I can honestly say that I've had cafeteria food that's exponentially better than this. I think you're better off taking your family elsewhere. However, if you're into happy hours and finding cheap drinks by all means please come!

Went on a Monday early afternoon lunch and it was bland, expensive and had unnecessarily harsh lighting. Salsa (red and green) taste store bought. Fish tacos and the all the rices weren t flavorful. On the plus side the shrimp taco s and green beans were decent. The decor was cute and festive. I feel bad, I know its hard to own a small business but i don t like to waste my money.

went for cinco de mayo. Bar was packed early but it closed early for a Sunday.

Very disappointed. I haven't been in a while and it wasn't good. Bartender seemed annoyed I was there, my salad was lackluster to say the least. I've ordered the Mexican Cesar many times and this was not the same.

We were In the mood for Mexican food and this place hit all the right spots. Margarita special.... $8 pitchers, roasted corn on the cob was delicious and seasoned well, tortilla soup was yummy, and mahi mahi tacos were pretty perfect. I haven't been here in a while and I'm glad we stopped in tonight..... we'll be back soon!

The service was good, the wait for our good was an hour, the good came out room temperature, wasn't even hot. Thank you to the GM, we will be back.

Service was terrific, food tasted very good except not enough shrimp in the chipotle shrimp tacos for the $17 price tag...only chopped up pieces of shrimp (not whole) in them and just 1-3 pieces per taco.

1st timer. Staff was pleasant. Live music was fabulous. Food was authentic and wonderful.

I came for dinner with my son to celebrate a birthday. Food was good but lettuce served with the fajitas was brown and not fresh, guacamole was bland. The chili rellanoes was great. Always enjoy our meals here, but they need to pay more attention to details.

I ll start by saying they have a very reasonable happy hour, which was the reason for our visit this afternoon. We walked into the bar area and were hit with a very unpleasant odor. We sat at the bar and ordered our drinks, a margarita and a beer. The margaritas are not made to order, rather a pre-made mixture which is disappointing. We ordered our food, and while we were waiting for our food I watched in disbelief a mouse run from the dining area to behind the bar. While I am sure there are many places I dine on a regular basis that have mice here and there, I have never seen one so close to me. The bartender came out with our food and I informed her and she responded with I will let the managers know followed by another comment that led me to believe this is a common problem and not the first complaint. She went to the back and came back out to let us know she had reported it. No manager ever came out to apologize. My boyfriend and I were disgusted so we ate a few bites of our meals and wanted to leave. She was apologetic and probably embarrassed and it s not her fault. Having worked in the business, We should have been approached by a higher up. We then began to look around at all the other visible dirt and grime surrounding the bar, including flies and dust. We ve been here several times before where they leave chips and salsa sitting behind the bar.. imagine the flies landing on them.. or the mouse that may have ran across that surface prior to their opening of the restaurant that day. Again, I understand mice happen from time to time, but to see one a few feet from me is a completely different story. We definitely will not be back until this place is cleaned up and it s a shame because the food is pretty good.

Everything tasted like it was from a bag, not homemade at all, the salsa and salsa verde are definitely from a can, plates and silverware where dirty, bland Americanized Mexican food, it s a over priced chi chi s . Wouldn t go again. Atmosphere was cute and waitress was nice.

Fantastic environment and super affable service. The menu was crisp and delightful. Will definitely recommend this place to friends and family. Reasonable rates and generous meals. Keep it up.

Was 5 stars before and dropped to 4 stars because of service. When contacted with an issue, no return phone call. No offer to make things right and we were regulars. We have been shying away from the place, but Kim is a great server. Employee and management turnover is exceptionally high for the industry, food is decent, Margaritas are good but hit or miss. Last time we went there, we waited 15 minutes for a table while tables were clearly empty while a woman almost acted like she was doing us a favor seating us. The 4 star review is being kind lately, but it was a 5 start review.

Both Tortilla Press locations are excellent with quality food and a caring staff. Additionally Mark and Lydia are fantastic community partners always looking for ways to celebrate and support South Jersey s nonprofit community.

This was my first time here thanks to a recommendation of a friend. I ordered take home and picked it up. When I tell you this was delicious it s understatement! I will be back for sure fresh and delicious also the food was packed well, and I don t leave many reviews and they also had great service upon my arrival for my order pickup. Definitely worth the trip!!

We went to this restaurant for my birthday. The food, service and atmosphere were excellent.Everyone ordered something different and everyone enjoyed what they had.

I've gone to this place quite a few times and the service is pretty good but the food is okay. Usually, I ordere a burrito but the rice is very dry and it has a bitter tomato taste that just doesn't go with it, I also have asked my company how their food was and they weren't too satisfied with it. But I can definitely assure you that they're guac and chips are the best around here.

