Trek Bicycle Store Hoppers Crossing Review

I have been going to this Trek store for the last 12 months and have bought 2 bikes from them. James thanks for taking time to understand what I am after and guiding me through my purchases.

Just walked out of the store. Bad customer service. Walked in and waited for 5 minutes and looked around for help but didn't even get acknowledged.

Looked at prices on a few items and they all looked expensive.

Knowing that there are a couple more shops just down the road they guys need to be more customer focused.

brand new bike got scratches. very unprofessional assembling. BEWARE.

This is a Trek shop for sure. The guy that helped us was nice, but would not exchange my product without a receipt on current products. One which did not work. He confirmed that there was something wrong with it and still did not offer any sort of exchange. I tried to exchange a couple of products and spend more money. I agreed that I did not have the receipt, but they were not willing to entertain any exchange even if I paid for the more expensive product. I work in retail and I would always be willing to exchange product if I a) sold that product, and b) was going to make more money. This is a city of bicycle shops. These guys got my money for the first items, but they will not get another cent of mine. I have also let the ACCC know about what happened today.

Great service and advice, would definitely recommend

Very friendly and approachable team in store. They had the product I wanted at a reasonable price. Most of all they were able to accommodate my schedule making it extremely easy.

I was really glad I chose Trek for the latest servicing of my bikes. They were extremely helpful, knowledgeable and all. work and costs were throughly explained before any work commenced.

Absolutely love the place, friendly and helpful staff, lots of bikes, accories and so much more.

Was looking for a new dual suspension bike and went into Trek Hoppers Crossing for the first time. The service was very impressive from the start of my dealings to the end. I ended up purchasing a dual suspension bike from here. James and Leon had me completed sorted and took time to fit me to the bike and went through explaining any potential trouble areas and how to fix these myself. Would recommend this bike shop highly.

Awesome customer service, ordered a bike for xmas present, unfortunately the bike ended up on back order and would not be delivered intime for xmas, found the same bike elsewhere and trek hoppers crossing were happy to issue a full refund and appology that this did not arrive as intended with out any arguments or silly questions asked.

The service that I received from James at the Trek Hopper Crossing store was excellent. He took the time to understand my needs and I came away with the right bike for my daughter. Highly recommended.

Have been a customer for a number of years now - with Scotty and the team taking over I have had excellent service from them. In particular I had to get a new bike (car accident bent my old one) Ended up doing a project one bike and was able to resuse some parts from my old bike. The guys went out of their way to bring it all together for me - couldn't be happier.

Friendly team. Quick service. Awesome location for the west. Nice collection of bicycles. Guys know their products. A bit lacking on the accessories though.

Just dropped into Trek to check out the kids bikes for our grandson. We were greeted by James and his colleague who were both flat out serving at least 4 other customers between them. As soon as they were free they showed our 6 yo grandson suitable bikes for his height etc. He was wrapped. So a nice new boys bike in red. They go faster. We were impressed with the service and also ended up buying a decent mountain bike for our son. Also in red. Thanks James and the Trek Hoppers Crossing Team.

Absolutely amazing bunch of people. Great service everytime. My husband has recently brought a balance bike for our daughter and the customer service couldnt be better. They were friendly, had heaps of information and were kind. Definitely will be back for our son.

I went to Trek (at Hoppers Crossing) for upgrading my Wheel set. Met up with Joss Peake who was at the counter and he immediately helped me through the process. He gave me an accurate ETA of the Wheel set and i just got them fitted yesterday by James. They committed to a time to complete the fitting and stuck by it. All in all a wonderful experience interacting with Joss and James. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. I highly recommend Trek Bicycles Hoppers Crossing to everyone.

Very happy with my experience at Trek Hoppers Crossing, Joss & James and the rest of the team were very helpful and knowledgeable. They let me demo 2 bikes for the whole day at You Yangs MTB Park to help me make the correct choice before I made my purchase. I went with the Fuel EX 8 29 (2019) it is an awesome bike and would highly recommend Trek Hoppers to anyone, they have a massive range of bikes to suit any style or skill level.

