Times Union Center - SMG Worldwide Review

It was a great night just wish the empire would have won !!!!

The concert and arena was nice but the parking garage was terrible. Worst parking ever for any event I've ever been to. Literally took almost 30 mins to be able to move out of parking.

Had a great time a times union center e everything was good food drinks and good coustmer service

Went to a WWE show and loved it everything was perfect..

The Elton John show was the best concert I have ever seen.

The building staff was very professional. Security was extremely pleasant. Building layout was easy to navigate

They really could update the seats. It's ok. Nothing special, same since the late 80's early 90's.

The construction and the lack of planning has made this place a complete mess.

I have seen a variety of events from high shool state wrestling, bull riding, monster trucks, circus, Disney on ice, hockey, concerts and today arena football. Great venue! Its clean and well taken care of. It is always a great place to go for family fun. Unfortunately today we got to sit behind the Albany Empire team guy taping. They probably should not sell tickets behind the camera man. Luckily there were open seats next us so we moved. So it was all good. :)

Had an awesome time seeing Disney on ice. Just wish the seats were a little more comfy, and had cup holders.

Once upon a time a beer and pretzel were not $19!! Please bring in more artists. Lets make the TU great again!

Outside of the floor seating which tends to "smash" you into whomever is sitting next you.. with rows so close together you pray no one needs a bathroom break... This is a nice venue... At least for concerts. I have yet to attend any other types of events here.

Been to many concerts here! Venue is large and plenty of clean bathrooms and refreshment stations. Food and drink is wickedly overpriced, 5.00 for a bottle of water! Would give 5 stars, but at my last concert experience, P!ATD(2019) my UNOPENED waterbottles were confiscated at security, with no other reason than they weren t allowed, forcing me to buy their overpriced waters!!

Nice venue, good food choices. Only issue was the line management for getting in through security was a bit out of control. Acoustics were good even in the nose bleeds.

Not a bad seat in the place. Could use more bathrooms.

Went to watch football and loved it! Great ending to a season!!!

I enjoy the opportunity to watch the shows that are booked at the TU but the facility has a few drawbacks. Parking isn't that convenient. Consessions are unhealthy and overpriced. On top of all that, Albany politicians forgave the original mortgage debt so they could borrow even more to pay for renovations. Taxes payers get hosed again.

Concerts, graduation ceremonies, sporting events, etc. The TU is a great venue for it all.

Ariana Grande killed her performance! However the screens/ projectors were not working so people in the upper section could not see the performance without standing (which was a little annoying if you're trying to eat fried dough )

It is what it is. Good space, typically food and beverage selections. Parking is fairly convenient.

I had a wonderful time at the Marvel superheroes show last night my grandson loved it

People get very intoxicated at the concerts here. And one time I parked in their garage and they were full. By the time I got back down to the front, the attendant had already taken my money and left - real nice.

Sporting events are great experience I wish hockey would return though.

I've been going to the times union center for years. Always enjoy watching events that take place there.

The new area with the improvements looks very nice.

Great time seeing T.S.O. we took my parents. They provided wheelchair service for my Dad both getting to our seats and leaving to go home. Fantastic staff !

I love this arena but they need to finish the construction already.

This is a great venue for music. It's as big as Madison Square Garden but without all the pains of NYC. It definitely is no frills. The bathrooms are surprisingly not too bad. The parking is decent and cheap in the area. Hotels fill up fast, so plan ahead if you want to stay over night.

We went for Jurassic World Live. It was fun. The venue is pretty big but not overwhelming.

Great venue. Been for Siena basketball, concerts, and hockey.

Tight seating and parking information is less than transparent. Still, it's an arena and only one of the couple in the area where you're going to be able to see a big act.

Older arena, many beer choices, very few food choices. Seats are cushioned but older and our seats were broken. Parking difficult to get in or out.

Easy to access arena with a lot of parking options. Seats felt a bit small to me and the food options seemed pricey even for an arena.

Great time at the TU last Wednesday watching the Toby Mac concert. The acoustics are pretty good but the seats uncomfortable and small.

Great area for concerts and events. It needs to update the seats but its small for an arena and has a friendly atmosphere.

Parking is always an adventure here, but that's to be expected. This venue is fabulous for all kinds or events. Food is pricey, as per the norm but staff is competent and quick. Our latest visit was for a concert and there were no bad seats. We had a great time.

Nice venue and always clean. Food is priced high, but any event center is like that.

Other than the fact that ALL surrounding restaurants and taverns WERE CLOSED ON a Friday Night AND Saturday ... Albany seems to be a DIEING city...times union is just another arena ... BUT exceptionally

Seen the Lady Saints and the Men Saints play today with my family.

Parking in a garage next door to the TUC was very expensive, $20.00, by my standards, the spacing between seat rows was too restricted in Section 207, by my standards, and food and beverages prices were too high, from my viewpoint.

Went to the car show parking free but place needs a little clean up

They updated and cleaned up the entire arena, new paint looks nice and safe going down stairs. Looking forward to going back.

Show was great. Need more bathrooms upstairs for people with special needs!

Aging but well kept arena. Good place to watch basketball
