I have been recently visited this mega kitchen. Place were they make food for us is very clean and hygienic.Food is also very good and tasty. I like it.

This is the second time I ordered food and I didn't get chapatis, the food is gud but the services need to be taken care.. Very disappointed.

I ordered my younger brother food, food was not fresh and smelled very bad. They promised they provide fresh and good quality food,but they did not fulfil their promise and do not understand that worst food is harmful.

Frustrating experience with TravelKhana

We were group of 100 members travelling from Goa to Pune via train and selected TravelKhana to provide us fresh quality dinner at Belgaum railway station (expected train arrival @ 1930 hrs). Although, there were multiple other options available to us but we selected TravelKhana only because of its brand and hoping for fresh and best quality food in train. The requested advance payment was also paid to them almost 15 days earlier.

During our journey we called the TravelKhana vendor an hour before to provide them an update on the train location and to check if our order (Ref # 39035) is ready. Always got positive response & also, received SMSs for the same.

Surprisingly, even after the train halted at Belgaum railway station for 30 more mins for some other express train to pass, the vendor was unable to reach the railway station to deliver our order. We called the vendor multiple times to get an update but the response always was it s on the way Finally, the train left Belgaum railway station and the TravelKhana vendor could not make it on time.

The TravelKhana vendor apologized for not reaching the Belgaum railway station on time and requested us to deliver our order at next railway station. The next railway station was Ghatprabha (expected train arrival @ 2110 hrs). Only after getting his 100% assurance that the food will be delivered at next station, we all agreed to delay our dinner plans.

Again, at Ghatprabha railway station the vendor was unable to reach the station on time to deliver our order. This is extremely frustrating. To add more to the frustration, the train pantry was also closed @ 2100 hrs. TravelKhana had made our day so bad that everyone have to go to bed without having food on that evening.

This was not expected from a brand like TravelKhana. From this experience we all have decided not to deal with TravelKhana in future since they are not trust worthy and do not understand their responsibility for doing an online business and are absolutely careless.

It is the worse thing happened with this company !! I hav ordered a veg fried rice with pbm and as soon as i opened my packet to eat i jzt found somethimg creepy -A non veg dish in it !! Completely shattered !! Throwed the entire food out !! Vry bad experince !! A complete waste of money !! In short worthless !!!

I order food at gudur station and to first place i did not received complete order and to be honest Railway food is better than the food i got.

Food Delivery: 0 Star half of the time the food will not be delivered. If ti does get delivered. It will have something missing. You will have vegetables without chapatti and rice.

Customer Service: 0 Star not at all responsive. Seems like they will read the pre-written speeches with absolutely no interactions or understanding of customer need. Try calling after 9 om and most of the time phones will not be answered.

Escalation management: (MINUS) 5 star one of the worst I have witnessed. Managers will never be available; seems to be in never ending senior management meetings. Customers promised for call backs, which never happen.

My Recommendations: Order food directly to the local restaurants. We all have internet on phone or laptops with data cards, search for the local restaurant, these guys order from same place but only with 35% heavier on our pockets. We pay them to spent more on calls and hear Sorry Sir, we will try our best not to repeat in future .
These guys are out of my service list.

Travel khana is my best experience of all time. They deliver Very high quality of food with very quick service. U should try this.

I ordered my food at bhopal junction quality and packeging was very poor. They even served normal thali in place of spl veg thali.

Delivery was prompt. But the food was pathetic. Idli was atleast a day old and subzi extremely oily. A bit worse than pantry food I would say

food quality, packing was good, delivery was on time. But few items were missing as per menu. I ordered one Non veg thali by paying INR 220. There was no sweet as promised in menu, and only 2 roti was there but as per menu card 3 Roti.

Had lot of high expectations, ordered food on 18 jun 2016,order # 481397, Just before the train was about to arrive i even received a message stating the train is about to reach the station and food would be delivered and finally the train left but the order was not delivered at all because of which the whole night i had to starve.

The following day i even tried to reach out to travel khana customer grievance number but no on lifted the phone either.

Pathetic service, would never recommend anyone.

Travel khana is the best place for good food . I always prefer when i am in travelling . The quality and quantity both are awesome.!!!

I purchase food during the journey from travelkhana in train. I ordered Non veg thali. On my choice of station, food delivered by them.
Food was hygienic and best in its taste. I enjoyed my train travel and food as well while journey

I have been using this service for a year or more now. Each experience is progressively worse than the other. Getting through to them on the phone for redressal is a nightmare with multiple attempts, repeated blocks through automated messages and calls getting disconnected midway.

