Great place, great food & service! Would recommend and go again!
It was a tourist place exactly what you expect. Very cool though
My first visit in 1969 there was only one little building .. snacks & souvenirs... Has grown just enough.... Great food from the restaurant, interesting large variety souvenir shop and the original little building is now a ice cream shop w homemade fudge. Definitely worth the trip!
If you are fortunate you will drive off a mountain on the way to Tortilla Flat. Total waste of time. Restaurant was a joke. Ice cream place smelled of body odour.
Nice little desert area. Restaurant was good. Gift shops nice. The drive there was fun on the windy roads.
Good food... wonderful staff.. cutest little gift shop....a must visit...
Burgers are worth the drive which is a beautiful drive with many scenic vistas
Great stop along 88, the prickly pear ice cream is a must.
Good distancing. Staff all working to protect customers. Traditional "dollar bill" wall paper is three layers thick, in places.
This place is always fun to go see. Food is good. Prices fine. I wish the gift shop had somethings that were a little nicer and not so touristy.
Get there early. The posted hours outside say open until 6 p.m. Several different groups arrived at 5:50 but they wouldn't serve any of us. They said that they had had plenty of business already.
Very nice ride to get there. Going though the state park and by canyon lake. Food is well worth the drive. Good atmosphere and fun. Service sometimes slow and certain times very busy.
Very kewl place to see. The road leading to this is absolutely gorgeous
An amazing place in the middle of nowhere. A marina to write home about, great old-time Western atmosphere, awesome food and beer, and service. Really good ice cream at the ice cream shop, and much memorabilia to see and enjoy.
A beautiful drive from the Gilbert area through Apache Junction. Major cacti, holy smokes!!!
Places out of time and in addition we eat very well
I had the best time. If you're in Mesa AZ. it's a must to go see
I never, ever tire of this place. I just can't get enough of it!
It's out of the way but worth the drive. I went back after dreamung about the chili!
Great ride to get there! Then a really neat place to visit!
Will be very entertaining
Funny easy
Gladly again
Absolutely love the patio. Beer is over priced but understandably so. The food in restaurant was ok.
Ice cold beer! Saddle up! See what $400,000 looks like up close.
Love that place..beautiful drive, many photo opportunities, and the chili is to die for WOW. Just sent friends from Panama..they loved it. Make use u write on a $ it will go up. Awesome weekend drive.
Love food & fun atmosphere. Usually a long wait but most times a band is playing in patio area. The patio sells food also.
Been here many times over the years and the food is good and no mater how busy they are it always comes fast
Awesome little touristy town with a couple shops plus a bar/restaurant. Has that old west feel and a great drive to get to it, very scenic & goes right by Canyon lake.
Carlos is one of the best employees this place has got my wife & I come up here all the time for the good food and to see him !!!!
No Frills
Food was Good
A little pricey but since off the beat n path that is to be expected
Worth the trip and sights
Very nice service.good food and a lot of fun
.inside is wallpapered with real dollar bills and old Western antiques
I am constantly dreaming about this place every time I go to Arizona you got to go to Tortilla Flats
you'll love it
There's a sign posted just outside of the restaurant that reads: "Good Food."
They're not wrong.
We went during the middle of a pandemic. The entire staff was wearing masks, but the thing you'll really notice is that the staff is fantastic.
The food was on another level. The Collosal Pretzel wasn't just big, it was delicious.
My chicken street tacos were brilliant. The chicken had a grilled flavor that really came through.
I highly recommend stopping in!
Food was deelicous, friendly staff. Family of 6 and everyone loved their food. My daughter even gave it a thumbs up. Ice cream was delicous and lots of cool things in the shop(: beautiful view too
Good food and service. Great little spot with beautiful scenery. Traffic is bad getting there though...even on weekdays. Weekends are out of control. 25 mph speed limit. Kind of a bummer on a motorcycle, but still worth the trip.
The hype is a bit too much about, it is nice to see everything if never been there before.
The old western town museum, Saloon, ice cream parlor inside the general store serves the best ice cream ever!!! I had the prickly pear & banana liche double scoop. The saloon there has these saddle seats and the walls of dollar bills every where.
Been there many times. Take all our out -of -state guests there.
Great spot for a cold one and the band was terrific.
Fantastic little mountain frontier "town" with a saloon, merchantile, ice cream and fudge shop, with an unbelievable drive through Canyon Lake with tight curves and mountain climbs.
MUST check out the saloon bathrooms and bar stools.
Excellent food; well worth the trip, even not counting the great house band. Loved my visit here!! Planning to go back when I'm in Arizona again.
Definitely a great place to go, take visitors to, or stop by after exploring the trails in the desert.
Nice place. Good service. Stopped in for a Margarita in the afternoon.
Good food. Way too long to wait and for such a long drive- although a pretty drive.
Fun place...live music at noon was great...food ok!
When you are in Arizona, you need to visit Tortilla Flats. Great place to step back in time.
Nice old west plaza. Mesquite Reuben was a good choice and better than expected. Ice cream and old fashioned sodas are very refreshing.
Fun destination, great ice cream, cool bar, food is ok.
Changed the whole menu apparently today. Way less options and less homemade and less tasty. Nothing the same. This was a favorite 5 star restaurant for our family for years, but unless they bring back the chimichangas, nachos with flavorful ground beef and real homemade hamburgers we won't be back any time soon.
Bar was still closed but it was ok first time there food took awhile.
TF is always a great place to take folks for the first time. Not the best food - standard fare, but the atmosphere is neat. And if you're a motorcyclist or sports car driver, the road leading to the restaurant is fantastic.
Great place to stop and wet your whistle after a day on the water. Unique decor (Dollar bills cover the walls) with all manner of period items throughout the establishment. Food was average pub food. The beer was frosty!
Delicious smoky flavor in the chilli on my burger. The Taco salad was also delish.
It's wonderful. Enjoying with our granddaughter Autumn.
best chili and cheese omlet. worth the drive, plus on a motorcycle fantastic
Always loved this place. Would be great if the road to there was better and the snowbirds didn't invade in the fall.
Love this place. I always bring out of state visitors here.
Drive the whole apache trail come here and get a beer
The ride there is the best part. Food is ok. The history of the place is interesting.
Its a little stop on the way to appachi lake and Roosevelt lake. Thers gifts ,food drinks etc. But I think its the gateway to breath taking sites and new discoveries.
Great burgers and taco salads. Friendly service. Love the dollars on the walls. The girls loved the paintings on the doors in the ladies restroom!
This place was great. Cold beer and really good food.
Cool little strip. Grab a beer, burger, or some tasty ice cream. Something for everyone if you just stop and explore.
