It is a very beautiful palace k gives us access to a unique landscape
The Seteais Palace, an elegant palace, was built in the 18th century by the Dutch consul, Daniel Gildemeester, on a piece of land provided by the Marquis of Pombal. Currently, it belongs to the hotel company Tivoli Hotels & Resorts.
For the construction of the building it was necessary to demolish a "stone hill" and create a viewpoint, and a loft and kitchens (outside the palace) were demolished by the following owners. During this period only one of the palace bodies was built, the rest being the work of the Marquis of Marialva.
Historic fairy tale hotel. If you like 18th century style, you don't want to miss this one.
Great location, quiet, beautiful!
Staff very friendly and warm! Great for a relaxing days. The classical architecture and decor makes our stay a unique experience.
A wonderful stay and the wife. Close to the center of Sintra and the sights. Phenomenal service, with lots of comfort. A 19th century hotel with all the comforts and modernities of the 21st century
Have a coffee to be able to access the interior and see some of the rooms in the common areas.
Painted walls, carpets and spaces with tradition.
I don't know what the rooms are like, but I imagine.
Simply superb! It is really worth visiting. The restaurant / bar is expensive but worth it. A great experience.
Excellent 19th century Palace turned into Hotel in Sintra
Not so much to see here, 3-4 min , make pictures from outside and go.
It's like being in the last century. The decoration and the environment. A lot of glamor and serenity.
A beautiful Hotel simple but incredible and possible to visit the outside without staying and take beautiful photos. Located just behind Quinta da Regaleira
Without a doubt were excellent moments spent there in that place, very good times. There is nothing to point. I have no reason to complain.
Very beautiful.
With spectacular views.
That place is awesome, it's a turn travel to the past
Beautiful hotel and amazing pool. Beds were comfy and staff was very friendly. Nice resteraunt and bar too.
The hotel is beautiful and the staff is very friendly and helpful. The grounds are neoclassical and also beautiful.
bunch of idiots that will not allow you to take pictures on the garden. That's PUBLIC PROPERTY.
Amazing palace to stay in with perfect location to see the palaces. Friendly and attentive staff. Highly recommend!
Super nice restaurant. Dishes of good quality. Very rare parking in Sintra! Highly recommend for breakfast, lunch, tea and dinner! It's not as fancy as it sounds. More chic casual style. Very Good 7
Great location... very close to all the major attraction in sintra. Good room sizes and very good standard of cleanliness. The very best views can be seen from this hotel.Excellent service, value for money
A short stop to admire views. The interior is private and they let us in. I recommend that at least accompany the visit with a review of its history and its legend that is worth knowing. Look for "legend of the seven ays!"
Exquisite and dreammy place to stay for a weekend! Awesome view and a beautiful garden!
Very nice, historical Hotel in beautiful landscape!
Great place to stay. My wife soaked in the sense of luxury and beauty. Staff is aiming to please.
Okay, it's pretentious. But it's also an actual palace, so perhaps a little pretension is warranted here? Cream teas were lovely, coffee too, snacks were nice and the view is great, even in the winter. Didn't stay the night, so don't k how about the beds.
Beautiful place in a fantastic location, completely overpriced and mediocre service. A pity.
Well preserved building, sympathy in the service, well-kept garden, stunning view.
Great hotel. Very attentive staff, personalized treatment. The palace is extremely well maintained. The grounds very beautiful.

Very well maintained history site. With traditional refinement. Reception by staff excellent !! Thanks.
Excellent service, beautiful facilities. Recommended
Place paradise in this mountain of mystical charm, both by day and by night.
The food was superb and the service was bar none. The bed was soft and comfortable. The shower at the hotel was difficult to get into and out of, and I'm a young and spry early 30s man. I realized I had to place a larger towel on the floor to ensure that I wouldn't slip on the gorgeous marble. The pool was lovely, and the location is phenomenal. Some of the rooms did not have elevator access and were on the other side of the space. Every room was meticulously designed with gorgeous furniture. The 18th century piano which has only 3 like it in the world is phenomenal (even if the story isn't true). The breakfast was phenomenal.
I think the facility is gorgeous and I'd rate it 4.5 stars if I could. But because of some of the slight issues I experienced that I'm leaving out to be more neutral I'm rounding down.
Exclusive, exceptional, completely service oriented oasis
I only had access to the public part of the hotel, it was not a guest, but the view is lovely. On the lawn next to the entrance are weddings that should be like fairy tales!
Nice to see and to notice the garden with the labyrinth. You can enjoy a beautiful view and the entrance is free.
I have never come across such a rude concierge. I was there in April 2017and his name was Pedro. When I wanted to take a picture of him for a report he grabbed me, ripped my phone of my hand, and held me until I deleted his picture. In the process he hurtmu arm. Not something I would expect from a five star hotel personnell. They should hire more professional people that do not loose their temper.
Great venue for lunch, dinner or afternoon tea. Reccomend
Excellent service and ambiance. The environmental scenario leads us to travel in time with great refinement. Highly recommend.
I can not understand why there is no sustainability of the governmental part to have this building of great beauty only and only with cultural purpose
Beautiful hotel with stunning views of Sintra. It allows you to visit the hotel before booking and thus book the best room. Very friendly staff and the historic palace has a well-preserved interior and a wonderful garden.
The hotel's food is also diverse and good.
Have done tea room
Sublime place
Simply without comments ... Unforgettable ... TOP 10!
I enjoyed going with my friends a lot even though it was only one night it was unbelievable they are very nice and friendly every time we walked we felt like we were in a fairytale I just wanted to know if by chance they served brunch because I want to go back with my mom for her birthday?
Wow what an amazing experience. I recommend everyone get married here from now on.
It is a wonderful place. Great setting, beautiful rooms, food very well prepared and superb service. Very good!
Magic place. Too bad the service is as arrogant as it is inefficient ...
Beauty and grandeur.
The Seteais Palace was built in the 18th century, with gardens in the form of lush labyrinths. Portal and beautiful avenues. For the lover of photography and architecture, it is an inexhaustible environment of challenges.
