Traders Hotels Review

Whether staying in Singapore or KL, I wouldn't dream of staying anywhere else other than Shangri La, Traders or Jen.

Room was wonderful. Especially, concierge provided us smile, relief and best service.

Sweet and neat, but pay attention to the bills for everything you pay

Nice view u can enjoy twin tower from ur room window, very friendly receptionists, nice pool, in front of me hotel is klcc garden u can have little walk or jogging

Hotel traffic will be a bit more difficult (if you are taking the subway to KLCC, it is recommended to wait for the shuttle bus or Grab, because the park is not suitable for towing luggage), a short distance from the shopping center, and all the surrounding shops are closed at night. It will be difficult to buy, especially the nearest convenience store is far away, and it is more convenient to go out in the evening to take the Grab.
The internal facilities are ordinary, the basic equipment is needed, but it seems that it is not a five-star rating (for example, the TV signal is not clear), the elevator in the lobby is shared with the evening skybar (open bar on the top floor), if it is late Coming back may be strange or uncomfortable because of the need to share with the people who go to the hotel.
The night view is great, it is the biggest highlight, you can watch Twin Tower sleep.

Great location,cannot fault the view if you book a twin towers room.
Walking distance to some great shopping centers,all which can be accessed undercover.
A little bit tired,could do with a bit of an update,in some areas.
Staff friendly and helpful.
Upstairs SkyBar not worth it,prices for drinks are a rip off,we know alcohol is pricey in KL,but if hotels want people to use there facilities they need to be realistic with pricing.
Also children in the bar area is not the greatest look.
And pouring of a glass of wine,volume is ludicrous,considering prices.

Nice Hotel, good amenities. Due to Ramadan a bit out of order due to very last groups for dinner...

Spacious and clean room, using Loccitane products, but the light in the room is quite dim. Walkable distance to KLCC. But quite a distance if walk to nearest LRT station.

32 or 34 floor was a skybar. The view was beautiful on petronasy

Love this place. The hotel room's view of klcc is amazing!

The noise from the Sky Bar is a no go! The room view was very nice the staff also. The furniture is slowly coming in the years, wifi works well. The executive lounge is open until 11:00 pm, but if you arrive at 10:00 pm you have the impression that you are disturbed. The breakfast room on the 5th floor conveys the impression of a waiting hall. Nevertheless, the hotel is good for the location at the petronas towers and the price.

Location 5* KLCC park is right in front - go for a walk or a jog anytime
A short walk to Suria KLCC and Pavilion, or Bukit Bintang , Lot 10.

A variety of restaurants and cafes everywhere you turn. One plus point, the hotel operates a cafe right outside a convenient meeting point and a restung spot for walkers and joggers - coffee, tea, juices and snacks at a reasonable price ! Amazing.

And they have a clock - an actual clock in the room, with a clock face not a digital one, see photo.

Started very well when i got a room upgrade for room with park/towers view at check in!

Sky Bar it's an amazing rooftop bar and the breakfast was full of options! Really enjoyed the whole experience!

Arrived around 2pm, dropped off family and luggage at lobby. Had to drive quite far for basement parking. Arrived at 32nd floor for check-in and was warmly greeted by the staff. Check in was attended by Ms Sharry and quickly completed, thank you. Room was spacious, clear view of the twin towers. Was surprised by the rose petals and swan deco in the room. Later that night had a magnificent view of the Merdeka fireworks. Had breakfast at the lounge. Was attended by Mr Jack. Breakfast at the lounge was delicious, wide variety was available. Especially loved the waffles. Managed to squeeze in a morning swim with the young one, pool area was a bit cold, changing room was clean. Check-out was quick as well. Had some drinks at the lounge before checking out. Overall, thank you for a great Merdeka weekend getaway.

In short,

My last stay was a total disappointment :

1) One of the days after a general room cleaning, I realized that the house keeper left behind the whole tray of toilet spray cleaners and brushes in the toilet and I had to disgustingly remove the tray outside the room , MYSELF!

2) House keeper did not replenish small towel, loafers and alot of those bathroom amenities were not properly replenished!

3) bottled water wasn't replenished at times!

It s a typical convention hotel but there are better options in the area.

A comfortable stay with good selection at breakfast. Service staff are excellent in welcoming and being helpful.

Room is starting to get dated. The TV and phone can be upgraded.

