We spent 5 days at the Torrance Marriott. The room was nice. The staff was always helpful and friendly. They have a nice restaurant and bar that stays open late. They so have a offer bar that has breakfast offerings in the morning. They also have chargers for electric cars which was very important to us. Being able to charge at night and never having to worry about it during they day was a must for us.
Right across the street from the Del Amo Mall so great location if you like shopping. Room is nice and clean although bathroom is kind of small. Restaurant has good food.
The food was very tasty; however, it's a little pricey.
I feel they should have let us check in at 3 when we arrived. They were too strict on the 4 o'clock check in. They told me they would rush the room and would call me. They called right at 4 so it wasn't put on rush. I felt that the front desk people were not friendly and inviting.
The room was nice. The bed was comfortable.
I have been to much better Marriott Hotels than Torrance.
Very laid back hotel..great activities for adults and kids. The herb garden was a welcomed suprise.
The renovated rooms are really nice. It's minimalist looking with all the amenities you need.
Staff is always friendly and helpful and always recognize you as a valued guest.
Have stayed here more then 20 times in the past 2 years and it's always been a pleasure
Attended an event yesterday, which was probably 350 people. The facility was nice, clean bathrooms, but on this particular day the food was not good. I believe it was chicken marsala, which was dry, lacked flavor and some potatoes that were hard and stiff; the bread was warm, which was the best part of the meal. Luckily I don't usually go to these events for the food.
The hotel is in a great location, very family friendly area. Everything is not too far, for LA at least! The staff at the hotel was great and very accommodating!
Very clean and fancy. Had a corporate dinner there and felt like a king.
The Torrance Marriot Redondo Beach is a good hotel for hosting a small convention. Great rooms and several restaurants within walking distance. We have been here many times and will come back.
Very nice hotel with an outdoor pool, a rest in the lounge, Starbucks and restaurant. The hotel is right on the Del Amo Mall, close to a smart find and many restaurants. The hotel itself offers car rental and bicycle rental.
George, on the concierge services really made our stay especial! Good location, good room, awesome service!
Major difference between hall entrance and outside which are lovely and the room... that really look like Super 8 motel. Bathroom looks 20y old.. it really needs rework.
Worst: air conditioning is not working in our room despite technician intervention. It s only air, not cold air.
For the money, find something else!
Good hotel to stay their facility is very nice they have nice gym swimming pool. They have games too
Very nice staff. Starbucks directly in the hotel and a large mall and supermarkets in the immediate vicinity.
First room smelled like cigarettes, second room smelled a bit less. They charge $15 for basic Wi-Fi, and $25/day for parking. Very dated rooms. Amazing views of the Nordstrom rooftop parking lot across the street though! I guess the pool was decent and some of the staff were helpful so I can give 2 stars.
Social Loyalty & Responsibility
As life goes onward we need more of the goodness in our life, where ever we can find it.
It is also ours to make sure that we give it, even through there are times where it is not give.
To be brief this was the first time to come to California and being at a Marriott hotel. My colleagues and I arrived to be at a medical conference with some of California's best scholars at UCLA. Medical minds had come together to making our world a better place to live in. By the suggestion of a UCLA Division & the Florida physician I arrived with we stayed at this hotel. Everything was good until....
The Loyalty & Social Responsibility was dropped....
Now my colleagues and I got some outside food to eat, then brought it to the hotel. We had a long day and just wanted to be in our hotel. We wanted to see if it would be okay to eat around the restaurant area, so we asked would it be okay by a gentleman worker. He said it would be okay.
To make sure we asked another gentleman worker, he also said it would be fine. We thought this to be out of the ordinary, but kind. We still ordered some drinks from the bar, to balance with there kindness to add goodness and fairness for their kindness.
Shortly, as we were finishing up our meal and enjoying our drinks....
A female manager of the kitchen, maybe a manager...was sharp...in her tone and was like you cannot eat here. I am sorry, we do not allow food here from the outside. You can take your food, yourselves to other areas in the hotel; but not here.
Again I will say with a ...rude, sharp, get out of our way and go somewhere.....like dogs.....
Again...like we were dogs....
It was sad this feeling, for we had been at this hotel for many reasons of helping life's purpose of helping life. One of my physicians is even a member of this hotel, as a credit card holder. Despite him being loyal to the hotel or myself spending money most of the week at this restaurant..
It became very clear....we were not really important....
She made this clear....
Only present guest that she was hosting an event, making money in the moment ...just everything from this point is sad......
I really did enjoy this hotel for a moment, from the bartenders this week, to other staff, to the many people of California.....however...this hotel...
Just will not have me as a guest again and I would suggest to all pay attention of the social loyalty, responsibility, the feeling how people make you feel....
Watch those just covered in MASK, to get what they want and not care for you.
I have been to many places, many hotels around the GLOBE...this was the first of a time for me, that one manager was not working well with her team to convey messages, policies or even true care for the customer to say....we really may not allow this, but it will be okay this time. Just conveying a better message to her team, to customers...to make the world a better place...without hate ( rudeness ).
It does not change my teams ability to give the care we need to at all times. We still enjoyed being good to the staff who was, good to us.
Kindest Regards,
Kevin Washington

The torrance marriot is a very nice hotel, rooms are clean, great service
Best place, best staff. It's big and beautiful and in the heart of LA's South Bay.
Thank you for providing a hair dryer for those like me who forget to pack one. And thank you for providing a tooth brush, tooth paste, soaps & shower needs for those of us who fly from out of town and their lugages are not delivered with them, ugh. I couldn't figure out the coffee maker though. But considering, that was minor. Very nice, clean stay. All employees were extremely polite & acomadating. Thank you!
