Hi Guys, Order id:1135633. I booked Veg Thali worth Rs 160/- which was supposed to be delivered at REWARI on 09627 Train at 10 am IST today. The order was booked 2 days ahead. In morning, I talked to customer care and they confirmed that order would be delivered on time. Till last moment, its status remained "Cooking". The station passed but order is NOT delivered. I called at customer care. They had no answer but to say-"Sir, main samaj sakti huin aap ki pareshani. Aap ko hui asuwidha ke liye mafi chahti huin". So it is confirmed that it is a company run by CHEATERS. Their aim is to extract money via online payments and to make fool of passengers. DO NOT GET FOOLED by this company of LOOTERS. It is just a SCAM.

Further update: the so called executive called and said she could not tell any reason for non-delivery. On being asked who is her manager, she replied that there is no floor manager.

Don't take any one I was place order at ajmer railway station for food I got SMS also but I didn't get food. Plz plz plz don't book order any one.

Never do online payment. They won't deliver the food once you pay the money. My order id #2303072. I don't know who are those people giving this fraud company a 5 star rating. They don't desrve to be in operation

Vendor and menus will attract you for order. Quantity and quality is not as per the expectations. I ordered paneer masala they gave paneer with cauliflower, no gravvy etc. Chapati was full drowned with oil. Bowl size is very small so quantity is less. Don't order food from travel khana if want good quality food. order no 853258

My name is Sanjay Kumar Sinha.Dated 25/04/2016 I ordered 3 quantity of Roti with seasonal vegetable combo and One Jeera Rice.But travelkhana delivered me only One quantity of Roti with seasonal vegetable and one Jeera Rice. Price taken whole ordered meal.Please beware of this fraud.

While moving from Mumbai to Chennai my wife was much worried about food as he does not like junk food and is quite punctual to have the food on time. Hence, he was much worried about food availability as well quality but thanks to travelkhana with the help of which I could manage the food delivery on time and make him happy to enjoy the quality food even while being on journey. It is easy to place the order and make payment also as they accept online payment too. Nicely packed food parcel is provided by their delivery boy at chosen station.

this app is really amazing, i orderer food when i was travelling from mumbai in train no.12955, and i got food at surat at my seat on time, food was fresh and hot in proper packing, nice service.

Ordered my food at one station. They didn't deliver it at same station but rescheduled it for other station yet again they didn't deliver it at other station as well. Never order from this site. Worst site with worst app.

Pathetic service and equally bad food.i ws travelling from Raipur to Bhubaneswar on 26th Jan 17, ordered food to be delivered at Bilaspur. I did get the food but not what I ordered. The delivery person did not even wait to see if I am the right person, did not check my otp. He came just threw the food on my seat and went away. There was ni bill, no name of tbe restaurant who served me, no telephone number , nothing.The food was worse than road side dhaba though the price was good. I did contact travelkhana and they called back to apologize, but no resolution for the bad food. Interestingly the portal sent me a free gift coupon on3rd feb whose expiry date was 31st Jan. My suggestion is don't order from this portal if you want to eat good food, better to stay in empty stomach than eating this food.

I ordered food on 1st March 2019 for my train traveling from jammu to Bandra . I ordered for 5 people on New Delhi station but when my food didn t arrived I called call centre where executive told me that my order has been cancelled because when they called me my phone was not reachable. Now my point is how can you cancel the order if the other person call is not reachable? Don t you have sense that what will happen to the person who is in train if food is not delivered ? In train network problem will be there that s quite basic thing to understand ? Also executive hanged up the call in anger when I argued about cancellation. Worst customer service I have ever came across .

Request to my friends to never trust this platform for ordering food in train or else you will have to sleep without food .

Ordered at 5.45pm for delivery at 8.50pm, since 8.50 to 9.15 they were just giving assurance sir dont worry you will receive it soon.. my trains scheduled departure was at 9.00pm, fortunately it was delayed by 15mins yet this company could not deliver.. have to suffer as had ordered from 1 of the most irresponsible website.

Had dropped the complaint on twitter, on their own call center but no reply, this was shocking no courtesy to apologize the customer and except your mistake or where they lack in delivering me my ordered meal.

Whenever you order meals online do order from 2-3 different websites dont believe in just one as frauds like this spoil your journey as we ethically wait for them to deliver the meals instead of buying the meals from near your coach

While Travelling from Vadodara, I have ordered Kadhai Paneer, Butter Aloo Parantha, Tawa Roti Butter form Travelkhana. Food was fresh and delicious. Thanks travelkhana for solving real problem of travelers.

