My husband's Rav 4 had over 200,000 miles on it since he purchased it in 2000. I started to shop online for a replacement through several different car buying sites and found the 2013 Tacoma we wanted at Hendrick Toyota. Since our move to this area, Hendrick Toyota did all of the maintenance on the Rav 4. A quick visit to the dealership confirmed that truck's availability and within a few hours, we drove it home off the lot. Hendrick's made the process as painless as possible, even with our USAA buyer's discount.

Several of my colleagues had recently purchased a Prius from Hendrick's as well. After riding in one of their new cars, my new-car envy morphed into Prius-envy. Again, an online search found a used 2012 Prius at Hendrick Toyota. After another quick visit to the dealership, I left my '98 Avalon with 180,000 miles with them and drove home the Prius. It has already made several round-trips to Jersey (can't beat the gas economy), and the Tacoma will be pulling our sailboat to Florida in May.

Well this was my last free service per the 2 years...

Well this was my last free service per the 2 years of service free when I purchased the car. I received a post card notice informing me of the last service per the agreement and it stated the final date to get it completed. I scheduled this last appointment via the web site. Arrived and the car was taken for the final free service. I also had specified I wanted my state inspection performed and it was. All went smoothly and expeditiously.

Three stars in not a compliment. It means the bare minimum was done. However, I made this rating BEFORE I was swindled by a sales person in the service area. This visit reminded me why I do not go to the dealerships for service and why short of another recall, I won't be back.

We had a great experience at Hendrick Toyota in Wilmington. Diane Kinney was very knowledgeable and helpful. My wife was very nervous about buying a car because she didn't want to be hassled or overwhelmed by "pushy" sales people. Diane put her at ease by listening to what she wanted and giving her information that would help her find the car that was right for her. She was very personable and sweet, and made the search an enjoyable experience. With Diane's help we found a used Camry that was exactly what my wife wanted. The financial team was able to get our monthly payment where we needed it to be. That was three weeks ago and my wife still could not be happier with her new car. Thank you, Diane!

I recently purchased my second Highlander, after owning my first one for 14 years. Last week I took it to the mountains and really enjoyed the way it handled It's a very smooth and comfortable ride, and I look forward to having it for many years.
My sales experience was such a pleasant one. No pressure, which is of importance to me.

This was about the most easy and enjoyable as a service experience as one can be. The staff was very nice and helpful. The customer area was comfortable and not cramped like most. They had Starbucks coffee and pastries as well; With past service experiences at other dealerships I am used to long waits but my truck was in and out very quickly.

Very disappointed this morning at the Wilmington s...

Very disappointed this morning at the Wilmington service department to find total disregard for the well-being if customers. No staff were wearing masks. No staff seemed to be paying attention to distancing from customers. The small plexiglass shields at the service desks were of no use when the staff person had to step to the side and reach around to share the information on the service ticket. I ve been a customer for many years. Totally disappointed in your lack of concern. You can do better.

I took my 2018 4Runner for its two-year maintenance check to Hendrick Toyota. The were quick to receive me, find out what checks needed to be done and any additional maintenance I required. They did the check up quickly and I was on the road again after only 25 minutes, a record for me.

Great place. The key to a great business is to offer more precieved value an the actual cost and I recieved that on Saturday. After service, they cleaned my car, and while I was waiting in enjoyed a Starbucks dark roast and watched TV. I will be going back to Hendrick Toyota Scion of Wilmington for service of my car.

As a first time car buyer, I was nervous to make the purchase but Joe and Nathan were both wonderful and helped me through the process. They answered any questions I had and worked with me from start to finish. Nathan was kind when we had to stay after closing time to finish the paperwork. When I came to pick up my car after purchase the car was cleaned again and filled with gas. Joe showed me how to work everything and helped me set up Bluetooth. Staff was all friendly.

