Should be lower stars but been buying vehicles from Fayetteville location and never had service this bad before. Dropped off van at 9AM for warranty recall and was told 4 hours. I waited 6 hours and called them to find out vehicle was still not even touched. After talking with manager who was not helpful and just made excuses I left with my car. They offered to have the specialist stay late to get our vehicle done. Still need the recall fixed but I just do not want my time wasted again.

After leaving another dealership frustrated, we came to Hendrick Toyota and had a completely different experience. Dalton Knight was friendly, knowledgeable, and willing to work with us to find a vehicle that met our needs.
We will definitely be back when we need another vehicle!

This dealership is awesome, I have bought 2 trucks including a 2020 Tundra which I love. I have also referred several of my friends who have purchased vehicles and they give me the same feedback, great experience. After the purchase they followed up with me to make sure I was up to speed on the new technology. If you are in the market for a Toyota see Jack Morgan and his team, you will be very happy!

Nick helped me out with a purchase of a used vehicle I just made. I was hesitant to go to a dealership worried about the cost but the total customer service was unparalleled. Having the availability of a rental while the replace parts and a total 150000 check and maintenance it was worth the money and the customer service was super. Thanks guys.

Excellence customer service. Very friendly, comfortable atmosphere. Mr. Bender was nice and polite and explained my repair to me and will follow up on Monday with prices for my repair and parts. Will visit again and will recommend others.

I was quoted one price on the phone but when I got to the dealership they gave me a price that was $35 higher. They ended up giving me the quoted price but it took a manager to approve. Other than that, it was a good service appointment.

This was my first time buying any car let alone a new car. I was expecting the experience to be overwhelming and stressful but it was actually enjoyable! The sales rep was very knowledgeable of the vehicle I was interested in and explained all the features to me so well that I still haven't had to read the owners manual. I feel confident in my purchase price and have no buyers remorse!

I bought brand new RAV4 2018, salesman was good after 3 month I notice my car have some fault in it doesn t show low fuel warning light, I went 1st time to service Left my car they call back and said when fuel level will be 50 mile below bring your car back. When, I went other day , they send me back. They don t have any knowledge about car electronics. I went to service manager Greg page, took my car picture from were paint chip was coming out and said, he will call me on Monday, no call back form his side even ones I left voice msg and emailed. Today on Friday evening when I went to meet Greg page, he send service lane manager, he stated that it is not paint fault. But I can see its company paint fault not even ready to forward my issue to the Toyota company they gave me number to call them. Will never buy any car in future will not recommend, they will never give you company warranty.

All direct customer contacts were good. Unfortunately, the blinkers did not operate at delivery, which necessitated a return. Fortunately, we were able to return quickly, and the repair was completed promptly. Unfortunately, the carwash did not work as expected and the wash code was valid for a single trial. We ran out of time to monkey with the system.

Went in looking to trade my 2016 Rav4. Loved my Rav4, just wanted something smaller. Brett Hamlett met us and provided us with several options. He was extremely knowledgeable of all the year/models we were interested in. Initially i was looking for a used Toyota, but i ended up purchasing a 2018 Corolla, with low payments, and a warranty/maintenance plan that makes me feel secure about driving my brand new car in Wilmington traffic. Overall wonderful experience.

Updating my review to go from two stars to three. You can see my original review below. I have had some not so pleasant experiences with Hendrick Toyota of Wilmington but I do want to say something that I do find great with them, and that is the Hendrick Auto Guard warranty. I purchased a pre-owned vehicle from this dealership and received this warranty with it and that in itself has been SO WELL WORTH dealing with my other issues. I do not like the sales process I went through and I do not like the service issues I have had but I LOVE their warranty and they have honored it and saved me so much money on repair issues I've experienced with my car (not a toyota) that I would absolutely buy from them again simply because of this excellent warranty.

Every time I come here, I leave frustrated. You can find my review on Facebook regarding my sales experience and how they hurt my credit score. This review I am leaving here is regarding the experience I had yesterday during a service appointment. I made an appointment over the phone for a simple oil change. The guy who booked it asked if I would drop off or stay, and I said I would stay. He said they would start on it as soon as I arrived, because I was concerned about being away from work for too long. I arrived about 5 minutes early and was checked in. The woman who checked me again confirmed my services to be performed and again asked if I would be dropping off or waiting and I said waiting. An hour and a half later, I go out to her and ask if they have started on my car yet. She checks and says no, and says that they had me down for a drop-off. I was really upset at this point because she had literally confirmed with me when I arrived. Both service people knew I was waiting, and I'm watching people who came in AFTER me, get done before me. It's a dang oil change! It took over 2 hours before I got my vehicle. A similar thing happened the last time I took it in for an oil change as well. The guy then asks if they can replace some air filter or something (I forget what it was) and I say sure. HOURS later it's not done (again, I'm waiting in the waiting room) and when I ask him what's up he says "oh we are waiting for the part we ordered to arrive". WTF Hendrick? I am trying to give you my business and you keep letting me down.

These guys are awesome! They made my purchase easy. Brian Gottry was the perfect salesman. No pressure, very helpful. Jack Morgan was instrumental in providing an amazing price for my vehicle and Brenden Halloran was extremely helpful with financing. You can't go wrong by shopping here!

This place is a nightmare! Why make an appointment...

This place is a nightmare! Why make an appointment for a service if you still have to wait 2+ hours every time! They are all about packing in 15+ people in at an hour time slot. I showed up at 8:55 for 9:00 appointment and was #7 in line. Then I go to find out what is going on with my car and I asked why should I make an appointment and got ignored because they didn't want to deal with me! Very unprofessional! Calling to get my oil change package refunded so I don't have to deal with people like this!

