Bought a tracker recently, the online experience good. Everything has been confirmed from their side and it should be getting installed within a few days. If all goes well will get another one for my other half.

Depends who answers the phone!
Darren couldn't be more helpful. Others need to follow his example. Polite, good humoured, good advise.
Guy I spoke to yesterday not so good. Also promised that Technical Dept would call me back in 24 hours and, no call back.

I've had this service on two high-value vehicles (as the insurance companies insist we have this service) and both have always been the same. Every year Tracker.co.uk just take the renewal money from my registered card without a remittance advice or invoice being sent. I always have have to chase them for it. No other business would be allowed to do this and every year I have to fight to get payment notifications. Shocking really. I even think this may be counter to HMRC rules for a VAT rated product. I should say that their finance staff are always pleasant and helpful and I do get the info I need from them.

Terrible, particularly because they will not replace batteries on your Tracker when they run down (they are not rechargeable), you will be wasting your money on a lifetime subscription, as you will need to buy an entire new unit, when your battery is depleted. Look elsewhere and if you must buy a Tracker read all the small print and be aware of the limitations.

They are meant to contact you when the battery is dying, but they never did this for us and therefore the Tracker device could have been ineffective and at odds with the Insurance companies requirements. We contacted them out of curiosity, only to be told the unit had 5 errors going back for some time!!

We are the original owners of the car and paid to have our Tracker fitted and our phone and email details have never changed. We even wrote to them when we changed address a few years back (and received the updated certificate), but they claim they did not have contact details for us. This really is poor and makes you think how effective they might be when you actually need them.

Assured me they would be able to fit the tracker to my car which was required by my insurance company and then failed to fit in-line with CAT 5 Plus protocol. Wasted many months and resulted in me having to pay a huge premium with my insurer as nobody else would fit a device with the existing on not correctly installed. The device was left installed to the vehicle when they realised it would cost them more to remove and any thing damaged would also be their responsibility.

Total waste of time and poor customer service. Many false promises and no taking responsibility despite screwing up many times.

Contacting Tracker is a job in itself. I needed an answer about whether our Tracker was working on our caravan as it did not beep when we pressed the button. Eventually spoke to engineer who said he would do a test on it from his end and phone me back. Of course he didn t. Then I had to phone him back from my mobile and still no answer to question except I could buy a new tracker. It wouldn t be same as one we ve got - if stolen we would have to contact Tracker. What s the point of that when caravan is in storage? In the end I phoned our insurers and paid extra for having no tracker as we would have made our insurance void if tracker wasn t on.
We had a lifetime subscription. Not really though as they have no batteries or spare parts for our tracker. They said they wrote to us/emailed when it was 3-5 years old to tell us about battery etc. Like everyone else we had no contact at all.
Very disappointed.
