Found the coarse very intresting with brilliant guidense from our tutor tommy farrel realy helped me through it 10 out 10

I have waited months for them to pay my badge and every week they say I'm priority and now my business link has expired and they wont answer the phone to me. Disgraceful when all I wanna do is work the best thing with this company is the tutor. The business is not somewhere I will tell my mates unless they do as they promised

I recently did the course in manchester for 10 days one week it was Pde, customer service L1, L2. My tutor was Maria. The Sia security guarding trainer imran was a really good trainer, he made the class fun and also quite informative so i was able to learn properly. Thanks to all the team at TSl

I have recently completed the Sia Door Supervisor course in Sunderland with Kevin Griffiths I thoroughly enjoyed the course and Kevin absolutely brilliant and took his time to get to know everyone and I have gained some great knowledge about the security industry, I would highly recommend this course if your looking to gain employment with the security industry.

I did the course last year and the whole process was very easy for start to finish as both the company and my tutor Jason Hall was very supportive and helpful every step of the process Jason is extremely knowledgeable and extremely respectful and helpful and makes training both easy and fun and will make you test ready in no time

Absolute joke! I finished my level 2 security course October 2016 and I have tried on multiple occasions to get my sia badge from them only to find out that they have lost paperwork I needed to get my sia badge! Even to this day I'm still going in circles with them with my paperwork. Absolute waste of time, would not recommend to anybody.

I really enjoyed the course, I learnt a lot of new knowledge due to the high standard of tutoring from Kevin Griffiths and would recommend to anyone.

I completed my sia course in October last year and still have not received any funding which I find disgusting I have phoned on numerous occasions only to be told lie after lie. I am seeking legal advice through the consumer advisory service if this matter is not resolved shortly I am having to turn down employment due to no badges been received absolute disgrace.

Absolutely belting course, Kev Griffith's was my tutor an he was sound as a pound and always very clear and informative, didn't even feel like I was in a classroom was just a top laugh. No one got left behind from the minibus and they made sure we all got there. The staff were top knotch and always helpful. Gonna miss all my coursemates as they were all brill. I have now received confirmation that my SIA licence has been granted and paid for. I have also given this company 1 more star as they have delivered as promised (A paid for license) but after alot of delays in the administration side of things.

Training Strategies has got good front line members of staff such as Imran who taught is the Security contents in the second week.

The administration of TSL is poor and needs improvement. Better communication between clients and TSL is needed. The communication should be more effective and efficient without having to pester/ring TSL every other week.

I am grateful for their payment of the SIA licence but that's what they promised on completion of their course and they have done as advertised.

If you are in no rush to get your badge for free TSL is the able to deliver that. Please don't have any higher expectations other than your time will be costly instead of paying for the course and licence.

This company is an absolute shambles. Post completion of the course I received 1 certificate instead of the 5. I spoke to the company on 3 separate occasions and was told the certificates would be on there way. Still nothing! My first call was in the first weeks of January.

Still no certificates. Tried calling but no answer. They only pickup option 1 (Book a place on a course)

The administration at Training Strategies is disgraceful and an extremely poor customer service.

Would love to rate it 0 but I am unable to.
Avoid this company at all costs. The course might be free but the time wasted is costly.

Edit- 1st December. Intial review was 3 now 2.

The company and the way it handles its paperwork is shocking. We are literally fed the answers by tutors and told what we should write in order for us to complete the course and for Training Strategies to gain their funds.

We have also filled in various paperwork meant for tutors, essentially doing their jobs (unpaid!).
Why have these tutors when they don't even give you advice or feedback about whether your initial and end skills have improved.

This company just does the bare minimum to get as much funding from the EU social fund without anyone batting an eyelid.

I have completed week 1 of 2 of the SIA Course with Lynn Connolly in Blackburn.

Week 1 went by fairly quickly and well explained. Lynn was great as a tutor and really answered any questions that the class may have had. She was full of energy and explained things loudly and clearly. Great person full of energy :)

My reason for rating 3 stars is because I am going to see how week 2 and the post course experience pans out. I have read the other reviews about Training Strategies mentioning the long delays and shady behaviour after completion so I will be updating this review in due course.

So far so good I hope this good experience runs throughout and post course.

Absolute disgrace this tsl done my badge over a year ago now got a job had to pay my badge myself out of my wages and still waiting for them to refund me my money.i have phoned them up over 15 times,been asked twice for my bank details and told it will be put in my bank and nothing.guys if you can do your training eles were I suggest you do.oh and it wouldn't even be 1 star review. the one in town liverpool.

