I don't like the place because the orange chicken has no flavor.

The people they serve are good. Greens do not take care of the food if very tasty. They should put staff who can serve the public

I took my 5 stars down and would give negative million stars if i could. they also messed up my order. all they offered me was $2 credit toward next order, which I will never order from them again. all the years and money and recommendations i have given this place they did not deserve.. dont support this A hole woman

I witnessed a pedestrian get struck while eating outside on street at 2 am

I ve been ordering from here since I was 12 with my family I m now bout to be 30 and still order food here. My family has moved out of state but it s still apart of our family traditions to get together and eat here. My favorite is the x16 three flavor bbq chicken with a salad we use the honey dressing poured over the rice. So yummy if there are more of us we order the 10 bbq whole chicken with 6 b sauce this is the best Thai food I ve eaten ever. I ve recommended friends who are regulars now. The over the phone ordering can be confusing but they always come quick and with fresh hot food the new location is nice and I think they are going to just keeping moving on up from now on.

Gave me beef and broccoli after I order chicken and broccoli and they argue with me and dont even exchanged or offer me a free chicken and broccoli on my next order. Ever since the workers got young in that place its been HORRIBLE SERVICE.

Very poor customer service. Driver wouldn't bring my food to the door even though he could have easily done so. There was nothing stopping him, and the folks who deliver pizzas never have a problem. Both he and the supposed manager have very bad attitudes.

Great food and service, not very expensive. We ordered only vegeterian dishes (which they have naybe 3) but they were great!

The food is really good but the wait is an hour to get it deliverd to my house.
Along with the price is a little high but the amount of food is given well.

This rating is based on my experience and the food I ordered. It was the first time I tried this place and I haven't tried the other food they have. Ordered for delivery the Beef Teriyaki with Fried Rice and the Wonton Chicken Soup. The Beef Teriyaki was a little too sweet for me, Fried rice was good, I gave it 2 stars only because the Wontons in the Soup had too much Pepper in it you can taste and see the pepper inside the wontons I was not able to eat it, and also the Egg Rolls that came with the Beef Teriyaki had too much pepper. The lady that answered the phone when I called in my order I wish she was a little bit nicer and I told us how long our food would be delivered which she did not say, and the delivery..it took about 40 mins we were just 0.5 miles away and I ordered around 9:45am I don't know if its because they were busy and had a lot of customers. I hope this review would be helpful to others.

Best Thai food in town. Open late and you can order ahead.

Delightful experience in Italian dining. Been here twice now and love the food. All their pasta is made fresh in house, great wine selection, and exceptional service. This is as close to authentic Italy as I have found in Los Angeles.

Food is not bad but the customer service is rude and staff totally unprofessional. The customer is never right in this mom & pop place.
Tonight I saw the handy man packing white steamed rice into containers on the side while wearing no gloves.
After a very long wait for an entree to go I inquired as to what was taking so long. I then learned my ticket had been misplaced. Ok, no problem but when I complained about the long wait for 1 small order to go, an older woman there yelled at me after I repeated my order to 3 people who asked me!!
In the end I asked for and received my refund.
The undue wait I could handle. The hostile yelling no one deserves.

I love love love their food. Especially the pork fried rice and banana creme pie! They're also open very late.

I live in the hotel next door an their food is nasty their kitchen is off the ally an their are a ton of rats in the kitchen.i took my food to my room an i had a roach in my bad with my food .everyone i know who eat their they never go back. An a hour later your stomach will be hurting.they are being suied by 14 different people right now an im one of them. I had to go to the hosiptal for food posioning.

Very friendly staff, timely delivery and the food was great!

This place is a good place to come way after everything has already closed for the night. While i worked at LAC USC my dept would order delivery late into the night. While their food isnt the greatest ever it is good enough to satisfy any appetite. Their plates are also big enough to share among 3 people. They also have vegan and vegetarian options.

TLDR: They can't get orders right anymore; pay with cash and check it upon delivery.

This was a 5-star review for 7 years, and I've ordered from them countless times, but over the last few months their service has completely deteriorated.

It's always been 1.5 hours to actually get your food, but now they always get it wrong. If you're lucky, they bring back the rest of the order another 1.5 hours later. Today the driver told me he'd go get the rest of my order after I pointed out the missing items from his printout, and then he never returned.

I'm not calling them back to fix it anymore. If you order from them, make sure to select cash as your payment option, and then carefully review your items before paying.

Great food and good prices. Love that they deliver until very late

This place is soooo good. I've ordered delivery from them for many years. Consistently delicious, great prices, huge portions, late night delivery, friendly people taking orders and friendly delivery drivers. They even throw in a free Thai iced tea sometimes! I've spent a lot of time in Thailand and the flavors and friendliness from this restaurant really takes me back.


