Good service and good food. Place was packed and they still did a great job.
Good service and good food. Place was packed and they still did a great job.
general store and saloon/restaurant are worth visiting. wall paper and ceiling are paper currency from many countries.
Old time fun, good maps available. Chile zippy n good
Tortilla flat is a cute little tourist place at the end of apache trail. They have a few tourist shops and a restaurant. Everything is a bit overpriced but thats to be expected. The only real draw back is the parking. All of the spots are off the main road and this leads to a lot of congestion with distracted drivers passing through or trying to park. It is worth stopping by for some ice cream on a hot day though.
Fun place to stop for lunch. Can be busy at lunch but the wait is worth it. They know how to move people s along. First come first serve at the bar, but beware the real saddle your sitting on. It s fun.
Always a gorgeous ride for visitors, really good food, not busy. Of course masks are required
Super fun restaurant with really good food. Lots of stuff to check out.
Beautiful scenery, pull a saddle up to the bar and sit awhile.
It was a amazing and breath taking trip.with lots for solo or family.
Excellent day trip. Good times. The food excellent and owners of the gift shop and the restaurant made you fell right at home.
Very busy weekend however Great service and tasty food.
Atmosphere was top notch! Sit on saddles at the bar! Food and service is good.
Great service and very cheerful staff. Great atmosphere. It is worth a stop in. However, I am not sure what everyone is going about on the chili. Seriously, this taste just like canned chili with some extra spice and powder. If this is homemade I can't imagine how. It just has that canned chili taste. I do really like the Green Chili Stew. It would be nice if they warmed up their tortillas. Maybe I am wrong about the chili, but the others at my table thought the same. I encourage you to stop in though.
I love coming here, the drive out offers great scenery. There are plenty of nice spots to stop and take photos or walk around a bit.
The town itself has a lot of character. I've eaten in the restaurant twice and both times the food was really good especially for the price. With friendly service to boot.
The shop also offers a selection of ice cream which I say is a must in the desert heat.
I'll probably come back here the next time I am in Scottsdale.
Super cool tiny little mountain town, The tortilla flat restaurant has amazingly good food and extremely great service
A different way to begin our AZ vacation. The restaurant, eclectically decorated with $1 bills inside, offered a typical bar food menu. Would love to see some healthier choices on their menu. Service was ok, and would encourage staff to be more attentive to their tables.
Serene, peaceful, God's beauty hand crafted...so blessed..Will be back to camp and swim!
Great place to ride my motorcycle with friends, relaxing and good food at restaurant.
The Killer Chili Burger was awesome, as was the Pulled Pork and Brisket. We all liked the homemade fries also. Friendly service!
It is touristy but it is a reminder of the Old West...great natural scenery
The ice cream was delicious!! The live band was awesome!! Great place to visit !!
The food was way over priced 35 dollars for tacos and a burger and 2 sasprallo
Beautiful ride through the mountains to get there. The saloon was pretty cool, saddles for barstools.
So fun! The food is good, too. Definitely a place to take out if down guests. Bring cash because the outside bar (where the band is) only accepts cash.
Love Love this little Tourist "trap" (a souvenir store, restaurant, and ice cream store) in the Superstition Mountains. Live bands on the patio from noon to 4 weather permitting (no rain or over 100)
Amazing!!!! My uncle got the fire chili dog and I got the pulled pork sandwich with prickly pear BBQ- Mouth watering good! The pork was deliciously tender and the hot dog was great, that chili was off the walls delicious! Great stop in and the Arnold palmer was refreshing for our hot day! Will definitely go back again! Worth the stop
Very touristy. Half the street smells like a sewer...the water treatment facility is adjacent to the main street.
Cool little saloon with friendly staff. Burger was tasty and the beer cold. Love the bar stools in this place.
Very unique place with great scenery along the way. Food was ok. Great photo op!
No vegan food, but fun atmosphere to have a beer at.
Good food, slow service on sunday morning, but to be expected
Ehhh. Kool place to visit if you love to travel and the drive itself is spectacular. The food at the restaurant isn't anything I would rave about. Pretty subpar cafe style food. I'd try something else to give it another shot though. The service though is on point.
Delish and fast food. Family friendly. Reasonable prices. Recommend the giant pretzel and burgers.
Good food and great experience. A one of a kind place.
Good was great. Great entertainment. And the ride out and back was great. Beautiful scenery.
The road getting there is bad. The cafe was good. Big burgers
Awesome place with dollar bills everywhere, walls, ceilings..
Super fun family place! Cute western town. The food was fine but nothing special.
Very touristy spot. The views are great, but the shops and food are basic. The food at the restaurant was ok, nothing to write home about.
Love tortilla flats ! Great restaurant and gift shop ! A must see !
For a little hole-in-the-wall town, this is a fun place to dine and hangout. You could easily sounds a couple hours just looking at the dollar bills stuck to the walls. Interesting to see all the different places people have come from.
Takes a long time to get there. Not enough parking, not enough seating, no big attraction.
I was with a friend who wanted to see falling stars! It is a safe place to do this!
Great food and historic western Americana atmosphere. Difficult to find and get to but well worth the visit. Be sure to bring a dollar for the walls! Also, be ready to buy somethin' from the gift shop, too.
Food at saloon was great and service special. Beautful views. Thanks for a great experience Tortilla Flats, was just what I wanted to see and enjoy in Arizona.
Beautiful scenery. This time of year, til Easter there is live entertainment 12-4 pm. If you like spicy chili, the restaurant should be in your plans. The ice cream shop and gift shop are also worth visiting.
We all had fun while we were there while the band was playing, they were pretty good
We love this little hidden gem in the middle of the mountains. Our family has been numerous times and even though the ownership has changed hands over the years the food and atmosphere have only improved. The bathrooms are a must see!
I really wasn't expecting this. For most, it would be considered a tourist trap, or even a hole in the wall convenience stop. However, when you go into the restaurant, you are met with the oddest site ever. A wall papered with dollar bills. Each one painted, signed or what have you. The place is busy and the food is a homestyled heavenly delight. Nothing seriously fancy that you can't cook at home. But it is done amazingly well. The owner is there to greet you at the door and EVERYONE working there seems happy to actually be there. I was glad I stopped and most certainly WILL be stopping again on my adventures.
I had chicken quesadillas and woke up at midnight with food poisoning. No doubt it was that or the tomato salsa that came with it. Definitely wasn't worth the money + a double tip.
This place has definite character! The walls are covered in personalized dollar bills that you can add to. Our waitress was friendly and our food came out quick. We ordered wings that were fresh and very hot. I recommend the prospector sandwich, very yummy.
Positive atmosphere and an amazing restaurant, highly recommended to visit with a group of friends