If your customer service is anything like the driver of the black Volkswagen covered in your stickers then I'd avoid at all costs, seriously.

I found the sales staff here to be super helpful. They helped my find a bicycle suitable for my child's birthday. There was a minor mix up with the delivery date, but they went out of thier way to resolve the situation on time which i really appreciated.

The guys at the Hopper's crossing store are awesome, they are very helpful and knowledgeable . Throw that in with a big selection of top quality bike's and why would you want to go anywhere else.

Friendly service. Guys really know their product. Charged me less than originally quoted on service because didn't need part we thought it might. I wouldn't have known either way. Love honest service. Definitely recommend, and Trek bikes are awesome!

Great service, great product. Cant fault it based on my recent experience with the guys at trek hoppers for the purchase for my marlin 5 MTB. They were good to make recommendations without being pushy and made me comfortable with the choice I made. On a day to day basis we see a lot of pushy salesmen around so it was a good to experience some great customer service at the store. My bike had to be ordered and built and the communication from the guys at store was good at all times.

Couldn't be happier with the advice and service I got from the guys instore. Go in there with the right attitude and you'll be right.. extra thanks to Trav!

James was a friendly, engaging salesman who spent a lot of time patiently discussing our interests in an eBike for my wife. You couldn't expect more from a friendly sales experience, and the Trek store is conveniently located with a great range of bikes and accessories.

The store messed when it came to repairing my wheels and surprising additional costs, but the subsequent ownership and compensation was top notch customer service. Thank you Elliot and the very friendly staff. I highly recommend their shop.

The man that served us was named James he was an excellent salesman and the deal he gave us was outstanding we got a brand new bike with a pump, kickstand, helmet, lock, water bottle holder and a water bottle for an amazing deal. The staff were extremely friendly and the man was really enthusiastic about bikes he also put the parts on the bike for free with a lifetime warranty. I look forward to shopping with trek bicycles again

These guys are the best bike shop I ever dealt with in Melbourne. Had my RockShox Pikes serviced here recently and after 4 years of DH/Enduro riding, my shox never felt better. I previously had my shox serviced by other big bike shops in Hoppers - and even had them sent to Sram who stuffed things up once. These guys are friendly, and always give free advise and help. Absolute champs.

Had my kid s bike serviced for the first time but failed to have it done during the break in period, they offered it as a free service. How good was that! Great team and friendly service.

Very helpful staff. The only bike shop in the area that had a lady's extra small bike with the specifications I was looking for. Trek make great bikes!

My son wanted to buy his new bicycle 3 days ago, so had to go through the weird experience of visiting the store. Firstly, I wasn't greeted well and wandered like a clueless cloud as the "supposedly" well communicated customer service staff member didn't want to waste his 3 seconds uttering hello to me and my teenage boy.
The name of that star customer service guy was James. My son excitingly asked him about 2 bikes he liked. James didn't answer him well and instead mocked my son's questions. However soon after I quickly thought of leaving as this bad customer service didn't deserve anything more.
I really got the strong impression that he just looked down upon us and was arrogant if not retarded. His attitude was just worth despising and he was both unwelcoming and rude. I'm never turning back to that store again and I don't believe such limited-knowledge and arrogant individuals should be working in customer service of such a reputable company. I'll not recommend going to that store if you're not wanting to feel being looked upon and humiliated. Hope to not experience such pathetic customer service again.

The service from James exceeded our expectations. He took the the time to ensure we understood the differences between models and their features. His passion for mountain bike riding was evident in his sharing of knowledge about bikes trails etc. We were able to test the bike and he had it ready in no time once we had made our decision. The service and support I received at Trek Hoppers Crossing was excellent. They helped me make modifications to my Electra Townie bike so that it was disability friendly and gave it a good service. I would definitely recommend them to others.

I bought my son a new bicycle from Joss at Hoppers Crossing in September and the service I got was brilliant and even the after purchase care has been absolutely excellent. I couldn't recommend Joss & Trek Bicycles highly enough. My sons bike it brilliant and such great quality and I will be buying all our future bikes from Trek.
