Great amenities, clean locker rooms, nice fitness center

Excellent structure, you can also eat well and spend the right amount. Highly recommended.

The beds slope to the side and make you roll off. The pillows don't give any support. The shower has no pressure. There is a sign that says the building contains chemicals that cause birth defects. Not a kids friendly hotel.

Probably one of the best gyms I have ever been to. You can find a class for any fitness level here and their weight rooms are well organized, clean, and have a wide variety of exercise tools. I especially like the fruit flavored waters available in the gym. The locker rooms are also very clean and spacious.

The daycare is also exceptional and the kids always seem to have so much fun playing there.

After working out I recommend getting a smoothie at the cafe in the center of the hotel lobby.

My only complaint would have to be the sound system in the main gym class room (Gym 1 I think). The amp is turned up too high which causes distortion in the speakers (or the speakers are damaged). They could fix this problem by turning down the volume just a notch or two to make the sound better.

Super clean gym outside no mask needed, starbucks here good food restaurant, swimming pool from 3.5 ft to 5ft, inside gym , professional & friendly staff and wifi.

Really nice hotel in a fantastic area. The lobby restaurant has a decent happy hour, the freakin nachos are amazing and 10$ which is cheap for LA. My room was odd, it had no furniture other than a desk chair, and sometimes you just want to sit in a nice chair and watch TV. Otherwise it was clean, bright and comfortable. The toiletries were good quality. Overall one of the best hotels I've stay at in the area.

We love this place. The gym and the kids progans are our main reason. It is also a good place to use as a second office. Wish the had more spots with power and fixed the broken outlets, but always easy to get a place to sit.

The hotel looks great and has a very modern look. Nice rooms but didn't get to explore the amenities. The only thing I didn't like is that they charge $19 for parking and then some $30 room tax after the fact.

I recently stayed here with my girlfriend and we enjoyed the ambience a lot. I just wish that the pool/bar area had music or a band on Saturdays. We found ourselves having to go out to enjoy a drink and music.

Clean rooms. Service was alright, had to call a couple times to get towels and amenities. Good location.

Hotel was just ok. If you are really into working out this is the place for you. Really needs a remodel to the rooms. Lobby is super nice the rooms out badly out of date. Service was not so great. Tried to get my room upgraded when I checked in, which another employee told me that should be no problem, but it was a huge problem. This hotel did not seem as customer centric as the other Marriotts I ve stayed at.

I have stayed here about 20+ nights in the past year. Rooms are clean, the restaurant (Citrus) is exceptional and truly under-rated. Atmosphere of the adjunct sports club makes for a very up-beat environment and amenities...happy hour at the bar is always busy with club and business travelers...GREAT HOTEL! Free full breakfast for Marriott Rewards members is a great plus.

Gorgeous and very modern hotel with beautiful views! Very friendly staff. Parking in the garage is a little inconvenient if you don t do valet, but overall great experience!

This is a concierge class gym and resort, no detail overlooked.

Came out here for a kids bday.

Venue - This place is very modern, fancy, and high end equipment in the gym. They have a few pools, kids splash area with slides and a POOL BAR too.

Location - Hidden thats for sure and would have never known of this place if it wasn't for the invite or waze.

Parking - They offer Valet parking here and they also have a large parking structure right in front.

Staff - Employees here are very nice, helpful and have positive attitudes.

Overall place is legit and really nice. Would come back and highly recommend it.

Stayed overnight to attend a wedding the next day. Rooms were dated and oddly designed. Reception was hesitant to give us late check out.

The hotel itself was beautiful, however the room was a bit too warm at night. The complimentary breakfast buffet definitely made up for it though.

Great spot. Great bartenders and wait staff. I've been coming here for about 6 years. Michelle at the gym's front desk is fairly new, but she provides excellent customer service. I was very pleased with her help.

Hotel itself is very good, good rooms with beautiful views, perfect gym, good breakfast although it could be better, also could be even better if they had sleepers and people on reception were a little more friendly. Overall I recommend this hotel to everyone, especially to gym people.

I love the hospitality of the staff. I frequently walk over there during my breaks at work and I love the smiles from all the staff and their friendliness. It makes the drinks I buy at their little cafe taste that much better!

Not for Vegetarians. Unfriendly Chef. Hubris will not help in long term. The hotel recently changed their menu and it sucks. Request for a pasta or vegetable soup will come back with a response as sorry.

Moved from NYC and joined this gym. Very nice, clean facilities. Great variety of classes, from yoga to boxing - all included in membership. Friendly, smart trainers.

I booked the room thinking it would be family friendly because they had a kids splash pad. The bathroom only had a stand up shower with only a glass wall on part of it. There is no door to close the shower and no bath tub. This was extremely frustrating to get a 1 and 3 year old bathed, especially the 1 year old.