The pace was just right and it covered everything someone heading into the security industry would need. Edit 24/10: They've still not replied to my email and I even put in a formal complaint which they state on the website that they will promise to follow up on but they haven't. I'll be looking at taking legal action so it may be worth replying to all emails from all learners Training Strategies!

Edit 03/09: they tell me to email or call them and I have done so many times and they haven't replied to my emails or picked up the phone. Maybe check your inbox Training Strategies and reply to all customer emails.

Like most people's experience, I have been met with silence when trying to contact this poor excuse for a training company over the phone and email. I can no longer afford to pay for my license or First Aid qualification which is required from April and I did my course in January. I just want to work and earn a living and the people who run this company do not deserve jobs if this is how they treat customers.

These scammers do not deserve to be in business, unlike so many great organisations who have unfortunately gone into liquidation.

They haven't even sent me my certificate after I passed the course. Nothing but lies. I am so disappointed.

The course i was on was run by Jason Hall and I cant fault the delivery of the course at all I really enjoyed the course itself he was very knowledgeable and the information I was taught gave pass marks on my tests better than I had imagined id get id highly recommended Jason to anybody

The bad bits and why its not a 5 star falls down to the company or maybe the people im dealing with im still waiting on payment for a licence I applied for in September its now 10th of November I was told 3 different waiting times on 3 different occasions 3 to 4 weeks then 4 to 5 weeks and now 6 to 8 weeks that I have waited for and it just seems like nobody wants to pay for the licence ive missed out on jobs I had lined up because the licenced wasn't payed for when I was told it would be personally I feel like I'm being fobed off passed piller to post because nobody wants to do their job it has come to a point where I have had to cancel the business link so another company can pay for a separate licence from a different course for door supervisor because I have give up waiting for my security guarding licence to be payed for

In all honesty the course itself with Jason was superb and well presented so your tutors are the only thing not getting you a completely bad review but when it comes to the payments of licences and your what is essentially an after sales team are the most shocking and rude I have ever experienced but as u did I little digging this seems to be a running trend rude customer service from the office not tutors and non payments of peoples licences for a company with links to government contracts I honesty feel you should be reviewed because this is peoples lives you are putting on hold and is frankly unacceptable

Recently attended an SIA course with Jon Velluci. Course was very informative and professional, Jon was a great instructor and made it enjoyable to learn the whole course.
Would definitely recommend this course to any one interested in an SIA course.

So far I m sceptical due to having done one of these courses in the past and been told I wasn t able get my badge through the company how ever this is a different company and mr Tommy farrell was great reassured us all and made us all feel at ease, I will be doing another review once I get my badge but thanks again to Tommy what a cracking guy!!

My tutor was kevin griffiths and he was definitely the best one i could of got, ive learned at a exceptional rate while at a relaxed pace and are happy to continue this line of industry and completely recommend it

I have a number of mutual clients that completed a SIA course, many issues with them including loosing completed exams, none of these clients are anyway near even applying for their badges never mind getting them. Best to avoid.

Enjoyed my training with the trainer Lynn Connolly. Very professional and easily understandable. Clear communication and helpful. All learners made to feel included in the course.

I completed the course and got my SIA qualification but Training Strategies Limited kept the government funding for themselves instead of me getting my license and then being able to get a job. On the day we we did are recorded exam the training instructor didn't have a passport and was going abroad that weekend so instead of training the class he spent the day on the phone ordering a new passport. It's not a company it's a scam the funding meant to get people into work the company keeps as profit. The majority of the reviews are about how TSL has taken government funding to get people an SIA badge and get them into work but the company hasnt funded the license or got anyone in work. They're using government funding to profit the company. CLOSE TSL IT IS A SCAM

Recently completed a Sia Security Course with this company, the course lasted two weeks and in all honesty I had a blast. It was a bit hectic the first day but once everything was sorted it was a breeze.

I had a great tutor, his name was John Vallucci, he was strict but was easy going, if you showed respect to his terms. His teachings was very well received often testing the class on the spot, which helped to keep information stored.

Met a few great people in this class also, I hope for the best with all of them.

Also they chose a great venue to do the course, Stockwell Community Centre, the staff there were very friendly and welcoming.

Having said all of that I did have an issue with results, were everyone had supposedly received their results, I had not. I got really annoyed and contacted all those relevant, eventually it was sorted, a lovely lady called Lucy Turner called an gave me the good news and now waiting to complete my application.

