Nice atmosphere! A tad bit pricey but nice experience
Nice atmosphere! A tad bit pricey but nice experience
Fun spot with a variety of food options. Multiple bars and lots of seating upstairs and downstairs. Check out the bar on the third floor too!
Saturday lunch very crowded. Expensive food with no way to see what you're ordering
Enjoyed the food and experience! Like others, several free water stations would be nice. I felt for the bartenders who looked to be pouring 10 waters for every 1 cocktail.
Had a delicious original chicago hot dog from Duck Inn Dogs. Also tried the local beers at the bar. There is something for everyone at this place. Great music and ambiance.
It's a great experience to walk around & explore food options. Not much for vegetarian. Pricey, bring your big wallet! Very friendly staff throughout
The bar ran out of the only hazy ipa. my lamb fried rice had something hard in almost every fork full
I came here sunday for lunch and WOW! This is so much fun. So many good options, great ambiance, enough seating. It is going to be my new go to activity when I have visitors. I think this is a great addition to the West Loop and to Chicago.
Awesome space with a wide variety of delicious options. If you're trying to avoid the crowds, go at lunch time when it's easier to navigate the different vendors
Online and on the store front it says close at 11pm. Come in at 10:25pm. Sorry we re close... ok...
Great hang out spot... Lots of eateries, good drinks 1 tv
Excellent cast of restaurants and chefs. Great addition to the growing trend in food hall type venues.
This place is neat and warm to hang out. But food is little over priced.
I really want to give it 3.5 stars. Great space. Lots of choices. Seems pretty expensive for what you get. Two tacos and an order of chips & guac was $26+ including a tip. Have to go to the bar to get a glass of water. The sushi is only available in the evening which was a disappointment.
A new yuppie spot in the west loop to hang out. Interesting mix of restaurants. They have a few open kitchens , for corporate outing r groups to rent I presume. The giant food hall has butcher block modern tables. Prices a bit on the expensive side, but you should expect that in West loop catering to the younger tech savvy clientele. Will have to visit again to check out food from various sources.
Great concept .... But they should add some large colorful signage by the stairwells showing what's upstairs and downstairs. ........ I did see the tiny signs but they really don't stand out and would not draw people to them from far away.
Check out the Abe Conlon stand. It's the best I have had there.
I like being able to try different things under same roof. Kinda pricey.
Great selection of some of Chicago s best food all in one location.
This place is awesome. We came a few days before the COVID shut down and came back once they reopened. I was very impressed with their COVID precautions. They re doing a great job. Will come back - a lot.
I regularly visit Timeout Market in Lisbon (four times a year for the past few years) and have patronized the Chicago location about five times since it opened while comparing it to Lisbon s.
I m very disappointed from the food selection to specialty drinks at the bars.
I m sorry, the food offerings aren t very good and are overpriced. Abe Conlon s Portuguese interpretation just doesn t do it for me after extensively dining throughout Portugal; the natas have this white cream filling added to the custard whereby it is a highly inauthentic offering; the broccoli rabe added to the rice would likely remain untouched by locals in Portugal.
The Split Rail chicken burger, Sugar Cube desserts, SECRET SOUND drinks are just okay.
I m sure many enjoy the food offerings (the pizzas seem popular) but I just find them uninspiring and lacking in flavor. The only plus is the weekday happy hour drink promotion.
Ambience: lively, busy and noisy, but what I don t understand are the number of people who loudly shout as they converse which is distracting to others having conversations.
Would I return: maybe during warmer weather when the rooftop area is open so as to enjoy drinks and skyline.
Mini Mott burger, try it! Beer selection is perfect! John Manion full size rib, do it!
I went Friday night with a friend. The restaurant options are great, but they need to work out the kinks I m sure. I ordered a burger from Mini Mott and was told it would be ready in 15 minutes. 45 minutes went by and I went up to check on it. Turns out they lost the ticket for my order and didn t know who it was for so they gave it to someone else. While I was there I asked for two bottles of water, and the girl was so flustered she didn t even give them to me until I asked twice and then didn t ring me up. I mentioned I hadn t paid for the water (more than $6 by the way) and instead of doing what I thought would have been the right thing by comping me the waters for giving my food to someone else and having to wait almost an hour (at which point my friend was done with her dinner) she proceeded to interrupt a transaction with someone else to process the charge for my water.
It's quick, easy, and not super healthy. But OK food.
Cool environment. Wish places offered smaller sample sizes. Pricey. No cash is annoying.
