Suggest to provide Umbrellas during rainy season. Beverage service in waiting area at lobby was missing.

It always nice to come back to to my favored place the staff make me feel like being back home everything was fine had great stay clean rooms well maintained , enjoyed the food and drinks at the Horizon Lounge great Breakfast and well cooked eggs very attentive Staff at the Lounge sure your Staff is still the best in town keep it up you great

It was our sanctuary in Yangon. We were most happy with the choice of Asian food on the menu.

Staff were polite and helpful.

All in all my family and cousins had a pleasant stay at the Club Floor rooms.

As Shangri-La goes this is below the normal.
It s in need of a renovation for me to go back again. The staff are good and I am happy with them. The toilet is in need of a complete overhaul. Imagine you have to step in a long bath to have a shower.

If you are unsure about finding a hotel in Yangon, there is no doubt that you should choose Sule Shangri-La Hotel. Located in downtown, convenient for shopping and sightseeing. There is Japanese food and Japanese available, so even those who are not used to traveling abroad are safe. As it is a luxury hotel, there is no problem with facilities and customer service. There is also a shopping mall. There are food courts and supermarkets inside, so there is no way not to use it from the cospa side by Kimitabi

Facilities were very old and run down. Swimming pool and the breakfast hardly matched the brand I knew.

No complaints. All is good. Very strategic location near to halal eating places, supermarkets, coffee house, clinic etc. Enjoyed the buffet breakfast selection too (I am surprised with the halal selections). The jogging map really help with my morning runs :) The staffs made my stay very comfortable as they handle the check in and check out efficiently.

The smell of the shower curtain was a bit annoying, but the others were the best treats.

Would appreciate it if your restaurant is more vegetarian-friendly, in terms of the food and knowledge of your staff.

Pricey. Rooms are somewhat old fashioned but service is good. You pay for the brand so if you're looking for value or modern chic look elsewhere.

Good place to spend your night, chill your mood. This hotel got buffet dinner set for weekdays and weekends too. But, choose wisely if you keen to have dinner there, as some normal night, you will have not that much choice of dish and food.

My stay is pleasant but I hardly got to enjoy any Horizon club facilities as I m usually back only after 7.30. So I should have just stayed at a standard room.
Also I m surprised that because I booked through Agoda, I don t get any points for my stay in the hotel. I m unaware of this policy and only found out when I enquired about it as my stay last year received no credit points

Nice hotel very convenient location and facilities as it is connected to sule mall with few good stores and a hypermarket in the lower ground floor. The rooms are nice however not very modern for a shangri-la chain standards. The staff are extremely nice and helpful

We stayed in a Horizon room. The club lounge was very nice, food good and friendly staff who served us well. We enjoyed having breakfast here. When we ate in Cafe Sule twice, once for the Buffet which had a very good choice, and once a-la-carte, both meals were very good.

Such a beautiful hotel with good interiors and paintings! The breakfast has good indian food! And very helpful staff! They have a mall and its entrance is from the hotel. All the touristy places are nearby.

This stay I had the privilege to stay in club house rooms . The happy hour services on the 21st floor with panoramic view of city was splendid . After a hectic days work its worth relaxing and enjoying the evening on the 21st floor lounge .

I loved staying here. The rooms were good and so was the food.
They have a very nice spa and I had a great massage there. Well trained staff who know their job.

The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, especially on the front desk and in The Horizon Club Lounge. The happy hour experience in the Club Lounge was excellent and the food first class. The location of the hotel is also a major plus

House keeping was excellent, the cute room keepers kept our rooms very clean. The front staff taught us everything we needed to know. They were smiling all the time so we felt very welcomed and nice. Also the breakfast was excellent, so many dishes to choose from. People at the gallery bar were so kind and friendly so my father went there every night. We would like to stay in Sule Shangri-la again!

The airport pickup was excellent! Superb service, facilities and driver.
From arrival to room check in, we were pampered in different wonderful ways by the efficient receptionist and all hotel staff who were fabulous. We were so pleased with the room that is spotless and well presented. The meals in the evening that day and breakfast the next morning were delicious and artfully prepared coupled with the attention of professional staff. Memorable experience at the hotel! Nice and comfy sofa and seat. Peaceful hideaway for work outside office. Now enjoy their high tea with Irrawaddy Tea Emporium Burma breakfast with Myanmar snacks and desserts.

