I stayed for 7 nights in the hotel. The view from my room was really great because I was on floor 23 and facing the part of the city with tall buildings with some interesting architecture. The room is spacious and tastefully decorated. I had a nice desk and was greeted with a wonderful fruit platter. There were plenty of charging ports available. The bathroom was really big with two sinks, useful for more than one person staying in the room. The rain shower and large bathtub which filled quickly was the highlight of the room in my opinion, and the fluffy robes which were so soft. Whatever station you have on in the room will come on in the bathroom screen as well which is convenient if you want to listen to music or the news while having a soak in the tub. My only complaint here was that there was a funny smell in the toilet room. It was gone when it was cleaned everyday but it kept returning and it should really be sorted. My only other complaint was that the pillows were a bit rubbish in my opinion for a five star hotel. The staff always tried to accommodate me and did bring up a firmer pillow but I guess I'm just particularly picky about that sort of thing.

Room service was fabulous and prompt. The fridge was a bit useless for me as it was all stuff you purchased so you couldn't store your own items in there but I suppose it's common practice for the hotels - still I'm lactose intolerant and it would be nice to stash my soy milk in there. Breakfast was absolutely amazing. There's a great buffet where they will make eggs to order and the coffee is really good when you order. (Like really good). The concierge was helpful and friendly.

The lobby is tastefully decorated with a mix of modern decoration with some Arabesque decor to make it comfortable but remind you where you are (this was my first visit to the Middle East). There was a nice Christmas tree with holiday music in the lobby which gave it a homey feel. I didn't see the conference space, but it looks like it would be a really good location for a conference (I'm an academic).

There's a fab hair and nail salon on site as well as a wonderful spa. I did visit each - a pedicure for the former and Balinese massage at the latter. Both were really good. I did not visit the fitness center or pool.

I went to two restaurants during my stay - Delphine and Moombai (spelling?). Both were good fare and appropriately priced.

The hotel is close to other hotels which offer a variety of other restaurants and clubs. It's also walking distance to pharmacies and other local amenities. There's always taxis out front as well so easy to get to other locations. The airport is a pretty short drive away.

I did not book the room so cannot say anything about the price or service on that end.

I live in the Burj Al Salam next door. Thursday and Friday nights at this place involves hours of vehicular chaos and inconsiderate hooting at the inconvenient valet service and what seems to be a lack of parking space/ organization. Please sort your parking/ valet system out as the entire community of residents have to put up with this public disturbance of your inconsiderate, nocturnal guests until 4am every weekend.

I have been to this hotel only for business meets. Approach to hotel and valet is chaotic. It's always super busy. There is no free self parking for visitors. You have to use the valet. Coffee shop in the lobby is nice but pricey.

Very nice to look at. Main reception is very new firniture. Rooms furniture a bit outdated and damaged in cetrain rooms. Majority of rooms have stale smell of alcohol and tobacco, the smell a nightmare for asthmatics. Staff are very good kind and helpful and good for conversation reception and breakfast staff and very nice farooz and tanvwer also two Philippine girls in particular .

The staff is exceptionally attentive, friendly and helpful. Our suite on the 30th floor was very tasteful and high quality. Pool and fitness area are well maintained. Finally, the breakfast buffet has a large selection of freshly prepared international food and drinks. With us no wish remained open.

I had an amazing experience today with Ozzy and his teammates. They are very professional and understand all details about hair. By far the best salon I have visited in dubai for hair service. I will definitely be going back and recommending others. Thank you

This hotel is well located on Sheikh Zayed road. The interior looks quite good and the staff are somewhat warm. However, the African dishes served us at a wedding that was held here was a complete disaster, to say the least. Navigating through the hotel isn't something I'd consider 'easy'.