Some places were okay. Definitely check out if near the area and want different options
The pandemic has hurt this venue. Many kiosks closed. The prices are also disproportionally high. Outdoor seating is ample but by not very attractive.
Amazing variety of gourmet foods. Community style bench seating means you can usually find a spot and maybe make a friend. I got a Chicago "beef" unlike any I've tried before.
Amazing concept and really good food. The hall is massive and everything we had was delicious
The food was so good, something for everyone! The phat ramen was good and so were the Mott burgers. It s usually pretty busy but the lines for food weren t long. Overall a fun experience, super cool atmosphere. I highly suggest checking out the bar upstairs!
The set up is like going to Philippines or any asian countries were all food court is inside the mall!! I am happy US are doing it now , but there behind!! It make sense that people don t need to drive around to get to some of the restaurants inside. Nice idea copied concept in Asia!!
I'm so glad our uber driver recommended this place to us or we never would have found it. Every city should have a place like those where people can see what a bunch of local restaurants have to offer and everyone can get whatever kind of food they want. Highly recommend trying this place out.
Excellent concept. Excellent choices. On the pricey side for what you get.
Great place, communal seating, parking is hard unless you feel like valet for $17
All of the food is great I personally recommend the biscuits
Loved the variety of food and the big dining room in the center. There s also seating upstairs, stadium style and some tables.
I had Dos tacos and they were great! My husband ordered the pizza from Art of Pizza and it was very good!
The best part was the wings. They were from Split Rail. The barbecue sauce was amazing!
What a treat, combines some of the best chefs with some of Chicago's true Staples.
Time Out Chicago Market was such a wonderful surprise too, it's large, spacious, affordable, and has really wonderful staff members. I plan on visiting many more times because there are so many options!
This place is a great place to escape from mundane food. This food hall houses about 15+ food vendors under one roof. You'll find something you like here, even though it might just be desert. Most of the food vendors are a bit on the creative side, so if you don't like creative this place might not be for you. However, you can grab a gourmet burger and hot dog here, so those that do not want to step out of their comfort zone have options.
This place is PACKED on a Friday night. Apparently it is the place to be seen in Fulton Market.
I was shocked that this place isn't very busy during lunch. I think that the slow service and any lunch will run $17+ might be the reason for the low turnout for lunch.
Prices are obnoxious. However, that is the Fulton Market area for you. I can't really take away stars for the cost since most things in the neighborhood are priced similarly. However, $30+ for a 10 oz pour of wine is crazy. I'll just bring my own bottle for that cost.
Options - Great
Price - UGH!
Space - Great
Good food and good vibes. A little expensive compared to comparable markets elsewhere but quality is there. A few snags, on the night we went some places would only take card, some would only take cash, inconsistent which got a little annoying. Also they close quite early, food was stopped at 9pm and drink soon after which seems unreasonable for such a destination dining venue.
Mini Mott Burger + Fries was PHENOMENAL. In general it s pretty expensive to eat here-no surprise.
Great place to explore and eat different types of foods. Guaranteed every one in your group will find something to eat. Seating maybe a challenge on the main floor for large groups, its cafeteria style. Large groups may want to see if tables are free on second floor. Unique drinks on 2nd floor.
Great atmosphere and setting. More than a dozen great restaurants in one location. Parking is nearly impossible, but they have valet service.
I like the concept and the variety but the prices at many of the places are extremely high for the portion sizes. It is frustrating that many of the restaurants don't offer beverages so you have to struggle through the crowds to find drinks (even non-alcoholic drinks) while carrying your food tray. The layout is extremely difficult to walk through. There are very narrow walkways and people stand crowded in them so you can't move around to get to the different restaurants. The seating area is large but the chairs are shoved up against each other so there isn't room to pull out a chair if someone else is seated next to it. It is also incredibly loud.
So many places to choose from. I guess I'll have to come back and try all of the restaurants. Caution, you can only use a credit or bank card. I like using cash!
Large cafeteria style space with variety of options
Nicely designed space. All communal seating, and very loud. More suited to 20 something age range.
This food hall isg6reat! The food counter choices were some of my favorite spots in the city. Seating was a bit challenging, but after scoping the area for a bit, open spots became available. It's a very loud & busy atmosphere filled with a younger crowd. My top choices were Bill Kim, hai Dang & Lost Larson. I would definitely reccomend visiting this hall for amazing food options all under one roof!
