apsoluity dissapointed me and 3 of my family members attended SIA course October 15th 2019 till 5th November 2019 and passed on all exams thanks to Bob Gray and was told to wait for funding as it would be paid by Jan 11th 2020 and its now feb 11th 2020 and still waiting on funding phoned up about 5 times and still told to wait and all 4 of us have lost out on a number of jobs because we still dont have our badges yet every time i phone all i get is we are still waiting on funding.

Fantastic course really enjoyed it Tony was great and very helpful and paicent with all of us would defo reccomend to anyone looking to become a door supervisor

I went on a Sia Course with Jason Hall as my instructor back in September 2020. He has amazing teaching skills. I was a very shy student at the beginning of the course as I did not know anyone, he helped build my confidence. He has crazy way of teaching but in a good way with psycho J. Even though we was social distancing we could still do role plays which made it better.

Well done training strategies

Hi I've red the review answers so I know what your responses will be that it's 6-8 weeks to receive badge or application is not completed. I started my SIA course beginning of December 2019. Half of our class couldn't complete until 10th January 2020 due to too many people on the course for the practical. I passed all my exams as I found out 5th February 2020. I accepted the SIA link. Did application on sia website and submitted it. I went to post office as it stated on SIA Website. Post office say they can't accept my ID or do my photo until payment is made.
APPLICATION WILL NOT BEGIN UNTIL TSL PAY. I am checking my application on the SIA website daily.
Payment still isnt done. This means my standard DBS can't be started by sia and the estimated time for sia to do checks and bage is 20 days. Hubby did his with a different provider and had his badge in 3 and a half Weeks from exam results.
We had 4 tutors, hotel kept changing and nobody knew what was going on.
5* to the tutors tho they did an amazing job with so many of us to deal with. One woman in the office was really helpful and polite the other woman was no use and pretty rude trying to get information from. My friend is still waiting for the date for the security course as she couldn't do the practical part.
Jane, Donovan and Gareth were amazing tutors but John (American) was only there Monday and Tuesday of third week. He also threatened to walk out on the Wednesday as too many of us were there for the practical which wasn't our fault

i did my course on Nov 23rd and still haven't received payment on my badge, i ring them weekly for updates and most of the time dont get an answer, the last call i placed on the 18th i was told the payment would be done within 10 days, yet here i am with no payment done ive rang twice today and no answer. Before this i was told by a tutor what to click when filling the SIA application just to be told a month later that ive filled it in wrong. Been nothing but a bad experience throughout and the lack of communication is astonishing.

Edit 1- Have rang the last 2 wednesdays in a row just to be told they will call me back, and i get nothing, no call text or email, they tell me dont hesitate to ring but when i do my calls arent answered or im fed the same information every single time. you cannot tell someone the issue will be resolved in 10 days and a month later youre still in the same situation with 0 communication.

I did my SIA course. My tutor was David Rowland.I highly recommend him.His previous experience and knowledge in security is extensive. He has made the course fun and easy to understand. I have come away from the course with a better understanding of security and feel confident in in passing my exam.Thankyou David

Training strategies is a very bogus company so the public should be mindful of them.
Complete disgraced, waste of time, energy and resources. I strongly advised the public to stay away from them. Complete failure,not consistent, deceptions. Shambles.

Completed a management level 3 apprenticeship with Training Strategies. My assessor was brilliant and really approachable. They were very flexible with my job to help it fit around me and my employer. Can t thank everyone enough for the help and would definitely recommend to anyone.

Just finished the course in Sunderland with Kevin Griffith's, he is verry knowledgeable about the security industry, was able to answer all questions I had for him. I am extremely confident now going foreward.

The training people was great it was a three week course and I enjoyed every day of it the only pain was getting up early and getting to town but once there it was great shame it finished as it went very quickly the three weeks would recommend this course for anyone 100 per cent got on well with trainers and trainees.

Training Strategies are very good and welcoming Bob Gray the tutor teaches in an affective way which helps when doing exams

I had free SIA course in Brixton and I passed it thanks God. It was informative and easy to understand, and thanks to our instructor Imran for all his support and keeping me focused.

Full security training well delivered and recieved in a covid safe group. I recommend this course as it is a gateway to a new career for many. Our Tutor Mick Stott was excellent and made sure we all had the knowledge to pass the exam.

Did a Level 2 Business Admin Course with this establishment and I loved every minute of it. Pauline was amazing and she was always there when I needed help or guidance. I haven't enjoyed studying before Training Strategies as I was able to work in my own time and not feel rushed or pressured as I was working full time as well. 100% recommend them for anyone who is looking for a change or just to expand their horizon as my course has helped me in my current job and has opened the door for higher courses if I wish.