I was there this past Sunday after the flyers game the bartender was the worst I ve ever seen in my life I sat by the door where you come in there must ve been 15 glasses and beer bottles sitting in front of me for at least an hour and a half from the group that was there watching the game before me before the bartender Finally cleaned it up it was disgusting I went to the bathroom it was disgusting doesn t look like anyone has cleaned it in weeks I really don t know what s going on there the past few years but I can see why you go through bartenders constantly whoever your manager is it better get rid of him I find another one I was totally grossed out

Great food, great atmosphere, great service and most important great margaritas!

The Tortilla Press Cantina in Pennsauken.. We have made this a regular stop for my family, for both a full dining experience as well as a quick stop for some appetizers and cocktails at the bar. Chef Mark obviously has a passion for the food he creates, in my opinion he delivers some truly authentic Mexican flavors avoiding the imitation offerings found in many chains restaurants.

The staff at the Cantina is friendly and attentive; Chef Mark has delivered a relaxed dining environment and a casual atmosphere. It's not uncommon to see Chef Mark make his way out to say hi or to simply check on things from time to time. The Chef s bar has plenty to offer, we typically settle on a craft or import beer or more often their fresh made Sangria.. always a great choice.

The overall food quality and portion sizes provide an excellent value, varying specials and family offerings throughout the week make for even more choices and savings.

Always have great service and food! Prices are extremely reasonable. Our favorite Mexican restaurant.

Tortilla Press wins for quality take out food. Mark, you have done a great job keeping my family fed during the pandemic. The quality of your food is not diminished in any way by moving to carry out and the value of family meals is amazing. I miss sitting in the Cantina and look forward to doing so again when things open up. We haven't tried sitting outside yet but will, soon. In the meantime. we'll continue to pick up dinner and enjoy it at home. Thanks for staying open for your loyal customers!

Food was great but the different sauces on everything was a bit much

Lots of great vegetarian options and gluten free options, but still decent prices and good service! Delicious!

The food here is Yum Yum . And the servers are super pleasant and eager to please.

Stopped in for lunch today with my daughter. We should of been out shopping but got side tracked to this location. Found us a diamond in the rough for sure. Food, atmosphere (even tbough quiet on a taco tuesday lunch) and our server Lisa, met our expections! I have now found my favorite restaurant in my new neighborhood of merchantville. Thanks again!!!!

Good food. It's unfortunate that they only have one server during the weekdays. When they get slammed at lunch the waiter for your food can be crazy. It's not the servers fault though.

Lucky to have Chef Mark and the Cantina just a few minutes from our home...but if not, it would be a destination! Staff is always friendly and attentive. Food is just plain excellent!
And do save room for the deserts made in house. Check out the Cantinas specials...Taco Tuesday today!!!!

The only reason why it's not 5 is because of the flies.. SMH.. it was so hard to deny because the ribs and fajitas were the BEST but the flies were alot to deal with. Sticky traps in the windows is ghetto to me, but I would respect that than what we dealt with. Service was excellent though!

We love this place. Been here twice now and had two excellent experiences. Food is always excellent and service is always good and fast. This location has a bar and restaurant.

My cousin and her husband live in New Jersey. I wanted Mexican food today, but it being NJ, I didn't expect much. Man, this place knocked it outta the park. I wish they had sweet tea and I'd prefer if the beans they bring out with the chips and salsa were hot, BUT everything was so good, the menu is unique, and I have a new favorite place to eat out this way. I told them we're coming back every time I'm in town. And the lady who served us is great, too. I didn't catch her name, unfortunately. But I recommend the chips and queso and the sweet potato burrito with mushrooms. so. good. (Wish I could do 4.5 stars. Would be 5 except for the lack of sweet tea and the cold beans. 4.5, guys!! Not a 4.)

Nice place. Friendly staff. Reasonably priced. Burritos and tacos are terrific. Cheese steak empanadas were very tasty, especially with the pepper dipping sauce.

Happy Hour food and drinks at the bar very good. Only problem charged $2 for rocks for my scotch Next time will order scotch neat and ice water then fish out the cubes for my drink.

I love this place. We make it out every so often for Taco Tuesday. I usually eat four or five tacos, share some sweet plantains and a flan with my wife. I love the fact that they carry Bulleit Bourbon at the bar.
Now if we come on an other than Tuesday night, we eat in the dining area and I go for one of Mark's specials or devour one of their delisious burritos. Still got to get the sweet plantains and tend to go for the Charros for dessert.
If you like gourmet Mexican food, you will love The Tortilla Press Cantina.