We gave order of 27 Jain plates but we received non jain plates. when ask they only ask for sorry & leave matter.
due to this our all plans was destroy.

on 6th & 7th Sept' 14 I had ordered for food at Anantapur & Akola, as per the order food was not provided, also for noodles in place of fork, spoon is been provided, in place of souse curd and sambar has been served, also Manchurian was not cooked properly, while receiving lunch at Akola, sweets was not served, vendor of Travel khana is saying this is not my responsibility, better you speak to Travel Khana regarding the same i had made multiple calls on customer care, but all the calls are in vein, i spoke with Imitiyaz, Himanshu, Paritosh, Shweta, except excuses they all are not able to resolve the issue, i had been committed by all of above mention names that within 48 hours i will get the reply with the regulations, but all the commitment are just to avoid the calls. I know my this feedback will also not entertain but keeping in believe of the company I am expecting the reply with the proper feedback and the action taken.

Bekar h sab very fake .. order karne ke bad call bi Kia.. and ab bi deliver ni Kia.. acha cod ki thi. Online pay me pese bi jaate.

Bad experience with travelkhana. the photo of any food is totally different from real one which you will get at time of delivery. its not fair. you should always upload photo of that food which you can deliver in reality.
ordered puri sabzi at rs 79 , i found that its quality and quantity is similar to the sadakchap thelas who sell them at rs 15 per plate and you are taking rs 79 from us.
ordered paobhaji which could not get delivered. they told me they don't have paobhaji then why travelkhana put paobhaji in the menu.
after i called the customer care, they told me to wait for 5 to 7 days for the issue to be resolved.
they don't have any alternatives for the paobhaji. we can't stay hungary and wair for travelkhana at the next station. very much unrelaible. we should have any backup plan if they denied to deliver the food. money doesn't matter but sleeping hungary because of you guys matters.
I hope you will resolve all these issues related to me as well as the loopholes otherwise we have playstores and it takes few seconds only to uninstall your app and install other app.

We ordered food from dharmavaram Junction. We waited for this junction to come.. And we called customer care many times even after reaching dharmavaram junction He said food will come please wait.. And we did not receive any food.. As we had already placed an order and hoping to get it in dharmavaram, we did not buy any other food. And we ended up sleeping empty stomach

This is 2nd time, i had very bad experience of travelkhana. I ordered food over phone, and i asked twice about the prompt delivery, as earlier food was not delivered. The executive on the phone has given assurance. we are travelling by konark express and ordered lunch at vijayawada station. Halt at this station is 20 mins. We waited 10 mins. Nobody came to deliver food. Then, we called to customer care. Again They have given assurance, confidently. We were in dilemma, whether we should wait or purchase food from platform. ultimately, we purchased food from the platform, as the lunch at pantry was closed. We received the call from the delivery boy to deliver the food, while train leaving the station.
If, we depend on travelkhana, we would be in empty stomachs.

I have ordered 5 mini thali ( order number - 1156914). They have clearly mentioned mini thali consist of 2 roti, 1 sabji, dal, rice whereas these people had provided dahi vada instead of shabji. Tell me you non sense people how a person eat roti without a sabji. Request to all passengers, please don't order food from this portal they are running business only for money not for quality services. Totally waste of money.

I ordered food for Nizamabad Station for ladies passenger in AC coach train was around 2 hours late and delivery boy delivered food on some sleeper coach and call us to receive food from sleeper coach, when i call him he start abuse language like "mai tera naukar hu kya" and after he start gaali. i already pay online, Dear Travel khana team i already pay money for food i am not asking for free food, so its my request to every people do not order food from travel khana.

I have ordered food at Rajamundry station , but the did not delivered and with out making any call to me they are claiming that they called me for conveying the cancellation. The train Janmabhumi Express is at 8.10Am. Worst service. They could have sent message. Don't trust or rely. All false commitment. In fact no stars . They are not courtesious too. Don't order. It is better use ECATERING IRCTC.

I traveled on 24sep.2016, I placed an order for Jaipur station. I got food delivery on time but the quality of food was so poor, packing was also bad and even there was no tissue paper, so cheap.

Worst experience ever!!!

Recently I was travelling to Delhi, and tragedy struck. My train was running way behind schedule and worse aspect was that I had gone on to place an order with Travel Khana. But I was indeed surprised at the level of services that were offered by them. I got a call from them when the train was about to reach my station where I had ordered food on whether I wanted to go ahead with the order. Then afterwards they called me again to understand how my experience, with them, was. They have a GPRS system in built so that they can go on to track the movement .

Very bad experience indeed. When i came accross about this site for the first time, i was really excited and ordered(order number - 201076) for the first time for my uncle and aunty who are travelling from Howrah to Bangalore. i ordered lunch which was supposed to be delivered @ Visakhapatnam Station. But that never delivered! Think of the situation, the olderly person to whom i assured a proper lunch and depending on me they didnt order @ train!! now they are in total mess!!

Its really AWFUL EXPERIENCE! I AM NEVER EVER GOING TO ORDER ANY FOOD IN TRAVELKHANA. AND WILL MAKE SURE NO ONE FALLS IN THIS TRAP.

