Times Union Center - SMG Worldwide Review

The Times union center is an absolutely amazing stadium

A bit confusing to find your way around which entrance is the right one and to find the gate you're supposed to enter in. But once you get in, there were workers to help you find your seats. Sat in Row CC. Great seats, great view

Ariana Grande concert - Super crowded but that was expected, the sound,stage and lighting was amazing-it was a great experience overall!

I left my phone in my seat after a Metallica concert. I have a tracker on my phone and when I called security the next day they went out of their way to go find it exactly where I told them it was, and hold it for me untill I could make the almost 2 hour drive back there to get it.

Nice venue for a show lots of small vendors some with longer lines !!! NY Taste. Only downside sound was less immersive than other arenas

Normal place for concerts and various venues. Nothing crazy.

Other than the bathroom situation being atrocious this venue is really great. Easy in and out, plenty of parking with many garages within a ten minute walk.

Experience largely dependent on the event, but in spite if the fact there has never not been construction when I've gone there, still somehow easy to get in and out of reasonably priced parking.

GPS said after the exit it would only take 5 minutes to get the arena. It took 90 minutes. We were late for the show and they ran out of handicapped parking so my handicapped mother had to walk 3 blocks to get to the show. ARRIVE 2 HOURS EARLY if you want parking.

We went for a car show. The show itself was lacmluster, butt times union was fine.

Needs more mma and extreme sports events!monster jam sucks thier,not enough space for it!

They redid alot of the common areas, looks great and was much needed.

has gotten better since the remodel bringing in UFC events now.

Nice venue for the inaugural Aurora Games. We were in the cheap seats and had an excellent view of the floor (tennis court). It was exciting to be there to support women athletes from all over the world. I hope this is the beginning of a great tradition in sports.

Awesome auditorium. Parking right around the corner.

Great venue for concerts -- we had the moderately priced seats and the sound and sight lines were good. But on the return to the parking areas, the escalators should have been set to bring us up but they were not. We had to climb innumerable stairs on the return trip.

Big empty room to do things in. It is a good room as far as big empty room go.

The venue is great for any event. Someone needs to figure out traffic during an event. We arrived to the area an hour before showtime and it took 30 min to get to a lot.

We saw the Harlem Globetrotters.They were fantastic.

When we attended the facility was undergoing repairs. It didn't hinder the ability to get around or cause any unusual delays. A great venue to see any type of show.

It's my first time ever in this place and I am having a wonderful time with my co-workers in this rally for health care cuts. This place is awesome!!

They did such a great job it's so beautiful outside and inside when I walk then I totally forgot where I was the new-look is spectacular I just hope that other events won't cause it to mess up they did such a great job

Saw Napalm Death, Testament, Anthrax, Lamb of God, and my favorite, Slayer!!! Great venue, awesome show!!!

It's a good place for the kids to go see a event or sports but they dont allow outside food

Great shows, lots of security, parking garage. But I suggest taking a taxi.

Decent size arena, not huge like the MSG in NYC. We went to see a comedy show and had some nice floor seats. We were able to see the comedians on stage and of course on the two screens.
The food and drink prices were ridiculously high for as lousy as they were, especially the popcorn. The popcorn tasted like it was doused in salt. For a 20oz bottle of water it cost $5. We couldn't finish the popcorn because of how salty it was, and I certainly wasn't spending another $5 for a bottle of water.
The staff at the arena was nice and helpful with everyone especially when they were helping guests find their seats.

Sat an hour in traffic,(we planned the hour to arrive early to find seats, get settled ect...) for parking that was non-existent. No ushers around to help us find our seats.

Awesome place but prices for food and drinks are outrageous. I paid $5.50 for a Lipton tea

This place is awesome. Major remodeling going on and incredibly fast. This place will definitely be the mecca for events amd sports in the near future.

They have the most bizarre beverage policy at the concession stands. You can't be given a bottle or can, every drink must be poured into cup first for safety reasons - so expect a long wait for food or drink. Seats are close to the action which is a huge plus. The highest seats in the balcony are much closer than at MSG or TD Garden.

Right now they are renovating so construction going on .Should be good when done.

First time ever to MONDAY NIGHT RAW! It was such a great experience. The people that worked here were very nice and helpful. Hats off to em!

Should be shut down to limit contact for the Public.

I saw panic at the disco there and personally had no problems with parking that was FREEEE at that. Welcome to New York I wasnt scammed haha

This visit was for an Albany Empire arena football playoff game. There was an excellent band performing at the pre-game block party and the arena has a great sound system and Jumbo Tron.

Clean venue. Does a rotten job at hiring refs for the basketball games. I would think they would hire refs that know the rules to a basketball game. Maybe NCAA should review the game and reprimand the refs for a horribly called uconn vs Louisville game.

Went to the Panic at the Disco concert and it was great

Drove over an hour to get here on April 6th 2019 for the zoo event posted on the event calendar. Got to box office window and was told they knew nothing of the event.... its posted on your event schedule... what a waste of time. Beware... dont purchase tickets online before confirming event really exists.

It was lit (fun and lots of motivation) and it was my second FAVORITE field trip my act was Sharpe reservation

It's a decent venue. Nothing wrong with it at all, just seemingly old at this point.

Seats are very uncomfortable. No leg room and to close together.

Went to school event for my daughter. Seating is a joke. Had to move twice. Everyone seems to be assigned the same seats. Let alone the annoying construction in front. If your going to assign seats keep family

Parking ingress/egress is torturously slow. Parking fees can be a bit high. The facility/concessions are astronomical and lackluster. Would be better described as the behind the times union center.

It was great except for the dick headed staff at the end of the show.

It wouldn't matter who is playing it's to hot in there to enjoy anything.