I placed two orders 478409 at Mathura and 478412 at Jhansi for my elderly father who is travelling alone. Not only did the food not get delivered, there was no information about it either as a result of which my poor father had to spent the entire day hungry waiting for the food. My phone call to them elicted a monosyllabilic reply -' ham aapki complaint note karenge'. No apology, no offer to recompense and no offer of food at the next available station. The local numbers they gave for Mathura and Jhansi went unanswered. Finally after four phone calls and much back and forth, the food did get delivered at Jhansi - and the quality is so very suspect that my father is loath to eat it. This is poor customer service to say the least. And harrasment untold. Not done - proprietors of Travel Khana - you need to adress these issues soon.

Pathetic Service (which is also a compliment), they don't deliver on time and if they do the delivery is the same food being sold on the Station. Also the complain department is a myth and no response will be received even post the committed time and continuous followups, if you get transferred to Manmohan and/or Ayush for your query that means you are being played... Be careful and order at your risk, if possible use other options available...

I was travelling in East Coast Exp of 13/09/2016 in AC 3 tier coach. I had placed order on line through order no 579198 on 12/09/2016. I received several messages on my cell also mail to my id about my order.
But alas, I was not served at Rajamundry station and I had to stay without any food that night. The reaction from the Customer Service team of these people were disgusting. Every time a new man takes your call and you have explain from the start. They promise to come back and only come back when they are unable to serve you. They just sent a message saying my food was not delivered and it is being cancelled. Then you get whole lot of call some other guys who are apologetic and they send you discount offer for your next order during a train journy.

Basically they consider customer who order as fool.

I like the service.... And food was also fresh and tasty.

Pathetic service. Delivering non veg in place of veg. Horrible experience. Travel khana should be shut down.

Most pathetic service, Placed an order for receiving it at Warangal Station. 3/4 of the items i have ordered were not in the delivered food, Delivery guy went away right after giving the pack so i couldn't check and even the food is not good. Will never order here and will never recommend to anyone.

Edit: I have raised an issue with the customer care they simply said will not make it happen next time. People don't order from here you will get disappointed for sure.

Customer executives treat their customers very badly. No logical explanation is given on any question. Also, if asked about the discount coupons received, will say this is not applicable. Is this a scam, travel Khana??

I have placed order ID 2080364 for Bhopal junction and delivered food quality was very poor which was smelling & seems packed long back & same food was selling by local bhojnalya at just 60 Rupees.

Worse Worse Worse company for ordering food from here. They will never deliver the food apart from that you need to call 100 times to get connected with there customer care and the there team will keep lie that they will call back after 2 mins with the details and will never turned back. Don't ever think to order from here else you will be hungry on the all trip.

i have booked two order having id-1119329 and id-1119801.After taking money by online they havent deliver food and still 7 days they are also not refunding the amount.THey cheating people in the name of food.
Dont trust them they will cheat you after taking money

I ordered veg biryani and aalu parantha..Dis was the first time I ordered from travel khana. Though I was traveling alone I ordered two things to be on safer side but to my surprise veg biryani was with raita which was horrible..It was smelling
And aalu parantha was burnt
I registered a complaint with a pic of dat parantha..Al dey have is a apology mail
So I don't think nebody should risk their life by ordering food from here.

During my journey with family, I tried TravelKhana for the first time and ordered Special Thali. I was astonished by the delivery service they provided at Allahabad Junction and the Thali was King size with great taste. Thank you Travelkhana. You are delivering a great service. :-)

The best part I liked about them is the unbeatable prices and the quality of food they have provided, which actually made my journey merrier and enjoyable. Ordered food on train 22610 Coimbatore to Mangalore Intercity express at Kannur.
Overall the food was good, but I have few suggestions.I ordered a mini veg thali.
1.The raitha was very watery and spilling on my pants.It could be made more thick
2.The peda and pickle packets were difficult to open.Packing can be improved.

Quality is good but Quantity is very less. Very Expensive. They charge Rs.510/- for 3 meals. Either they should reduce their rate or should increase the quantity

Last time when I came back from Patna to Delhi through train, i found my journey was awesome. I ordered Indian thali, Chinese thali and more for my full journey. This food delivery service is amazing and customers are having good response to it.
I ordered three time meal, every time delivery of it was on time as it was mentioned.
I got food on my seat and I felt myself like at home. I would love to recommend it to other travelers as well.

People who don't want to buy railway food during the time of travelling, travel khana is best for them. You can book your food over the app or website. You can choose which station you want to take your food. It is better if you choose junction station. Travel khana's service is good other food service and also better than any other food service. You can book you food in during the time of traveling.

It was worst experience. They did not deliver on time. I booked meal in the morning for 6 PM. We were at the source station only and the train departed at 7:30 but the food was not delivered I was calling them since 6PM and they were assuring that food will be delivered. They made me dependent on them but they did not deliver the food... My daughter was 5 years old and anyone can expect the difficulty faced by us.

iresponsive people with a vey poor management strategy, who does not understand the the gravity of being hungry while on travel. My wife and kids are been put hungry due to missmanagement of these people. The concept is good but unfortunately on the hands of wrong people. Hope they can understand but... by that time the disaster could have alredy happen.
