Beyond Bliss Spa Review

I only come here for massages but they are so nice and relaxing

From check in to check out this place exceeded our expectations. The staff were amazing - even when we accidentally left our room keys in the room after hours. Sheona was there in minutes to give us another key. Location was excellent. The rooms were beautiful. We had the mountain view and did not mind any traffic noise. We spent each evening on the deck and had breakfast there in the mornings. Our only mistake on this trip was not giving ourselves enough time here. Fabulous area!

The name of this place could not be more perfect. I checked in just after 5 o'clock in the afternoon staff were extremely friendly. When I arrived at the room I was in awe. Having stayed at other hotels in the city this one blew my mind. With full equipped kitchen, spacious living room with electric fireplace, balcony, and large bathroom with a jetted tub is more than anyone could ever ask for. The decor is cozy and modern, fresh and clean. Very impressed with Beyond Bliss!

Very nice accomodation in Powell River where a great hotel is hard to find. Walking distance from the wharf. Room is beautifully build with a full kitchen and sleeps 2 in the bedroom and 2 on a pull out couch. Great!

I recommend this B&B to everyone. Value for money is top.

I was attending a casual gathering at this location. This room was quite lovely with all the needed amenities and a gorgeous view. And a heated bathroom floor. I appreciate the craftsmanship that clearly went into the construction of the Beyond Bliss Suites.

This review is for the hotel, not the spa. Room was banged up pretty bad with wall scuffs, eroded, water damaged night stands etc. Poor shower pressure, no soap for hands, or coffeemaker. Wood construction means you hear footsteps above. Was going to rate 3 star until was using a folded, hanging towel to dry off that was covered in someone elses hair! ugh. Overall, not impressed with cleanliness, appears someone went and wiped everything with a cloth leaving smears. I'm surprised at how well this place is reviewed and can only assume it's due to aggregating the spa reviews. There are better options in powell, with more features for less money. Bed was comfortable and staff were helpful. Note this is not a hotel so there are very limited staff availability after 6 pm, and no features such as luggage storage.

I did not stay in the room, so, but i had a pedicure in the spa and it was amazing!

I got my nails done with a friend for her birthday. The service was wonderful, though I wasn't entirely impressed with the front end staff.

Stayed one night on the way from Vancouver Island back to Vancouver. This is a lovely small hotel. Beautiful room, very helpful check-in in the adjoining spa and shop. Ideal for good food, bar and morning coffee all within a few metres walk.

BB is such a fanTABulous place to stay! The rooms are clean, the staff so welcoming and helpful and it has the best location and ocean views.

Probably one of the best pedis I've ever had and I love the lotion that they used! We will be back next time we visit Powell River. One thing to note is that you need to book ahead. We called the day of and they were able to get us in for one treatment but didn't have space to do everything we wanted.

Shocked! After travelling many places on the coast et cetera, this was a very pleasant surprise. The pictures on the website do not do the suites justice. Very new, clean, bright and "executive" looking. Staff were most wonderful at booking and checking in. I will only use this place for future stays.

Beautiful view, very friendly staff. Rooms were new, comfortable and amazing products include in the room (according to my girlfriend). Would highly recommend

Unbelievable.

Not staffed at 6:30pm. Leaving a female traveler on the street with her suitcase, stranded, in the dark, in the snow, alone. (She was supposed to get an email with a lockbox number but she did not.)

After-hours number not answered despite repeated calls and texts.

From Vancouver, I (husband) started calling around until I found a working phone number. Lady didn't know much but offered probable combinations to the lockboxes containing the keys. Can't tell us what room she is in though.

Owner should consider that hotels provide not only comfort but security.

EDIT seems that booking staff forgot to email the lockbox code that gets you access to your room, and the person covering the after hours number was indisposed for unfortunate personal reasons.

Mistakes happen and bad luck happens, and unfortunately in this case they both happened at once.

Due to being locked and unstaffed at normal check-in times, recommend that management implement a second after-hours support number.

Lovely rooms. Very clean and well appointed with spectacular views. Quiet convenient location in downtown Powell River. Friendly staff was a plus!

I got gel nails last week and they started lifting and cracking after 2 days. Super disappointed definitely won t be going back.

Refused to accommodate serious allergies or state the contents of their meals on the menu. Rude staff, do not go here if you have any specific dietary restrictions

Love Bliss! The new entryway and spa gifts are beautiful, offering many cruelty free and vegan options. Frankie also does the best gel nails in Powell River!

Beautiful room. And very clean. Loved the decor - very well planned space. Very comfortable beds/pillows and a beautiful and spacious bathroom/shower. And the ocean sunset from our deck! Highly recommended.