Been in to this dealership multiple times over the years. Not very honest in my opinion. I have gone to other Toyota dealerships instead. Twice I have left and bought other vehicles just because of dishonest practices. Another time I flew to Charlotte to purchase a Tundra and spent the same amount of money as I would've here but couldn't handle the lack of class . The last time I was purchasing a Land Cruiser they advertised on their website but was at another location and gave me no assistance. I had to drive to Charlston Toyota to purchase the exact car. The manager told me it was sold and I should buy the one on their lot. The only reason why I gave 1 star is that there is no option for zero. I would save yourself the hassle and drive to the next closest Toyota dealer.

Terrific experience. No nonsense. Salesperson, Brian, was excellent and answered all our questions. We did our research previous to shopping so we basically knew our price point and the dealership met that price. I would go back.

I purchased the oil change package for 6 oil changes with synthetic oil from Toyota since with the discount it was close to the price Wal-mart would charge with the confidence of having a dealer perform it. The waiting area in the remodeled dealer is much better now having quality coffee, bottled water, hot chocolate and decent seating to wait in.

Great service. My service writer was friendly, professional and explained everything they did to my vehicle. And I was in and out in a reasonable time for my 10K recommended service ! I thought I had messed up my monitor on my dashboard but he showed me what I was doing wrong and voila.

Although I had a very helpful service representati...

Although I had a very helpful service representative this time - he informed me that I had not effectively used the service package I had purchased 3 years ago. He told me that my truck s oil only needed to be replaced every year or 10,000 miles ... and I had been having it changed every six months (much less than 10,000 miles)... so I basically waisted most of the oil changes in my package. None of the previous service reps ever mentioned I didn t need my oil changed - nor did the service rep who sold me the package.

January 2020
I had been experiencing a constant squeaking since from under the hood and over the course of a month it progressively got worse. I scheduled an appointment with our local mechanic to investigate.

Slow on service this go-around. I have a pre-paid...

Slow on service this go-around. I have a pre-paid maintenance plan, so scheduled an advance appointment for a routine 5,000 mile checkup. Only needed tires rotated this time (no oil change), but it took 1 hour and 45 minutes to do this minor service.
Apparently, the service was originally started by one of the mechanics, who got pulled off onto another job... and eventually my car was re-sent to the Express Service section (I guess that is the section designed for minor jobs) for completion.
Seems like better coordination could have been done to either get it put in the Express Section initially, or the mechanic who dropped the job part way though could have communicated better, rather than waiting for nearly 2 hours.

Originally I went in just to look around and see what deals Toyota had to offer, I was greeted as soon as I got there by a salesman by the name of Josh Destafino, he was very polite and took his time to find out exactly what I was looking for as we walked around the lot. After test driving and going over all the features we decided the 2016 Highlander fit my needs. It was a bit more than what I was looking to spend but Josh worked with me on the price and got it to exactly where I wanted to be. A few hours later I found myself driving away in my new car and I have to say, it was one of the best experience I've had at a car dealership and I will highly recommend Mr. Destafino to anyone who is in the market.

The service that l received on my 2017 Toyota was 5 star all the way, l came in for a regular service and some issues where found during that service , I am so glad that Hendricks Toyota are the only ones that have ever service my truck because if not the problems would have not been detected and for that I am grateful because I love my truck and to my service rep Evan thank you Sir for a thorough job you are the best 5 star service to you . I made an appointment for my car on a busy Saturday but Hendricks was able to take care of me in a timely fashion...
The waiting room is state of the art with an excellent coffee maker, honeybuns, and lightning quick wifi. There are several cozy areas to sit so that you can avoid certain TV shows and/or children. And, for the kind mother, there is a separate room for children to play in with a tv and comfy child sized furniture.
Great place to take your car for Toyota care.

I have never had to wait dropping off my car for a...

I have never had to wait dropping off my car for an appointment. I waited 15 minutes along with three other people with appointments at the same time. I wanted my car washed after the service was completed and it wasn t done. In the past we were given a code to do the wash ourselves but due to recent damage to the car wash system the workers were the only ones to do the wash. After waiting for service I chose to not wait any longer. We have been coming there for ten years and have never had any problems like this. Disappoint

The staff at Hendrick Toyota of Wilmington is friendly, knowledgeable and very helpful. Each time I ve had my vehicles there for service they get me through quick and make things simple. Eric Sykes is an amazing Service Advisor, he is friendly, helpful and understanding. Would highly recommend this dealership and will continue going back.