My wife and I were traveling from Raleigh to Wilmington yesterday and experienced a minor problem with our 2013 Toyota Camry LE (purchased in Raleigh). Like a beacon of light, we saw Hendrick Toyota, and pulled in to see if they could (or would) help. Obviously, we did not have an appointment. They welcomed us as if we bought it from them. In no time, we were back on the road again! I wish we knew the two gentlemen's names, to thank them personally, but we hope they remember us, and know how much we greatly appreciate their assistance. Thank You!!

I usually am very pleased with Hendrick's service, but on 10/20/18 I got a $80.46 quote for a part for my Avalon repair, yet when the final invoice was printed the part was now listed as $114.00. The part number was indeed verified as the same as the original lower quote. I could not get the service writer to check or change the part cost. Very unfortunate.

After having a few not so great experiences at this dealership from the previous purchase of a fj Cruiser, service visits etc decided to give this dealership another chance tonight as we are looking to purchase a 4Runner. We pulled up in the lot a few minutes before they closed and just wanted to walk around the lot to look at a few. A salesman had came out to talk to us and he was very helpful, mike Tracy. After a few minutes of talking with him and walking around the lot someone who said they were one of the sales managers pulled up in his truck and told us they were closed and if we weren t looking to buy tonight then we needed to come back at another time , if we just wanted to look around basically do not waste their time right now. I thought The way he handled this was very rude and definitely did not make me want to buy another car from them. We moved from raleigh and have dealt with Leith Toyota and Toyota of Henderson with great customer service. After our experiences here it is worth it to me to drive a couple hours away for the purchase of our next Toyota.

When checked in, service manager remembered that he had serviced my car previously which I thought was impressive with the number of clients they work with and that I had not requested a particular service manager. He made sure I was comfortable during my wait time and was extremely helpful. Brandon definitely gave first class service.

For nearly ten years this dealership has been servicing my Toyota vehicles and has undergone at least one name change during that time. Even though, in my opinion, the service was Great to Excellent ten years ago, it has continued to improve over the years to the point of Outstanding. I have in the past and continue to recommend the service department to even non-Toyota owners who ask my opinion or are looking for reliable, quality service and that "special something" from a service department. The new building and customer waiting area makes for a very comfortable wait if that is your choice. I do, however, miss the little popcorn wagon.

I was greeted promptly and my service advisor, Wil was very helpful in walking me through the service process. Two hours later, I received a call that my 4Runner was ready! An excellent overall experience!!

I recently took my Prius in for routine maintenance.... oil change and tire rotation. Turns out it wasn't time for an oil change! I am totally impressed at the honesty and professionalism of the guy who assisted me in checking in.
Oh...and the tire rotation was done in good time.
I will not take my car anywhere else to be serviced!

Diana Kenny, meet my wife and I on the sales lot and ask if she could help show us something. We said we would just like to see some RAV4's and Camrys. Diana explained the current discounts on RAV4's. We looked at both and drove both.
Diana understood my wife's hearing impairment and my wife was impressed with her. They talked a lot and we decided on the RAV4. My wife is so happy with her new car. (As she calls it) We would suggest to anyone ask for Diana Lenny.

I went there to test drive a vehicle I had seen. The salesman that came up to me drilled me about using him as the salsesman & that he worked on commission and didnt want to put the work in if we were not going to work with him. Although his position was understandable his rudeness and disrespect in front of me & my wife was completely unacceptable and unwarranted. He told me that if we didnt work with him he needed to be infront of someone that would. There were absolutley no other customers there waiting and 3 other salesman standing around. I WOULD NOT reccomend.

I have been a customer with Hendrick Toyota for 7 years and their service is phenomenal. To compare, I was a BMW owner and their service was not even close to Hendricks. I will always purchase from Hendrick Toyota Wilmington!

I called the dealership on Friday to schedule a service for Monday morning. I dropped the truck off on Sunday evening with no issues. I received a call back the next morning letting me know that they had the car and gave an estimated completion time. I received another call when there were finished, and I picked up my car without any issue.

Very good experience and I will have the truck serviced there again in the future.

I had done on-line research and found a car I liked. Once I saw it I knew I wanted it. David my sales champion was professional, took his time making sure I was completely satisfied with my selection. We test drove it and asked David a lot of questions! He took his time and if he didn't know the answer he made sure to find out. This gave me confident I had made the right choice in the car and the dealership. Hendrick Toyota of Wilmington even replaced a tail light bulb. They stood by their promise of welcoming me to the family!!!

Two stars only because the service was timely and ...

Two stars only because the service was timely and friendly. That being said, this is just another TRUE big dealer service dept. I took my 2008 Tacoma in to have 2 factory recalls inspected/resolved. I was notified that there will be additional charges due to my Tacoma having a lift (2'' block) in order to swap out the leaf springs (recall). When I picked up my vehicle the "additional charges" totaled $150. The additional work needed was literally a U bolt that is roughly 1.5-2inches longer than the factory U bolt. Essentially they tried charging me $150 for the power tool to make a few extra rotations. I immediately called out the service dept employee to which they IMMEDIATELY agreed and cut of 10%. I was not happy with this due to the 10% "discount" is borderline insulting as they agreed so quickly with no rebuttal and such a small "discount". Basically they knew that ANY additional charge in this scenario was unwarranted and just an up sale on a factory recall that was supposed to be free. I still did not agree with the additional charge of $120 for something that requires leaving a power tool on a bolt for an additional 2 seconds. To summarize, the service was timely and friendly however the integrity/honesty is low-non existent just as most larger dealerships and service departments are.
