I have never seen the luster of this place. It opens late and closes early. The view of the dry river bed is ugly. They do have live music from noon to 4pm and it is a good place to stop for a quick bite if you can get a seat on the weekend. Try the nachos. I'm pretty sure you get a whole bag of chips, or at least it seems that way. The people are nice and friendly is why it gets 4 stars

Nice little place not too far from the city. The wait can be crazy, but the food is good (a little short on the fries) and the drive up there is amazing. Afterwards you can continue down the road to see Apache Lake.

When they say there are dollars on the wall they are not joking! Food was fantastic, careful when ordering portions are huge, you will not leave hungry! Server was very nice and friendly as well! Highly recommend this place!

All of our party didn't want to eat so they said we had to sit at the bar . Not enough seating for our party at the bar. Their were 9 of us. 6 of the 9 are and we had to juggle seating. Service wasn't great. Food was ok

The hostess was unfriendly and boarded on rude. We didn't feel welcome. After waiting awhile to be acknowledge, we were lead to a table. No menus or information about who our server would be. We decided to just leave. It was a long drive to get to tortilla flats. We stopped at the little store to get snacks and water for the long drive home. The man at the little store was very friendly. Maybe he should train the restaurant staff.

My food tasted reminded me of my elementary school cafeteria food. I ordered the Bull Rider Burger. The buns seemed like buns I would buy in an 8 pack at the grocery store. And not the quality kind. Burgers seemed like it was a frozen burger. The server didnt ask how I wanted my burger cooked and I'm guessing that's because they are not able to prepare them any other way than well done due to them being frozen. The french fries also seemed like store bought frozen fries. I expected more for a $14 or $15 burger. We also came in as a group of 10 and they wouldn't seat us together. We sat at separate round tables and wouldn't allow us to put the tables closer to each due to fire code in an empty restaurant. We asked to sit an a section that had larger tables and they said no because the section was closed. I guess I expected them to try to better accommodate a large group that was going to spend a lot of money at their restaurant. But the older gentlemen host was rude from the start, followed by poor quality food and our group not being able to converse together we weren't able to salvage our dinner.

This place has character...I will give it that! Dollar Bills covering every surface inside the place with plenty of local artifacts on the walls. The service staff was friendly and efficient. The food was fine but nothing to write home about. The drive up offers some great vistas of the natural environment and fun roads to drive on (as long as you're not stuck behind slow traffic).

The next best thing about a great trip is an awesome place to take a break. Tortilla Flats offers rest, relaxation, great views, food for all tastes and hospitality. The people there really make the stop more enjoyable. Check out the gift shop, I know I really enjoyed it. Bring your off road wheels and get a first hand look at the surrounding areas, spectacular.

This out out of the way place is a wonderful experience. It is a bit of s drive to get there but the scenery is well worth it.

Tortilla Flat is a tourist attraction and while there is really not that much to do there other than learn about the storied history and do a bit of shopping there are 2 dining facilities there. We had lunch at the saloon and were immediately hit with the ambiance. This place is literally plastered the dollar bills signed by people from all over the world! The food is, in the opinion of all my dining companions above average. The portions are quite large, very tasty and a reasonably priced.
Tortilla Flat is a pretty good place to spend a few hours. I definitely take my friends there when they visit me in Apache Junction.

The drive up to Tortilla Flat was sooooo impressive!!! Scenic view of Superstition Mountains and Canyon Lake. Mind blowing! The scenic stops have information stands and it's quite interesting to read about the history. The first school house is now a museum. Story is impressively engraved in wood. Restaurant's service and food were fantastic!! It was incredible to visit!

We took our out of town guests here for a fun time. They loved sitting on saddles at the bar and the unique bathroom stalls in the ladies room. Always a nice place to visit and enjoy a good meal and refreshing drink.

I always make it out here on every trip. The drive is fun with breathtaking views. Particularly on a motorcycle. The restaurant has great food and service and the town has a really nice souvenir store.