1) Day 1: Room with carpet but do not supply slipper
2) Day 2: Supply Slipper but forgotten to replace ALL new tower , call to request but provided 1 set only , and need to request for one more time .

One of the decent hotels in Yangon. The amenities were good. The staff's hospitality was excellent, they ensured the overall stay was good and the restaurant staff immediately took action on my complain over the food.

This is my favorite hotel when in Yangon! Choose room with Shwedagon view. Supermarket is in the same building, very convenient

Excellent service all round, and the room was absolutely lovely. The Horizon Club Lounge really could use a bit of a spruce up as it looks relatively "tired" from years of wear and tear. But overall, I don't fault it for the price I paid.

For me, it was another indisputably excellent stay at the Sule Shangri-La Hotel!

The hotel is very well maintained and the highlight of my experience has always been engaging with the hoteliers in this place about their culture and their life perspectives.

I would like to mention the wonderful hoteliers who at various moments, took some time to chat with me.

I'll begin with the truly wonderful folks from the reception area I interact with whenever I pass by the lobby. Got really warm welcome from Ms Htet Htet, Ms Yamin Htike, Ms Wai Wai Aung, Ms Patricia, Ms Olivia and Ms A Me Ko. My check-in experiences including this time have always been very smooth without any hassles or delays. Keep up the great work!

And without fail, I also got excellent welcome and support from the Concierge folks such as Mr Ko Ko, Mr Kaung Myat, Mr Abel, Mr Andrew and Mr Jason. They are always full of ideas of where I can go to whenever I have some available time in between my meetings.

The Horizon Club team comprising of Ms Khin Zar, Ms Cho Zin, Ms Su Thawdar, Ms Nang and Mr Harry ensured that guests like myself were very comfortable at the 21st floor lounge. Deep thanks to Ms Hanzar, Mr Jarvis and Mr Phyo Ko for always engaging with me each morning on their very interesting experiences and also about the quality of my stay. This time, I invited two guests for breakfast with me at the Horizon Club and they were deeply impressed with what this place offered. The view from the Horizon Club also gave them a very good view of how Yangon is developing.

The quiet folks responsible for ensuring clean rooms also need to be highlighted for their great work. I really want to thank Mr Yan Aung and Mr Goal Lay for making sure that I had everything I needed for my room.

Absolutely delighted to see Ms Zar Chi, Ms May and Ms Su Myat again at the Cafe Sule again. I invited some guests for dinner and everything went very well as usual. The international buffet with BBQ was very well received by my guests. Wide variety of options as usual!

As Sule Shangri La Hotel is always my preferred choice in Yangon because of your excellent hoteliers, I hope the management would extend my deepest appreciation to them.

I can only assure you that I look forward to my next stay at this hotel again!

The main point of city traffic. Clean facilities and friendly staff.

Service is good. Breakfast buffet is sumptuous. We did Bagan before Yangon. You will appreciate it more. Room is decent. It's connected to the next door mall. Pool is rather small but gym and health facilities are good to enjoy in the hotel. Lobby do have mosquitoes.

Horrible service at the entrance..
Shocked by the terrible service at the entryway. First of all, some securities at the entrance asked with a higher tone as an unwelcoming greetings. Secondly, while leaving the hotel after having a dinner at Cafe Sule, again at the exit, they awfully refused to the ask for walking with an umbrella to the car parked in front as there was a heavy rain outside and there were some umbrellas of them hanging nearby. Never been such icy unwelcoming experience and unpleasant moment at the five-star hotel.

Very negative experience of this hotel supposed to be luxurious. Arrival in our room: no towels and frankly average cleaning.
At bedtime, we find that our room is extremely noisy because next to the elevators. After half an hour of calls, the reception tells us that there is no possibility of changing rooms, which is totally wrong because of the huge number of rooms in the hotel. Unfriendly staff at reception and restaurant, you would have to learn to smile!

We had over 60 people at your hotel for a week and they all loved it. Your service, friendly people were exceptional. Thank you so much!

It would be best to renovate bath tub to shower. I think it is unsafe as bath tub floor is slippery. Overall stay was great. Staff were attentive. Room was clean and smell good.