The room was nice and clean. The staff were friendly for the most part, but the hotel breakfast is very overpriced. They were also doing renovations one day, so the only breakfast option was the buffet, which was very overpriced.
Banquet hall was nice and staff extremely professional.
It is convenient to shopping and facing the fashion street.
We have a meeting at this hotel. I love this hotel. Clean and comfortable. Staff was kind..
Needs some updating to the rooms and hallways but the lobby and common area is nicely done! Staff is very pleasant and attentive, I would recommend.
The hostel is really beautiful, the staff is nice, we had a small cleaning issue but I don't think it's usual
Hotel is nicely renovated. Nice cafe and pretty lobby
Very comfortable and clean. This hotel is near almost everything. We really enjoyed our stay here. I highly recommend this hotel
We had a wedding at the marriott hotel. The service was great and the place was stunnimg. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a big event
Went to Heriz, computer slow but was treated very well by their employee.
I was only there for a convention and did not stay in the hotel but I was not impressed. There is only one ATM on the property which was out of order. This was a huge inconvenience. There's only one restaurant as far as I could tell and the menu seemed limited to me. There are concessions available at the front desk at mini bar prices so don't be shocked. And, they only carried Pepsi, not Coke, but that's my personal issue.
Excellent hotel! Highly recommend! Near the beachfront!
It is very clean and quiet atmosphere around the place. Lots of trees outside of window makes me feel in the woods. I like there very much.
A great location set directly next to the Del Amo Fashion Center. 20 Minutes from LAX and tucked well outside of the hustle and bustle of downtown. Torrance is a great Option for the thrifty traveler to the South Bay area. Ample parking and restaurants galore in the area. I suggest going to the mall food court area and enjoy many many culinary options.
Had an event here recently. The lobby was very clean and envighting. The food was good and the staff were very responsive. Would definitely come here again. Heard they had an excellent Sunday brunch, looking forward to try it.
Loved the accessibility to the shopping center and restaurants by foot.
Rooms were nice and clean, staff was very friendly and helpful. Location was great it's next to a mall and very close to some great restaurants.
Relaxing place to spend the afternoon playing outdoor games or watching some sports on TV over drinks and simple food.
We were there for a karate tournament and had a great time! Didn't stay in the rooms but the lobby was awesome and the banquet rooms did great for the tournament. Enjoyed having a starbucks inside and the outside eating patio area!
Great location near shopping, entertainment, food, and the beach
Remodeled and classy. Close to del amo mall and on sitesure hertz
I stayed here about a month ago and I must say, this hotel exceeded my expectations. The woman (I do not recall her name) that was working in the elite lounge went way above and beyond. She was very welcome as soon as I came in the door, assisted me with whatever I needed and just made me feel extremely welcomed. Even though the hotel is a bit outdated, the staff make up for lack of style. I will definitely stay at this hotel and recommend to anyone who is staying in the Torrance/Carson area.
Classic American hotel with large room. Nothing is missing.
Attended a great event with great service by their staff.
Bar has a nice outside area with hammocks and games. Decent drinks
Nice staff and nice rooms. Good pool and patio areas to relax. Parking structure plus next door to great mall with good food options
The ambience was nice but the space felt kind of close together
Didn't stay there, but hotel looked very nice and upscale. Rented a car from Hertz. They have a business inside hotel. Very friendly and easy to work with
Can't rate the hotel right now. I was only there because Hertz was inside had to pick up a rental on my way to work.
I was here for an event. Everything was great. Free WiFi in the lobby, great food at the cafeteria and everything else was outstanding.
This hotel was simply amazing from start to finish. Staff members were so helpful, friendly, and with that fantastic mix of formality and dedication to service. I really loved the waiter's sweet attitude for he added vegetables on the plate, and he also accommodated my request immediately. I knew I was in a place where everyone cared passionately.
I was here for a convention. Seemed nice. Had no problems
There was a snack bar, rather looked like a snack pantry, that had lots if snacks from chips, to ice cream, to cookies. There was an elegant dinner station with tables. When you enter there were free apples with napkins.
Stayed here for 3 nights on business. Nice hotel, clean, friendly staff, and located right by the Del Amo Fashion Center mall. Aside from that, there's not too much interesting stuff in the area, but the hotel itself if quite nice. Has a pool, limited fitness center, great lobby bar / restaurant with outdoor seating area, and a Starbucks. Pretty experience overall.
The newly remodeled dining area is great. It will appeal to those who enjoy fine dining. The menu is a little limited but still offers a wide variety of cuisine. The bar also serves many fine crafted drinks.
Overall I like this hotel and location but I ve always felt that the rooms could use a major upgrade. We stay here a couple times of year and during this last visit I was very happy to find out that the rooms are being completed gutted. Can t wait to see!
Holiday party in reception hall was very nice, but Happy hour and appetizers in the cramped hallway could have been better thought out, reception hall was beautiful and spacious.
Wanted to rate you higher because it's a nice property but you failed miserably at not having enough staff to handle Sunday morning breakfast/brunch. Despite the fact a large wedding party was staying in the hotel. One of your brand new managers had to step in for our request for 2 Bloody Mary's and she had no clue how to make them! Even worse, she thought the Bloody Mary Mix already had the vodka in it and served them with no ice. She claimed she was taught by her manager the alcohol was already in the mix. We showed her on the bottle how it said "non-alcoholic mix". Let's hope she hasn't made and charged/ripped-off too many people for them!
Nice hotel, convenient location to Torrance, Gardena, and Redondo Beach.
Love this place, enjoyed the event services at the time provided for our group event. Thank you again for your services two years in a roll.
Upscale hotel feel, great location, bars and restaurants. Only thing is that it feels and smells old, like the hotel hasn't been remodeled for 15 years or something.
