I remember when tortilla had really good fresh food now their stuff is frozen and then re- heated it,
When you request your meal and I know that for a fact because it's still cold in the middle like freezer cold. I'm pretty much done with tortilla press I will not be going there any longer.
My last three times there were horrible even my last take out.
I waited for over an hour for my food and when I got home the frozen food was still cold. I guess everything good comes to an end.

My experience was awful. I ordered for pickup for two entree's and a guacamole appetizer. The price was 42.80. Thankfully we were using a gift card but I feel the people who gave the card to us were duped. The food was less than mediocre, the portions were acceptable, it took 3 wait staff and the hostess (the waitresses seemed particularly off-put, the male waiter was jovial and accommodating to his table, the hostess was very nice once she got around to assisting me with my take out order) each two passes before the hostess said something to me and I was the only person waiting while there were approximately 5 or 6 couples in the place. About a ten minute wait with no customers in front of me.
I will never go here again. My recommendation for anyone is to either go to Mexican Food Factory on route 70 or our favorite El Azteca on route 73.

This place has impressed me like few others. Carnivores, pescatarians, and vegetarians all have many creative options to choose from, with a nice balance of traditional and eclectic fair. I went with my daughter. She ate steak and seafood, I ate vegetarian. Everything had great balance of flavor. The dining room is comfortable and well decorated. The wait staff and bartender were all friendly and professional. The whole experience was praiseworthy, from start to finish. I highly recommend this place.

We have been coming here for years, and we ve never been disappointed. Food is always delicious and plentiful! Tonight, we visited with our two children. Lucky for us it was kids eat free night. Extra bonus! My husband had a shrimp and bacon quesadilla that he found delicious. His only suggestion would be that it was cooked a little longer so that the tortilla was a little more crispy. Other than that he was pleased. I had a pork stuffed burrito with Mole sauce. It had a longer name but I can t remember what that was. Boy it was full of flavor and I totally did not go hungry! Both my kids got nachos and while my daughter enjoyed hers very much, my son was less than pleased. He really just likes the plain chips. He s kind of a picky eater but he does enjoy your restaurant for the chips. I tried to order the nachos with the cheese on the side but the waiter suggested against it. My son said next time we come he will insist that he gets just plain chips! LOL! In addition, since we hadn t been there in a while I mentioned that we used to have some sort of rewards card for the restaurant. The waiter was nice and informed us that while they don t honor the card anymore there is still a rewards program. He looked my information up and sure enough we already have enough points to redeem so that was a nice surprise! We drive over from Northeast Philadelphia because we truly love the food and the hospitality. Hope to see you again soon!

I go for $2 tacos at least once a week for happy hour and I have never had a bad meal from the regular full menu as well. I would say the Tortilla Press is my favorite restaurant in all of NJ.

Ordered takeout last night, got chicken tacos and a chicken cheese quesadilla. Horrible. The chicken tacos were tasteless and dry. The chicken had no flavor an the cheese in the quesadilla s cheese looked microwaved. We were outside the restaurant when placing the order and after placing order man told us 15 minutes we went in around 10 minutes. Food was sitting on table cold. Will not be back.

This place is located in a small strip mall, but inside it was really nice and when I think "Mexican food" I think of those chain restaurants like Chilles, Chippotte, etc but the food is so different, fancy, and tasty it really is not fair to call this place a Mexican restaurant. I will be back for that pork and peanut dish!

Came after work on a Monday and it was quiet. Was quickly seated and served the house chips with salsa. I found the salsa's to be on the watery side and lacking in flavor. Additionally, neither of the salsa's were too spicy. The black bean dip was thick but had a relatively good flavor. I ordered the port carnitas tacos. The taco shell tasted fresh and was good. The pork was on the dry side but had a good flavor. The garnishes were standard. The star of the tacos was the Salsa Verde. (I believe they called it something else). This had a good flavor and was actually a tad spicy. Even though it was the star by no means was it amazing. Additionally the rice and beans tasted off but I am not usually a fan of beans.

Overall the experience was good, but the food left me craving for a more authentic Mexican experience with more authentic flavors and more spice. I do not know if I will be back based on the lack of flavor. 1 star for good serivce and another for the salsa verde.

Terrible food. The "chicken tortilla soup" was literally cold canned vegetables with diced chicken and some tortilla strips on top in a flavorless water broth. The steak quesadillas we're actually decent since they had steak and flavor to them but I won't be going back.

The service was quite good and the food very tasteful. The main room was VERY cold and quite windy due to the open window. When we asked if they could partially close, we were then moved to the other room, which was better temperature wise. I would return. The biggest problem in Collingswood is the parking. BUT I continue to return for the Chilli Rellenos.

Went there a few months back with a group of girlfriends. Ordered pictures of margaritas. None of the Margaritas seemed like they had alcohol in them. And for over $20 a pitcher, I expected some . We then opted to order the more expensive pictures. After spending $200 we didn't even taste a hint of tequila. I wrote a review on their page and heard from chef Mark saying that he wanted my email to contact me. I sent my email and never heard anything back. I messaged him on Facebook and I know the message was read because it is marked as read and he never answered me. anyone who's looking for a wonderful Margaritas to go with their food should probably go somewhere else.

The thing I like best about this place is the fact that they have mock duck tortillas. They're very good. So are the Spanish fries and plantains. They've also catered to my company, which is always welcome since their selection of little tacos are amazing. It's also appreciated that you get a spread of three amazing salsas (red, verde, and black bean paste) for your nachos as soon as you sit down).

Edit: They also have the best service I've ever had. Very friendly staff.

We are from Texas and love good Mexican food. The peanut Bbq pork was awesome. Great chips and salsa (very important!). Real bar with real margaritas, not the mix kind. Not too expensive. The rice could have been a little better. Very friendly and professional service, and nice clean space. Overall quite good.

Good is excellent here... Pretty much everything we ever ordered has been wonderful. Our personal favorite are the cheesesteak empanadas, the nachos, and the carnitas tacos.

Service is top notch and down to Earth.

We went early on a Sunday night and enjoyed fajitas. It was a very generous, fresh and
appealing in both taste and presentation feast. My wife is a vegan and the vegetables were served separately from the chicken and beef. Nice decor, very clean. The service was impeccable. Will be back again.

GREAT FOOD!
Just beware, when you use their WiFi, they ask for your email to allow you to connect, and then barrage you with offers and emails for specials numerous times a week.
