Views are good. A lot of stores that all look very similar. A good place to spend a afternoon on weekends

The hours are not great for working schedule people, but they constantly host night events and openings- there is so much to see while there it will and should take more than one trip. Please support the arts.

Amazing art from many different artists. Lots of different styles. Watercolors, acrylics, oils, prints, everything. Awesome place to spend a few hours.

The Torpedo Factory is an old Torpedo Factory - where torpedoes were built. It has now been converted into an art haven of three stories full of art studios and galleries. This is a really cool place. You can find all styles of art from paintings and statues to pottery and jewelry. This is definitely worth a visit if you have any appreciation for art or individual talent. You can also see the local museum inside and the Torpedo remnants. Highly recommended spot right on the harbor.

Filled with beautiful artwork by local artists. My step-father used to have a studio here and he had a great experience here. I absolutely love coming here when I get the chance. Each time its a new experience with different variations of pieces.

I have liked this artist studio-filled building since I first saw it in the 1980s. One of my favourite sites in Old Town Alexandria! I took my wife there on our first trip to my home area.

Fun place to spend some time walking around and viewing some fantastic art; both on display and for sale. Parking is tight, but several garages are nearby, ranging from $7 and up for the day. The closer you are, the more it will cost.

Great location in the middle of Old Town Alexandria with a three floors of exhibits of original artwork ranging from textiles to ceramics to sculptures to paintings of all sorts. You also get the opportunity to interact with the artists themselves, and sometimes see them as they work. There's so much art here that to see (and appreciate) everything, I need multiple visits. As it is original, hand-crafted art, prices tend to be high--but not necessarily high in the context of original art. Torpedo Factory also offers adult and children classes.

Plenty of restrooms, gracious center staff and artists. Visit was first Saturday in December after the Scottish Christmas Walk. Festive atmosphere, local musicians providing holiday music. Vast diversity of artistry. Something for everyone from media, size and price. Nice TF gift shop.

Can spend hours in this wonderful place. What a great way to convert a factory in to an Art Center. Tons of shops to either window shop or looks for that perfect gift or piece of art to add to your collection. Such a variety to choose from and pretty much something for everyone's taste.

So much great art can be found here in all types of media. Most of the time you are talking with the artist themselves since it is a gallery/work space.

Beautiful artists Village with a Big variety of Art. They often have new exhibits and activities that are fun. And there are plenty of restaurants and ice cream places around. In addition to the walk in front of the water that is connected to the GW King & biking trail.

Huge AF! Something for everyone to see, beautiful location right on the river, and amazing Art League classes held onsite. Love this place!

Fun place with great artists, many busy doing their thing. And some torpedoes of course. And a little marina with speedboats and a paddle steamer.

It's in a great location in Old Town, didn't really have a reason to go, just wandered in. If you're looking for studio space it looks like a nice spot!