Worst food ever. I have ordered 2 veg thali my order no. is 852099 in aligarh. In the menu veg thali is including tax costs rs 185. And you guys have mentioned that in veg thali there are sweet and jeera rice. But where as I got the thali there was no sweet & instead of jeera rice there was plane rice. The curd was stinking badly with ful of bubbles. I felt I should order food from pantry car itself. If u guys are taking money then value for it. Otherwise u will go nowhere. Will never order from u again now n deleting ur app.

HI GUYS, THIS APP IS MAKING FOOL OF US BECAUSE THEY DON'T DELIVER YOUR ORDER AT ALL. I ORDERED MY MEAL AT NEW DELHI STATION WHICH WAS NOT DELIVERED. I MAKE THEM AWARE REGARDING THIS ISSUE. THEY PROMISED ME TO DELIVER IT AT NEXT STATION THAT IS GHAZIABAD BUT FAILED TO DO SO.

If you want to enjoy your day with food you have to try travel khaana once . The best thing about these is you can easily order dood within 30 min .at your doorstep. I will never dissatisfied you while ordering food as well as food quality is awesome.

ON 28.5.2015 I WAS TRAVELLING TO BHUBANESHWAR FORM HATIA BY TRAIN NO. 18451. WE ORDER FOR VEG THALI MY ORDER NO. WAS 23877 I WAS TOLD THAT MY FOOD WILL BE DELIVERED AT ROURKELA. I WAS TOLD THAT IT WAS MAHARAJA THALI @ RS. 175/- PER THALI. THE FOOD WAS DELIVERED TO ME AT ROURKELA. WHEN WE STARTED TO HAVE OUR FOOD IT WAS A REALLY HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. THE QUALITY OF FOOD WAS MUCH BELOW THE STANDARD AS COMPARED TO PRICE WHICH WAS CHARGED. THE CHAPATIES WERE STIFF NOT EASY TO CHEW, THE TASTE AND QUALITY OF VEGETABLES WAS EQUALLY BAD. THE QUANTITY OF EACH VEGETABLE WAS SLIGHTLY MORE THAN 2 TABLE SPOON. THE RICE WAS HALF COOKED WHICH ALSO APPEARED TO HAVE BEEN COOKED IN THE AFTERNOON JUST TEMPERED WITH JEERA TO MAKE IT JEERA FRIED RICE. WE CONSUMED OUR FOOD ONLY WITH HELP OF DAL AND PICKLE, IT WAS REALLY PAINFUL TO THROW FOOD. I FEEL CHEATED BY THIS SITE. AT LEAST IN FUTURE I WILL NEVER ORDER ANY FOOD FROM YOUR SITE AND I WILL NEVER SUGGEST ANY OF MY FRIENDS ORDER FOOD ON YOUR SITE. IT IS ADVISABLE TO BUY SOME THING FROM THE RAILWAY PLATFORM THAN TO ORDER ON THIS SITE. FOR THIS RATE @ Rs. 175/- PER THALI ONE CAN GET VERY GOOD THALI IN MOST OF THE GOOD RESTAURANTS. i had booked food online while travelling train no. 12956 from sawaimadhopur to surat, food delivered on time and food quality was good and tasty, service was good, best app to book food online.

Best companion for the train journey. Got awesome food delivered at my seat. Was able to order through the app even when the net wasn't working. Keep up the good service.

I ordered food to be delivered at New Delhi railway station, 2 hours prior to the departure of the train. Even after that, food was not delivered instead of continuous reminders and calls to customer care.The person for whom the food was ordered was a diabetic and had to face so many difficulties as customer care representative refused to delivery of food at any other station.
Guys please do not order anything from this website as these are the most irresponsible people and don't follow up with any of your complaints (as this same incident has happened with me earlier also with same website)

Dear sir/madam,

This is to inform you that the food which i have ordered from akola junction with oder id - 343467 it was one of the pathetic most unhygienic i have specially commented on the comment box that i want less spicy & less oily too but nothing was upto my expectation,
the main annoying part was in biriyani instead of chicken i found big ginger pieces and chicken was like around 2cm in piece.
After eating that food i am now suffering from stomach problem as it was spicy like hell

i would suggest you all to go & taste the food you will also come to know why i am writing this to you.
i wont ever order from your site sorry

I ordered dinner to be delivered at Bhusaval Jn. and didn't receive it at all. I denied railway catering due to online order at TravelKhaana and had to sleep hungry. Customer care first told me to wait. Second time,they didn't listen my complain and third time told me to deliver food at Khandwa where train was going to reach at 11 p.m.,which was not sure as train was running late.

Travelkhana in which I meet was tasty and fresh _ I tasted it and feel like I am eating it at home. Fantastic friends.
