Not bad considering the location. Hardly knew I was in the middle of Los Angeles except for the view. Great, secure, well lit, comfortable, business friendly, conveniently located digs. The concierge breakfast leaves a lot to be desired.

Hotel lobby and pool were great. I wish they had an outdoor jacuuzi but it was connected via a large outdoor window. The rooms were nice but the carpet felt a little older. The rooms were also a little bare with just a bed and a small chair. Would recommend maybe a couch?

We booked 30 rooms in the place and had their hall rented out for 3 days in a row. even after all the business we gave them they upcharged us on the rooms for smoking OUTSIDE the room on their balcony! $300.00 extra for going outside, sliding the door shut, and smoking. Unbelievable.
The reasoning behind this ridiculous upcharge is because somehow, from outside, the smoke gets into the carpets.... Total nonsense. $300 for air freshner.
I would not recomment this place to my worst enemy!

Hotel very good, but noisy at the rooms above the bar outside.

A little outdated. And there were dishes just sitting outside a private rental room for at least 7 hours

Parking was a little confusing. The hotel lobby was beautiful and the event room was comfortable.

Rooms were so well maintained and clean. HUGE thumbs up to all the cleaning service for their hard work each and everyday.

The staff gave excellent service standards. They are great in communication, polite, and they even send your luggage to your room. As I've booked a single room on the Grand Executive Floor, the reception staff gave me a detailed explanation of the perks that I will be enjoying during my stay at the hotel. They also have good food for dinner. Highly recommended!

Great service, lots of parking and lots of shopping across the street.

Attended a convention in the ballroom. Seems like a nice place. Not sure why you have to pay to self-park, but whatever.

I had a wonderful stay at this location! Perfect, right across from the mall and restaurants! The Marriott interior decor did an amazing job with the style and colors! I also like the pool layout look too! Just Awesome

Very clean rooms. The best part is that there is carpet on floor, which felt good on feet.

Very nice hotel. Rooms need an upgrade but the hotel in itself is very nice.

We visited for an event. Parking for the event wasn't indicated so we parked in the hotel parking structure. The rate for parking was outrageous so after learning the parking would not be validated by attending the event I moved to a store parking lot next to the hotel. The gate was up, by the way when I exited. Not sure if that was intentional or not. There was very little interaction with anyone from the hotel during the event so I can't really comment past the parking. Facilities seems adequate.

Beautiful location. Will be staying in the summer so will review again! Watch this space!

- Heat does not work!
- You have to pay for the internet $15/day!!
- Parking is extra $30/day
- Blankets are extremely thin.
- The room is sooo dusty!! Not clean air, you wake up coughing!

Really nice hotel had a blast at the pool with family, only reason i give a 4 is because their is no free wifi unfortunately

I m trying to be a little measured because the hotel was fine until this morning when they started construction above us at 7 am. It seemed like they were trying to be gentle with the hammering but it was still loud hammering when we were trying to sleep in for the first time on our only day to sleep in after a busy schedule of early wake ups. Then the loud buzzing started (drilling or sawing?). I understand that construction needs to happen, but I think it should be started later in the day and not the first thing to wake you up or the hotel should warn you in advance that you don t get to determine when you re going to wake up. A call to the front desk was unhelpful as well as they told us sorry and that there s nothing they can do. I guess a place to sleep isn t guaranteed here at this hotel. At the very least, ask to get a floor away from the construction. I think floors 12+ are all under repair/renovation.

The upsides: nice lobby; extra towels; tv with access to streaming sites Netflix (with your own login), YouTube, and HBO (free); comfy beds and pillows; friendly staff

Further downsides: If you have a large group/conference, it seems hard to get hot and fresh starch items (eg: pancakes, waffles all cold), but it s likely something that cannot be helped on the kitchen side. Apparently there is free WiFi but it s not noted so in their guidebook in the room OR on the webpage it brings you to. It says it s $15/day but the key envelope says they won t charge you (didn t see that until checkout ).

We were waiting for a car from Hertz in the hotel. Everything was clean and staff asked if we needed anything.

Lobby and bar are nice. Rooms are old and outdated. Rooms have a balcony which is nice. Concerge is 2 stories yet small. Gym layout is a little weird and is hot. If the rooms were renovated this might be a 4 star hotel.

Excellent place for a meeting. Starbucks and restaurant in the lobby. Nice outdoor space with fire pit to enjoy a drink.

The Torrance Marriott is a wonderful Hotel the staff is courteous and kind the hotel is clean and respectful of their guests

Marriot employees were very nice, was there for an event, I would have given it 5 stars but the food wasn't as good as I have known it to be

The lobby and out door patio area are quite nice. I was not able to connect to the free lobby WiFi though (LGV35 ThinQ w/ Google Fi). WiFi for guests also is not free unless you are a rewards member, which is unfortunate.

We specified two queen beds in our reservation. They only included a queen and provided a twin bed after we made it clear to front desk staff about our problem. We ordered extra blankets and never received them, had to go up front to remind them and pick them up. Little to no effort was put to solve the issues in hand. Overall horrible service wouldn't recommend.

A surprisingly stylish and fun hotel to stay at in Torrance. Love the hammocks to kick back in, as well as the pool and outdoor seating area. Love the lawn games too. Plus a friendly staff from valet to check-in to cleaning staff. Had not stayed here before, but will again.

After a long day of driving and some meh hotels along the way, this property was a welcomed relief! Fabulous staff, clean and spacious rooms and very quiet for its urban location.
We had a meal at their on property restaurant too. Good food but typical hotel prices. (Kinda high) But at the end of a long day, it was all very good!
Highly recommend!

Torrance Marriott has always been one of the best hotels in the heart of Torrance. It has a fantastic lobby with concierge service, full bar an excellent banquet/meeting rooms. At $21 I felt that there parking was a little expensive though.

I love this place! The staff is extremely accommodating, the rooms are clean and comfortable, and the amenities are truly fantastic. The bar scene in the lobby is a lot of fun on the weekends and the people watching is a blast!

It's fine. Not much else to say. Nothing stands out. Room seemed a bit dated for my taste but nothing was really wrong.

This review is strictly towards the Claims Department that decided without adequate information that they would not take any responsibility for a Slip and Fall personal injury Claim on December 1, 2018, I was going to a Christmas party at the Hotel and Slipped and Fell on an Uneven Curb, the sidewalk just disappeared from under my feet and I fell hard. The yellow curb had no "Watch Your Step' markings nor was there any rails to make you aware it dropped off to a handicap ramp. My complaint was left with the claims department that took no responsibility or fault for my fall, just said that it was an accident and they weren't responsible, the hotel basically told me they don't have cameras, I went to urgent care and had a sprained wrist with a busted right knee and severe back pain due to the fall. My Claim has been addressed with a very unfair, its not our fault. So Im writhing this review to make others aware that this uneven curb is there and if you slip and fall on it, the hotel is not taking responsiblity. I just hope no one eles falls or has fallen. This area is definitely unsafe for their customers.