Salesmen aren't pushy here. I worked with Alex and he was funny... Very funny. He was extremely knowledgeable and accommdating. Thanks again Alex.

The location itself is nice. Free Starbucks. Service department is fast as hell. You also get a free carwash after service.

Worst place ever. Biggest scammers. Would not recommend them at all. Already tried to talk to them with no luck. Don t worry I have told many people about what they did and also have friends and family that work at another toyoto dealership and shared with them about this place. So sad people have to con you at buying cars.

It was a great experience we we purchase out SUV Qx56 the sales manager was awesome he listen of what we need it and made it happen but last year on 2018 the experience was not as smooth as the previous one the sales man that was assign to me was not helpful sometimes being the top salesman doesn t mean it will be a good fit for everyone anyway for the past 3 years I always replace my vehicles on December sometimes when sales people focus on the sale not on the customer loyalty the dealer loose this was the case I now took my business to other dealer that I feel value as customer that purchase on average 2 to 3 vehicles per year

My son bought a car here but we end up spending about 4hrs because he was shopping for the cheapest car ins. (he's 18..ins is crazy expensive) Diana was the best. She was on her cell calling different car ins. getting quotes for us. She was so helpful and patient. She put up with us for hours without attitude. She made us feel so comfortable. Great customer service. Luke (sales) was friendly and knowledgeable, no pushy sales pitch. They have followed up with me multiple times since my purchase to make sure I'm happy. I came in for service on my car, Keith gave me a loaner when he realized it would take a while. I've never had that kind of service at a dealership.

Pulled in to the lot to just browse. Kim Wehinger met us outside. We were looking to eventually trade my 2016 4Runner for a new one. All I was sure of was I wanted a 4Runner with third row seating option. She checked every one on the lot until she found one with this feature and within 2 hours we were driving off the lot with a brand new 2021, metallic grey, 4WD! I didn t like the stock rims so she made arrangements to trade them for ones that look awesome on it.
I feel comfortable texting or calling her when I have questions or can t figure something out with my vehicle and I have a few times!
She is a rock star and if ever I need a new vehicle, I hope to deal with Kim again! I will definitely refer my friends to her and Hendrick!

Our vehicle broke down and with minimal available time for research and not a little trepidation, we chose Hendrick Toyota to assess and make repairs.

We couldn't be happier with not only the news of an inexpensive repair, but also the personableness of our Hendrick's contact, Keith. In fact, it seems extraordinary the attention and timeliness with which a 13 year-old car would be dealt.

I haven't any knowledge of Hendrick's car sales performance, but certainly will in the future after having such a fantastic experience with Keith and the service department.

Thank you so much, Keith Sullivan! On the Saturday before Labor Day, we were headed for a week long vacation to Oak Island when our truck would not start at a gas station near Greenville, NC. We arrived at the dealership at 5:45pm with our Tacoma behind a tow truck. Keith stayed after his going home time to try and get us back on the road but needed parts from the closed parts department. We came back Tuesday morning at 7:45 and our truck was already in the service bay. At 9 we were on the road to Oak Island with a new battery and confidence in the electrical system. Thanks, Keith, for all your efforts to save our vacation and get us back on the road as quickly as possible.

Overall I would absolutely rate this experience as excellent!! I thought the staff was incredibly friendly and professional. I was very skeptical going in since this was one of the larger purchases I had ever made. Chad really took the time to address all of questions and concerns and never once made me feel pressured. Hats off to him and his entire team guiding me through it. I would recommend them to anyone in a heartbeat.

I had my 20k service performed. It was very busy but my car was ready before I finished my coffee! And it had been run through the car wash for me! As always, the staff was polite, professional and handling the heavy traffic calmly. I always have a good experience..