Excellent option to enjoy international gastronomy in Chicago!!
great selection of food. can get some interesting food if you are willing to wait. prices are reasonable!! will for sure try again!
Great collection of high end food at relatively approachable prices. Each restaurant offers a short list of dishes with varying size. This is a great place to taste unique and we'll prepared dishes without the long wait lists.
Wonderful variety of cuisine and drinks here. Must see if in west side of Chicago!
Great food from best places in Chicago. Upper level has comfy area that is nice for families with kids. Elevator is in the right corner if you have stroker.
Plenty of excellent restaurants to try. Get different dishes to mix and match your meal!
Such a fun experience! Great selection, lively atmosphere, and spacious enough to find a spot to relax. Only negative is that the food is crazy expensive.
Definitely go here, but be careful, you might get addicted
Needs more staff during peak times....but the food was great.
Came here this past Sunday with a group of friends dying to try it out and we were not disappointed.
Showed up around 11am which was perfect because it got crazy busy in there by 1pm
We all had different drinks from signature cocktails, beers from their hand picked selection and champagne for mimosas.
Between the six of us we tried just about as much as we could consume including some must try items!
Tamal tots
Empanadas
Ice cream and popiscles
Cake pops
Burgers
Pizza
Pork belly and so much more
Cant wait to go back
I ordered the negi hamachi, spicy salmon and spicy tuna. All three rolls the fish had gone bad as if it wasn't refrigerated or was just old fish. I also got some brussel sprouts that were way over cooked and very burnt, the taste more resembled charcoal than actual food. I was hopeful in the please and concept but it's just not worth it for the poor quality of food. I also got an Off Color Brewing Apex Predator and the beer tasted sort of off, kind of like when you leave something in the refrigerator for too long with out being sealed shut. Really too bad the food and beer isn't any good it could be a really cool place.
Like the atmosphere, but the prices is out the roof. 3 bucks for a bottle of water
Great food. Great atmosphere. Lots of trad food options and lots of fusion as well.
Big. Loud. Fun. Most important, fantastic food and drink selections.
If you don't have time to go to every good restaurant in Chicago you should come here and you'll be able to eat the very best things!
Really neat place with many types of foods. Walleye at Band if Bohemia was so fresh. It's not a large portion so expect to eat something else. The Udon bowl at the Vietnamese place was great. It's a large bowl. A little spicy lots of variety. Seating can be challenging with a large group. Credit only no cash. Park at 1K Fulton for ten bucks
Liked the fries, just wish I had enough to try more of their amazing delicacies
There's great variety here, allowing one to choose from a wide array of options. The Time Out Market staff were especially welcoming, offering terrific guidance to the various choices.
Since it was mid-afternoon, we stopped for coffee and baked goods at Lost Larson (a favorite from Andersonville). There were 4 servers at the small counter, which seemed like a lot. When I asked for milk, the clerk pointed me to the cream on the counter. After repeating a request for milk, I was reluctantly given a little pitcher. Unfortunately, a hair was floating in the coffee. When I returned it to the counter, there was no reaction or contrition, though the coffee was replaced.
Overall, prices are rather high for a walkup venue. It's no surprise considering the rent individual counters must pay.
So many great food and drink choices! Welcoming environment, communal seating, great neighborhood.
Absolutely fantastic place to eat! So many different choices. You got almost everything here. Taco's were superb and delicious empanadas. Great bar with good beer selection!
Nice experience. Soooo many things to try and not enough time or money lol.
Tried the beef rib from John Manion:
It's expensive -$45 but large enough to share.
My friend who shared with me have both been to Texas for BBQ and so our baseline for really good smoked beef rib is pretty high. This did not meet it.
But for a food stall, it's okay.
The meat was tender and juicy. The relish and sauce do give the bite more flavor, but beef rib should usually stand on its own, so if you need $2 sauce to spice up your $40 beef, that's a minus.
We saw a group eating the same beef rib next to us and theirs looked better than ours. Perhaps it was a grass is greener on the other side issue.... Or maybe their cow are that greener grass too.
Fun and vibrant! Most importantly, the food was good!! Cocktails are crafted from local bartenders. Service was great. Definitely get the brussel sprouts from Brian Fisher
A must visit when in Chicago, so many gourmet foods and drinks. It is a foodie heaven.
Very very good. I like all the food there. Lots of options!
Great variety makes this the perfect spot for any indecisive groups. The only complaint is that it tends to be on the pricier side of things.
