bring my son to play for a couple of days. The pool and the room it was in was absolutely freezing! I got in up to my waist and could barely stand it my little boy played for a bit but his nose started running and teeth chattering it was way too cold, also hot tub broken. Told the staff they said they would check and later they said it was 75 degrees a normal indoor pool is 84 degrees! And they had the ac going in the indoor pool area. The lady at the front desk was huffing and puffing and was not wanting to do anything to help us out at all finally I had to tell her I would pay extra just to get a jacuzzi room so my kid could play in something that wasn t freezing. Finally she called the manager and switched us after I had asked her all day. Fast forward to the jacuzzi suite we had bees!!! Killed 6 bees in the room like what the heck! Only thing nice was it was clean and the property was nice to walk. I ve never had a front desk worker at a hotel huff and puff and act so inconvenienced to help the only 3 people staying there!
Nice little place in Townsend. Loved the fireplace and whirlpool tub.
Booked online which made easy for check in. Front desk lady was very friendly. Our room was very clean the bed was super comfortable! We will definitely stay here again in the future. It's a little ways from pigeon forge which is what we were looking for. Only 25 minutes from cades cove!!
A great place to stay enjoy the newly remodeled rooms especially the Serta executive queen size bed enjoy!
Very quiet and affordable, the staff was friendly and the hotel rooms were immaculate. Only complaint would be that the hot tub was not working when we stayed, but they said it would soon be fixed.
A little dated as most things are in Townsend, very clean, affordable, and all the amenities you want.
Bottom line - this property is NOTHING like what it appears to be online. I am thankful that they did at least refund the money that they charged us for an upgraded room - when we checked in, we clearly were not in an upgraded room. The rooms are terribly outdated and our faucets leaked like a sieve - if we would have left them on, they would have flooded the entire room. Clearly maintenance is not a priority and that makes you wonder a whole lot about cleanliness. Definitely find an AirBnB instead!
Very easy to access, friendly staff, clean rooms, and well worth a visit
Blood stains on the sheets, room door that wouldn't open (in or out) and a little bug or two. We have been here a year plus ago and loved it - friendly staff and a good room. They went thru changes in ownership/management and seem to have problems getting the feet on the ground. There is some construction/updating going on, however that should not be an excuse for a bug or two and especially not for blood stains on the bed sheet!!!!!!! Its a great location and the price was good but damn, you gotta get it together!!!!
This may be the cleanest hotel room I've stayed in. Ever. The people in the office were really friendly and helpful. I'll certainly stay again when I'm in the area.
Beautiful and clean great staff I will be returning
Great place to stay on the quiet, peaceful side of the Smoky Mountains. Resort is nice, 2 outdoor pools and 1 indoor pool. Staff were very nice, friendly and helpful. Also loved that they had pet friendly rooms. We enjoyed our stay and will be back. My only issue is the lack of light in the rooms.
Beautiful cabin-like suites. Amazing pool and hot tub!
Rooms and views we're amazing. Plenty privacy and the kids will enjoy themselves
Attended a meeting in the conference Center. The facilities seemed comfortable and adequate for a small group that provided their own refreshments
Worst place in the world, my niece stayed here with her family and floor was so nasty that 5 minutes after my nephew was walking on it his feet was black. When she went to the office and complained they said it was cleaned, she asked for another room they said no asked for a refund they said no they had already got a discount cause of COVID. No one would come reclean the room, it was awful.worst weekend ever.
Wanted to give it 4 stars because the beds were very comfortable (one of the best I've ever had in a hotel) and the shower was powerful (another priority item for a good hotel) but in reality it's very dated and with such poor wifi my kids would've rated it a 1 because that's what's important to them. Breakfast didn't have any hot food. Not sure if I'd stay here again but I guess I might.
The room was dirty and although our room was not for pets it smelled like many pets had stayed in the room before us. The wi fi had been broken for 3 weeks. My husband needed wifi for work and when we asked for a refund to be able to stay elsewhere ut was denied. The room was spacious enough but there was no table or desk. I would n
ever stay there again. I will not book thru hotels.com again either as we were not able to reach a person to help us with customer service.
Beautiful place, awesome staff. Can't wait to go back
Beautiful large property! Everyone was pleasant. Rooms older but very clean. I'll stay again.
TV didn't work no phones in the room I guess everyone in the world has cell phones now outdoor pool empty
Could not be happier with this place. Clean, quiet, and an excellent price. Great restaurants in town and super close to hiking trails. This is your place if you are looking for a Smoky Mountain experience that isn't in the craziness of Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg.
Very clean rooms, nice service. Will definitely be back.
We recently stayed at the tremont resort and lodge June19th-June21st. Room was just ok looked better online so was disappointed that it didn t look like what they portrayed. On Saturday night 6/20 the upstairs guests threw a ALL NIGHTER PARTY and I mean all night into the morning. It sounded like a herd of elephants were above us all night and yelling and screaming. I called the after hours phone number for help to get them to stop because it is stated in the rules that there is a quiet time over night. After the 3rd call to the staff member on call I was Told there is nothing else he can do, so it went on all night long until check out time the next morning. On check on Sunday there was no one in the office and I found no one to talk on the grounds. I emailed the staff and told them of the problem and asked for a refund for the one night of our horrible stay. I was told that due to the booking.com policy no refund but they did offer a gift certificate for another 2 night stay, but since I learned that the staff can t or won t enforce their own rules of the quiet time for all guests I declined the offer. I did not want to risk another night like we had already experienced. Just putting out a beware before you book because the price looks good you might have buyers remorse like us. Just realize you ll be on your own, I should have called the police lesson learned.
Geared for families nice comfortable rooms playground
This was a great place to stay for the weekend! It feels like a little community and the room was very spacious.
We are Staying at Tremont's Fox Den cabin on Tom Henry Rd. In Townsend. It is really nice, rustic and tucked into the woods just a short distance feom the Great Smoky National Park entrance. We love Fox Den and have stayed in it a total of three times now.
Floor in bathroom was filthy. Something sticky all over floor. Towels in bathroom were supposed to be white but were stained. Doubt I'll ever stay there again