I've had time to rethink my whole experience with Training Strategies and with all honesty with all this Covid-19 madness going around it's was a great and fast experience.

Go ahead a study with them. I'm sure you will pass.

Shame I can t put 5 stars, has the course was great and the tutor Don Hutchinson was fab.. learned a few new stuff. Only let down is the BS I ve been getting when I ring up my SIA badge will be paid for this week, next week, next few week.. now was on the phone today and say I ll be paid when they have the funding for it. Sick of the lies and my application is due too expire soon. Lost out on two jobs so far and probs will be a third if they can t hold on till my badge is paid for.

Kevin Griffiths has gave me a lot of experience and is a brilliant teacher, he has gave me more drive in ma life to score th goals I've set out to do, excellent course and tutor, and have already recommended friends and family to follow.

I have recently completed my SIA Course with Kevin Griffin. I absolutely recommend this course and have enjoyed it very much. For my SIA course, everything was well organised. Very structured, communication with both the tutor and queries with office was great and the teaching was simple and effective.

Clear, concise learning. Our tutor; Dave Rowland, devised an easily intelligible class with methods which aided learning quickly & effectively. And utilised personal anecdotes to help us to understand and remember key information.

This company is not professional completed my course passed in November 2020 and its now March 2021 still haven't received certificate or anything when phoning the company they keep saying call back another time this is not fair on people who are waiting to work

Ive been on the sia coarse and it has been very interesting . Ive learned alot the tutors have been very clear and helpfull. Ive enjoyed the coarse and i have learned alot about security and the differant types i highly recomened the coarse to anyone that wants to do the sia coarse as the tutors are very good and speak very clearly and explain everything in detail so you can understand them .

I have done my security course in Warrington and it was Nice clean and professional environment to learn. Coaches were great especially my coach IMRAN was very helpfull and always ready to help. Highly recommended.

I did a course with Jason Hall as my trainer he is absolutely AMAZING he makes sure you understand everything he is teaching you and he is always willing to help he is a great guy!! Lucy Turner was my go to and she also is great she does her best to get what you need and she is always willing to help and communicate with any questions or queries you may have . I live in Birmingham saw what thought was fantastic opportunity after a few hiccups up. And many emails and phone calls am happy to say I finally have my badge and am able to work. Big thanks to John, Kevin and illeen who are fantastic tutors.it's been a much longer process than was promised but after 5 months like I said I do now have my badge.

After doing the security training for an SIA badge twice now I can honestly say with having Jason Hall as the trainer it made it so much more fun. Especially when he gets into character. He also got me work after passing the training and still keeps in contact with me now. Also Lucy Turner was always available when needed. Fantastic company. Highly recommended.

I would defo recommend this to anyone who is interested in getting their sia badge. The tutor I had was fantastic and everyday was a laugh, whilst learning everything we need to know. Great course and I'm so happy I decided to do it.

Absolute scam, be prepared for months of calling before you get any chance of an SIA badge. They're just making money off us and stealing government funding. AVOID AT ALL COSTS

I'm happy to say I passed my SIA exams after an amazing training from TSL last month in Newcastle. The facilitator (John) was quite excellent and knowledgeable in 'dishing' out the stuffs, and everything about the course contents. The venues were easily accessible, neat and very conducive for learning. I must also thank Lucy Turner for a superb administrative in enrolling me for the training. TSL is well recommended!!

Maria is a very good teacher she helps you when you need it her classes are not like other classes I have been to. It's calm and easy to get on with your work and everyone just gets stuck in. Need more classes like Marias class

This course has been absolutely amazing, the tutor was suberb, could'nt ask for a better tutor than kevin griffiths, iv learned so much on this sia training course, my communication skills have improved alot been on this course, best course iv been on since my college education, the group was so layed back and a cracking laugh, the people i met and also the tutor was so helpful on the time i sent spent on this course, i would recommend anyone to come on this course.

I started a course in Blackpool in early December and after Christmas we resumed the training. Our tutor Andy D was exceptional in his teacher and how he helped people to understand questions individually. So far I would recommend this to anyone looking for new opportunities and to get started in lines of work within the security industry. It s been just less than a month and I have already received my certificates from the training. I am currently waiting on my licence being paid and processed and arriving to finalise the entirety of the process but so far it s been a Dealt with and conducted professionally and currently would refer the course to people I know will be interested.