Hi just want to say that SIA course was amazing and enjoyable Imran out tutor was really nice guy he teache us lots of experience from his past jobs I reccomend everyone to go to this SIA .

Really cant fault the training jason hall was a very good trainer it's just a shame about communication I understand that there were issues due to the lockdown but if people in the office were working from home the was no excuse for a delay in communication for 3 months of me sending an email to getting a reply and having problems with the website where i have not got a refund as i paid for the badge myself but other than that it was decent training

I enjoyed my time at the Brixton venue in Lambeth Hall, the course was well conducted by my instructor at the time Imran. He was very well informed and showed great professionalism. I am now waiting for my SIA badge.

For anyone who still needs their licence payed for or reimbursed, you will have to threaten and potentially take them to small claims court.

I completed the course 7 months ago, and have just been reimbursed. They refunded me the exact same day I sent them a letter before claim.

They blamed COVID-19 for lack of funds and a "disruption to the paying process", but some reviews on here are over 2 years old and they've had the exact same experience as me.

Clearly, they're doing something shady, hence why they don't want any legal trouble.

Nightmare to deal with from an employer's point of view. Hold on to the government grants for as long as possible before paying them to the businesses to which they are owed.

Highly recommended. Really enjoyed throughout the course. I have been amazed by the work of Kevin Griffiths the tutor who shared his priceless experience. Nothing to add but just five stars.

Was easily one of the best courses I've attended tutors were very clear in communication and made the learning very easy which enabled me to pass the course

mixed bag really.....the course was brilliant, same with the teachers and some of the staff at training strategies. my only issue with them is how long it takes them to do anything once you complete the course as we are told one thing about when licences will be paid etc and then when the dates change they wont tell you or keep you informed you have to claw the information out of them.....if anyone outside of option 4 when you call them picked up for once....am angry due to the fact that they told us are licences would be done and ready before Christmas and its now January and i have had to turn down 3 job offers and lost a job due to them not paying for the licence till now instead of when they said. so in all good company, great team and leachers but don't trust them when they say your licence will be paid by xxx date as it wont be and you will have to pull teeth for them to tell you ANYTHING

Three weeks of training absoulty worth it. Jason Hall was my Tutor very professional and explained everthing in detail. Lessons were very productive and I learnt something new everyday. Jasons tutoring made the exam very easy and I was very confident through out all three papers. now that I've been granted my sia licence I'd like to thank training staregies for making that possbile. and Jason Hall for the training and tutoring provide prior the exams. Will definitely reccomad this company.

What an absolute con total lieing waste of space company gets funding for sia badges and then doesn't pay out more like keeps the money

Enjoyable course. They paid badge after a lot of months waiting and why Ive only gave it 4 stars but it was all free to me and they lined up some potential employers.

I undertook an SIA training course through Training Strategies, tutored by Dave Rowland. It was an informative and enjoyable experience with a fantastic tutor. I m grateful for the opportunity that Training Strategies afforded the class and the further opportunities that the qualifications might lead to. The whole class was friendly, the atmosphere was a fantastic learning environment and the teaching was put forward at a reasonable and accessible pace. I couldn t recommend Training Strategies more, nor could I further recommend Dave Rowland as a tutor.

The SIA course I attended in Stockwell was well run. The work was easy to understand because our tutor Imran taught at he's best. I Passed my exam, received my badge quite quickly after I'd done what was necessary. I also attended a interview set up by Training Strategies which ended in full time employment which was great.... Definitely would recommend.. You get out what you put in.... Don't pass up the opportunity

The new management of Training Strategies managed to resolve an outstanding matter from 2018 today, therefore on behalf of my organisation I happily update my review to reflect their sincere efforts to correct the situation. I am happy to state that it has been fully and quickly resolved. As an apology they also kindly made a donation to our small charity which we will use to support local children in need over christmas, that gesture was amazing and more than we could have asked for.

Great tutor , however they are let down by the company s lack of organisation on the course.
Delay after delay .. 2 weeks quickly turned into 4 weeks because of days off and inconsistency.

Company is a scam and they don't reply to my emails anymore it has been 12 weeks since i have passed my sia course. they are not bothered about me and they don't care anymore because they are getting paid for they jobs. They have been paid from the government towards my badge but i don't know why they are taking time with my payment just pay for my badge am loosing jobs out here i had enough with the lies.

The customer service course was fun and interesting. Jason Hall the tutor made the classes really enjoyable and he was very knowledgeable about the things he was talking about.

I have gained a lot of experience and relevant skills for a job in the security industry. My tutor was Kevin Griffith and he was very helpful and amazing.

Highly recommended. The tutor; imran is very knowledgeable and experienced within this sector. Learnt alot from him and got a wider understanding of how this sector works in the real world.

