This place is amazing I've gotten several gifts here and all by different artists. It's part gallery/art space it's really really cool.

Great historical site that visited for the first time!

Interesting art galleries with good a/c to escape into on a hot day.

A very interesting place and a great example of an 'art hub'. Free to look around and enjoy all the work on display. What a great use of the space!

In historic downtown Alexandria is this gem. It is an art gallery as well as an art studio for several artists. You can watch them work or view and admire the displays in their gallery. The building is 3 stories- each filled with talented artists. Art can be purchased onsite directly from the artist. If you go and the artist is not present , contact information is available.

In comparison to Massachusetts like museum this one is ok, note very organized, some expositions have logical descripancy. Overall is fine. That's why they call it "the art".

A very fun way to spend an hour or two by the waterfront. Many local artists have various types of artwork on display, and for sale. There's something here for everyone. Affording something you like is another matter...

Tired space and mostly uninspired artists. Worn out and past relevance...

Art. Small booths. I wish I was wealthy so I could buy everything I liked.

This place is cool, until it's not. You have to have the big bucks to buy anything and the artists can make it awkward. Hopefully the kids' activities are what's keeping this place afloat. Some really weird shops too. And the cafe that had waterfront service closed down. Boooo.

A very nice idea. The prices are ok'ish...you can find original things here, some for good price and some are quite expensive, but that's art...

Every time we visit this incredible place we are amazed at the variety and artistry of what we see. It is great to watch some of the art being created in the studios and meet a few artists. The parking garage across the street make it easy to visit, too.
