I have arrived here both by car and boat. If you're not comfortable with docking your boat on the pier you can anchor and they will send a water taxi out to get you and take you back. The dozen crabs are always worth the money and the sea bites are delicious, nice and tender. The atmosphere is fun and laid back and on the weekends during the summer they frequently have live local bands playing. The only reason I'm not giving this 5 stars is because the service can get slow on a really crowded day but the staff are always super friendly and helpful.

I've gone here a lot. It's a nice local place to take out of town guests for some great seafood. The view is lovely. Sometimes, the food is OK...it can be hit or miss. But, because it's a local hidden gem, I really like that they're here in our area. I do recommend you give them a try.

Gorgeous views, great food, lots of out door seating. Accessible by car, boat, or jet ski. Water taxi for boaters. Tucked away in what seems to be a hidden location and yet always busy. Owner Tim always around chatting with customers and quite personable.

The scene is great and service is awesome. It's an experience to have and to really enjoy with friends, family, or a loved one. Highly recommend for one to try good sea food. Only down fall is at night, mosquitos killed my mood to stay.

Food is great, atmosphere is very cool, but the service was terribly slow, seems more like something is going horribly wrong behind the scenes and there was only about 10 tables here. Maybe half of the kitchen staff and managers called-off today. The server did all he could and was very apologetic, even comped some drinks for us. Maybe it was a fluke but wanted to love this place :(

all of the food was extremely salty. I just don't understand why the food is fatally salty at all of seaside bars and restaurants. Calamari was overcooked, very oily. I got digestion problem later on for three hours.

I waited for over an hour for food, waitress never asked me if I wanted another drink, horrible service. Food was ok, frier needed to be cleaned and oil changed breading was all to dark, but the fish was not over or under cooked. Don't sit outside if bugs like you, and if you don't want to smell fermenting trash. They advertised live entertainment, bonfire, and fireworks but you'll see none of that during you meal you have to go on the other side out the back door for that. Poor setup. No lights on the deck. Was really looking forward to hearing live music but they play something else on the speakers so you either can't hear it or the 2 clash. For a 30 to 50 minute drive for me this was not worth it.

Something about this place makes it so friendly to eat inside or out. The staff is always making you laugh, people around you make you smile. If you park your boat you can hear the band. It s all around great time

It was ok. Windows need to cleaned something fierce. The food was ok but not for the price. Clams were small. Oysters had no taste. Steak was not seasoned at all. Hush puppies were overcooked. Best thing there was the mushroom appetizer.

I have friends who have persuaded me to try Tim's Rivershore restaurant for years. I finally took time to go off the beaten path and was I ever pleased. I love the simple and basic atmosphere. It doesn't feel like a chain and you definitely get the river ambiance with deck side seating. My friend and I picked a Saturday in March when the weather was mild enough to enjoy outside seating. We received quick service from our server, Will, and received our drinks quickly. Since it was our first visit, we labored over what to get because Tim's has a large selection of seafood along with beef, chicken and salad alternatives for guests who don't like fish. My friend went for the Broiled Rivershore Platter that featured a broad selection of seafood. I had the Broiled stuffed Rockfish stuffed with crab meat. Both of us were very pleased. The hushpuppies that came with the meal were cooked perfectly and complimented the broiled seafood perfectly. I had the coleslaw and potato salad because both are made there. The coleslaw is a good match for seafood because it's the tangy kind without mayo. I prefer mine creamier so I wouldn't get that unless you like tangy slaw. However, both of us raved over the homemade Potato Salad. It had a nice creamy texture and a rich flavor that stood up well with seafood. After dining, we decided to go inside for drinks. The bar is shaped like the bow of a boat. It felt a lot like a pub because the curvature encourages socializing. My friend began exploring some of the bold concoctions recommended by the bartender and regulars. I opted to continue with a selection of beers. All the drinks were enjoyable, the beer was served cold and the service was quick and efficient. I highly recommend Tim's if you're looking for the quirky, casual dining experience. This is not a gourmet restaurant and doesn't pretend to be anything more than well cooked food in a relaxed atmosphere. They were going to do a sunset Bonfire on the riverside that night with live music, but we had a bit of a drive and couldn't stay. We are definitely going back to continue sampling the list of house drinks.

Love this place. We've been going here for years! There is nothing special about the food. The food is ok. But the fact that it is a "Waterfront Hideaway" that you can dock your boat to eat, that makes it special. It has been a waterway destination that we take our friends to, when we are boating on the river.

We went here today for the first time. Mixed opinions. My son said the crab legs were good. Said the jumbo shrimp were the best he had ever had. My grandkids got the shrimp meal. They did not care for the fries. Shrimp were tiny & overcooked. I had a barbeque sandwich. It was good. The food took over an hour to get. My grandkids said it wasn't worth it for food that was just microwaved. Tables were dirty/sticky. Just Ok as far as cleanliness. Parking is terrible. Would we go again? Not sure. LONG wait for The food & pricey. Our waiter was awesome!