Great course the tutor Tommy was very professional polite and patient with me. A+

wouldnt even bother with this company , the customer service people are great and do try to help, but a 10 day sia course has took over 9 months. The course did take 10 days but after that i had to do a resit as problems with paper work 2 months pass and another resit as paper work problems again , just befor crimbo i finally get the news i past yet nearly 3 months past and no payment has been made so cannot send of for my badge. I costantly ring and get diffrent answer to why i havent been paid , the manager Barry doesnt even reply to emails the only time he did and he asked me to ring he didnt even talk to me he got another staff member. This company is a joke and hopfully going down a legal routie they might just pay up

Did an SIA course with TSL and Dave Rowland in November 2020, he had great communication with the class and encouraged everyone to get involved. Everything was covered concisely and he was happy to be asked any question, giving plenty of time with answers, insuring that everyone understood before moving on. He s an enjoyable person to talk to and has a vast knowledge and experience to share. Great course.

Just finished a security course. My tutor was Kevin griffin. He kept the lessons fun and interesting. The powerpoint shown funny videos. Definitely recommend.

Excellent course would definitely recommend it Kevin Griffiths is and excellent tutor learned all I wanted to learn from the course.

I did my course back in May - June of last year, got my course results updated on the SIA website in January of this year and had to pay for it myself as the company wouldn't contact me.

I haven't even recieved my certificate yet, bit of a let down and I'm out of pocket for a free course, as far as I know some of the other lads still haven't got their qualification or badge.

Honestly it's a chore to get your badge with constantly being told that a manager will call you tomorrow and that never comes, or the manager is busy when you need to speak to them.

Still waiting on them to call me back.

Had a great experience, Jane was a great tutor for the customer service, and Tony was great at the SIA training. Highly recommend this team

You attend the training, pass the course, send off your details from the post office, Tommy doesn't release the funding for the SIA badge and the qualification expires within 6 months. Its a scam Tommy is useless and has no idea what he's talking on the final day of the course he didn't do anything with the class he spent the whole day on the phone trying to order an emergency passport so he can spend the money that's meant to go on your SIA badge to get you back in work on his holiday abroad. Don't waste your time it's a scam

Just avoid that's all said i done my.course February still waiting for my badge and I rang up they said they sort within a week that was a month ago

I thought the course was very enjoyable and learnt a lot of new things, tony who taught us explained everything clear so we all understood it. and i feel i know everything to past the final test. Tony is a very patient and a great teacher. I learnt alot from him in this small space of time. I would reccomend anybody wanting to do a SIA course you should do it with Tony Pearce!

She's friendly, speaks too you not at you, a makes time to help if you don't understand or miss heard something. I shall be finishing this course, which I wasn't 100% i could do

Lynn Connolly was really supportive. Had me engaged from the get go. Made the whole course really understandable with step by step guidance and 1 to 1 support on every step of the qualifications. Feedback on my work was put in a possitive and constructive way and she was really friendly and funny but remained professional. Nothing was too much hassle for her. Great training company and Lynn is testament to this. Would highly recommend. 5 stars all the way.

I got my SIA qualification which is valid for 6months. After completing the qualification and sending off the details from the post office. I rang TSL about the funding 3 times and my work coach rang each time I was told they would send out the funding within 6 weeks they said this until the qualification expired. The government funding to get people into work TSL keep as profit. It is not a company it is a scam. Even though I did the work and completed the qualification I did not get my license and am still out of work. Company should be closed down or at least have to give the funding back. I did the training course in Liverpool city centre

AVOIDDDDDDDD.....passed my exams for sia training 5 months ago and shocker they still have not sent any information about getting my license. Not just me I've been in contact with alot of lads from my class on the same course and it's the same with them aswell. The contact centre staff just constantly lie, how I know is because everytime I ring I call twice and ask the same question and get a different answer. GO WITH ANOTHER TRAINING COMPANY AND AVOID THIS ONE. One of the lads from my course is taking legal action it's that bad...the trainers were fantastic but cant help but feel we have been scammed.

I went on the training course and my tutor was Jason Hall who was professional, informative and straight to the point which I personally appreciated.

I received my SIA badge in August it took a little while due to the current situation but having a good dialogue with Lucy Turner who was my contact at training strategies she assured me I received my badge which I did.

I'd recommend you doing your badge with this company.

Finished our course on april 2nd, we were told two weeks for our results and they took almost 5, i wasnt informed i had to keep chasing it up. Once they eventually gave the buisness link for the SIA to send my application off, i was told it would be paid for around 4-7 weeks.. yet here i am still coming up to august with no word on anythkng. Ive lost my 2 offers of security employment now as it has taken so long and im still in the dark. Go through NGTC or just pay for your badge if you want to get it.