There was a sign on the door near one of the side entrances (not very easy to notice and there is not one by the main door) that states the building contains materials that are known to cause cancer as well as birth defects. Such a beautiful hotel and sports club. Whether you're there to relax in one of their nicely decorated rooms or enjoy the gym, spa amenities they offer. You'll have a great time here. The kid friendly environment is a plus if you're doing a family vacation. They offer a kids pool, slide, and hot tub (warm tub) haha. The bar area is nice and cozy. They have a juice/smoothie bar also for more healthy option. The restaurant offers a nice variety of tastey food. Didn't try the spa which is something we'll do on our next visit.

I love it here. It s super clean and there is no gym smell. Hiphop with Mookie is super fun. I can t wait to take more classes

We loved it here. The breakfast was a 7/10, the service was 10/10, the bar was a 10/10, the rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. The shower was really nice too.

In short... It was okay but I won't stay there in the future. I have traveled all over the world (for work and on vacation) and I have had some great and not so great experiences at various hotels in the U.S. and in Europe. My visit to this hotel fell into the latter category. Because I travel extensively, I ALWAYS check the beds (and other areas) upon check in. On this visit, it was VERY evident that the bedding on one of the beds had not been changed between guests. I was cool about it though because the rest of the room appeared okay. So, I called down to have the bedding changed. Several hours later, after several calls from the front desk to find out whether housekeeping corrected the issue, the housekeeping supervisor and another worker come to the room with sheets. They changed the sheets on both beds. Cool right? Well here's where it went wrong. The sheets that were put on one of the beds was ripped. I don't mean a slight tear. The entire corner of the fitted sheet was split in half. Therefore, the mattress was exposed because it couldn't be put on the bed properly. Now, to give them room to work, I went into the restroom while the changes were made. So, I didn't see anything but I remember the laughter quite clearly. I didn't know why they were laughing but after they left and I checked the bedding it became clear. I immediately went downstairs and communicated the issue to the front desk. To the credit of the representative, she offered compensation (points or a meal card) for the inconvenience. I declined because I didn't need compensation. What I would have settled for was the bedding changed correctly the first time. Barring that, it would've been helpful if the bedding was changed after I informed them of the ripped sheet. You would assume that's what happened next right? Well, you would be wrong. A week stay and it NEVER happened. I didn't sleep in the bed so it appeared 'made up' so I can understand why the regular maid service didn't change it. But the supervisor?? Maybe a follow up from the front desk to make sure the issue was addressed? Nope. Nothing. Nada. Maybe I should've waited to informed them that I would write this review after I checked out? Lol

Totally of the beaten path if you are traveling for work, but this place hasa full gym and lap poo. I mean a FULL gym! Good hotel, good outdoor spaces.

Strange hotel. Desk help said it is one of two Renissance hotels that are sports centers. Location is in business district, no restaurants within walking distance. There is a big fitness center and spa included. The pool had ropes to divide pool for laps and a large time clock nearby. I think lots of locals have memberships at the health club. Covered parking. One small cafe, one bar. Lobby was lovely, but surprised how boring the rooms were. No large choice of tv channels, WiFi slow, there was a coffee maker. Beds ok. Front desk staff helpful.

Had a quick beer at the bar.. kinda quiet so we were 1 and done.

Visited the restaurant with friends. 2 of my friends had their kids at the childcare facility. They were very satisfied with the childcare! It was a Tuesday night, they have tacos at the pool and a taco deal that comes with a beer at the restaurant. It was a good night out. I will definately be back.

Parking was fun to try & get to. A lot of the spaces in the parking garage are reserved for other nearby businesses. Valet driveway was full of cars so no chance to unload anything large or heavy. Rooms were nice & clean.

Have nothing to report, only stopped to pee. It was spotless before AND after my visit.

Have had lunch here on a few occasions. The food is absolutely delicious and the hotel is gorgeous. Parking is a little difficult but it's also within walking distance of my office. They have the best fried chicken plate here. All of the food is delicious.

I use it for the gym. The gym is premier with great locker room, private classes for dancing, yoga, karate and full gym

What a great hotel concept. The fitness center attached to this place is top notch, the kind of place I wish I could have closer to home. The coffee shop serves up smoothies, appropriately enough. Tragically, servers in the restaurant all forgot I existed and wasted a lot of my time.

Work trip was postponed, so cancelled reservation with one day notice. Hotel has a three day policy, so they charged my personal credit card $200.00 bucks. 72 hours - are you kidding me? When did Marriott place short- term profits above customer loyalty? GM never even returned my call.

The staff here is amazing. They always go above and beyond. They were trained and raised right! I remember I was walking to the hotel to go up to my room when my hot chocolate spilled. It spilled all over the lobby. Two individuals immediately came and were so kind about it. They didn't even ask my name or room number, they remembered who I was. A few minutes after being in my room, I hear a knock on the door, they brought me a new hot chocolate at no extra charge. They are truly amazing. I've stayed here several times and will continue to. Great hotel!

Come here every year for a gymnastics meet. Really look forward to staying at the Renaissance Club Sport. The hotel is very bright and modern in styling. It has a full health club right in the same facility which is the easiest to use of any club I've ever been too. Nice pool as well. Beds are really comfortable. The bar and restaurant are surprisingly good. Always marvel at the $$$ cars waiting at the entrance for valet parking.