The hotel stayed without breakfast and the price was expensive.

overall clean & comfortable hotel - best aspect is it's just next to KLCC. thanks for recognizing my membership after all these years, would've loved to stay more often if not for the perennial traffic jam in the area. Special mention to Addyliza who left a heart-warming personalized note asking for feedback & also heart-felt wish - good to read after a hard day's work. noticed breakfast quality has slid over the years... but still too much to eat for breakfast.. overall F&B quality slid over the yrs.

Good experience but I felt a tad cramped in the hotel room - twin towers view King. Probably the smallest hotel room I have ever been in.

The staff always make me feel welcome! It s almost my second home when I come to KL

Nice location and easy to find parking. Convenient for attend events near KLCC. Comfy stay and quite enviroment.

Since my last visit, quality of the food has gone down tremendously. Variety of food in dinner buffet is much less and quality is very very disappointing. My colleague ordered room service and it was very slow. When I went to SkyBar, speed of service was excrutiatingly slow.
Check in procedure on ground floor very messy. Too noisy and too crowded
Some positives: laundry was efficient and getting a taxi was handled well.

Always enjoy my stay here. Although it does seem to have gone slightly down hill in the last few years, only slightly though. You will not be disappointed

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the hotel . The hotel is ideally located with amazing views of the towers. Even better than the views is the staff . They are very helpful and accommodating and everyone makes you feel welcome . The manager Sina definitely deserves a medal! He is simply fantastic!! He was always around attending to the guests and make everyone feel special. We would highly recommend this hotel .

The bar itself is pretty average but it's worth visiting just for the view of the Petronas Towers at night

A true sample of excellent hospitality! Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed by the staffs. They were efficient too. And the room was comfortable in every way. Most importantly, free shuttle is provided to KLCC. I will certainly be staying here again.

I'm a student at Universiti Tenaga Nasional (UNITEN), Putrajaya. Usually I will make a "Me Time" for every semester . I already tried Mandarin Oriental hotel, Grand Hyatt hotel, also Four Season hotel, and for this semester (new semester) I decided to go to Traders hotel.
What make me impressed about Traders hotel was, I pay for room ,breakfast and stunning KLCC view from my room twice cheaper than others hotel. It was much convenient for elite students like me to stay at your hotel rather than paying much money for room and breakfast excluded.
What I like the most was when I make a in-room dining service.
Your staff really care about the service to the customers. Ordered for dinner in my room at the first night, i thought it gonna be the same like other hotel, NO IT'S NOT SAME LIKE OTHERS. What make you different than others was how you treat us (customers) well, one of the in room service staff who delivered my dish treat me like i was one of his family.
Overall the room, breakfast, buggy service to KLCC, in-room service and all is the best, 10 star for you.

I'm looking forward to come back again to Trader's hotel and try the bigger room (KLCC view suite) maybe on June -July.

The hotel is amazing, the attention, the buffet great! The only thing that we did not like and we have not been able to use is the pool because it is not outdoors and you die of heat there. In the evening they play music like in a nightclub and you can not have a quiet drink, you cram of people and between the music is very high-heat-postureo maximum one 0. Not to mention the noise, as you touch a plant higher than 29 I assure you that you will not sleep, or rather you will sleep at 3: 00am which is when it closes.

Hotel very well located, nice view from the bar and some rooms on the petronas towers. Restaurant with a lot of choice but not very refined ... the mix bar pool questionable because lacking consistency in my opinion ... very competent staff very attentive thank you to them!

The hotel was in a good location. Easy to walk around. Its closely located to the Patronas twin towers. The room was spacious and clean. The Sky Bar on the 32nd floor had great views. The staff was very friendly and helpful during our stay. We booked a KL City highlight tour through the hotel which was amazing. Pang was super knowledgable not just about KL and Malaysia history, religions, culture and architechture, but also around the world.

It's a very good location - walking distance to KLCC but we can opt to use the hotel shuttle since it's provided by the hotel. Spacious room for us who have kids. They LOVE the bath tub so much. Unfortunately, there's no kids pool in the property. I believe having kids pool can make customers with kids like us happier eventho there is a public pool at KLCC park. Sometimes, we prefer to use the facilities within the same property.

Room is OK. Clublounge is average. Pool is negligeable; indoor and cramped. The combination skybar/pool, fitness or whatever does not work at all.

The sky bar on the 33rd floor is okay

Parking for traders hotel is in klcc actually ,the entrance is beside the hotel but inside the klcc parking, just look for traders hotel parking spaces. It is separated from the mall. The hotel lobby is not ground floor . The restaurant at the lobby serve delicious seafood buffet with for a decent price.