2/18/20 Update: I finally made it in to visit the restaurant. Superb experience. Beautiful people with kind and generous hearts lovingly serving delicious food. A surprisingly inviting dine in environment (id read and thought it was mainly a take out place.) The owner, Suzi (not sure of the spelling) was an incredibly warm person who clearly cared deeply for her business and it's food, staff, and customers. All of the staff have been delightful and in this day and age that is a rarity. I sincerely hope this restaurant stays around for a long time. It is a beacon of great food and great spirits!

I know this restaurant since 1990 we love its very good food. The plate that we always order until this date 2018 is the X5. accompanied with a delicious tea.

Not bad testing, nothing to wow you though... Better than your average thai. Wouldn't go out of the way to come here.

Had the red curry with beef. It was very tasty. I picked hot but I like it a bit hotter normally. Should have chosen very hot.

It was my birthday and i had a taste for thai food. I knew how good the food was. I really enjoyed the all the food with my family every body gave it a 5+.

Update: They catered our last gathering at home. They delivered the food fresh and on time. They included everything including utensils for serving the food. Our guests complemented the food. We ordered the yellow curry, pad Thai, crab fried rice, spring rolls, mango sticky rice and BBQ chicken. It was stress free.

Good food at a good price. Seating area inside was decent. There's parking but it can get a bit tight.

I order with some co-workers and usually it is very good...but not today! My online delivery over took over 2 hours! And the "Free" thai ice teas they offer for large orders were not there with our delivery order. I kept calling for an update and all I received was..."it is out with the delivery guy". And we paid a delivery fee too. Sauces were missing from the order and was below usual service. No real offer for the delay and now missing items.
I will definitely reconsider ordering from here again...a long while from now.

Thai food and service at this spot is very good. visited fri evening i think. the service was sociable and attentive. the prices are fair for the quality of food. feels like a place in charlotte that i enjoyed visiting.

This place is worth a visit. They serve big portions for affordable prices. Constantly neat and with excellent ambience. I highly recommend this place.

I really like this place. Open late. Too bad they lost their lease and are closing. Hope they open up again somewhere in LA or even the Hollywood area.

Be ready to wait more than an hour for food delivery. Food is good, but service is messed up. For starters they are forcing me to tip more then I do? I tip 10% what else are they asking from me?? I get the order I have to sign and it says tip:$cash, I entered gratuity.. don't cheat customers.. They have messed up my order and the driver gets upset for me sending it back... food is delicious, but when I call to see what's going on; they always give me attitude.

Not the most authentic Thai food-- in fact, it's a thai fast food type of place. You'll get bean sprouts in your pad see ew and American broccoli-- you'll get carrots in your drunken noodles, but the flavor of the noodles is never too salty, too sweet, or too tangy-- always just right! It's super oily, so I wouldn't eat here alllll the time. Just for those late nights after a night out. Service is quick. You'll never wait more than 15 minutes for your food if you order there at the restaurant. AND It opens until 4AM! Where can you find a place that opens thaaat late these days??

So if you're looking for a late night spot, this is a great spot! Portions are pretty big for the price as well! I can never finish an order in one sitting, so I started to share with friends.

Good place to eat alone or with friends and family. Confort food at a good price with nice and friendly staff, you feel at home. Also if they get something wrong let them know and they will help you accordingly.

Ordered 8C Katsu Buffalo Chicken and received 8B Grilled Buffalo Chicken. Called to let them know and they called back to argue that they sent us the correct item. Katsu is breaded with panko. There is no panko pictured below. This is a grilled piece of chicken. They assured us that their katsu is NOT breaded and we ordered a grilled chicken item. We ve ordered from them before and the Katsu (8C) arrived breaded. Very disappointing. Won t be ordering again.

Ordered from this place for the first time and was really impressed with the quality of the food and service. We had a small issue with our order and they went above and beyond to make sure we were happy. I highly recommend this place and their amazing staff.

Normally don't review places but this place was a joke. Chicken was a horrible quality and the "sesame chicken" had no sesame sauce on it... Waste of time and money

Pretty good. It was my second time here. I made a couple of adjustments to my order that I paid extra for and it wasn't honored. Smh.

I lived downtown for 10 years and this remained one of my favorite late night Thai food places. Great at delivery. Excellent food. Try the dim sum and the spicy drunken noodles. Also good panang curry. Highly recommended.

LOVE the food but Delivery Men always "ASK" for a tip...they don't smile when you don't leave a tip or say bye nor thank you... so rude

Rude and liars. Kept saying my food will be ready in 5 minutes and it's been over 20 minutes. I have waited for my food for a total 1.5 hours after the restaurant stated it will be ready in 40-50 minutes. I understand that there is a wait but you should never tell your customer "we are not only doing your food we are busy" that is rude. I just spent $40 dollars for the worst customer services. definitely will not return. since this isn't the only thai restaurant.

Some good food if you know what to order and really bad if dont there service is the worst so dont bother the owner is the same you wont get what you pay for but its something new to try not a place id go back too time and time again

Took over 3 HOURS for us to get our food after they said delivery would be 1 hour. We called at 1.5 hours to check and they said they had called us. They had not. And to check our phone was working, the guy then called us and we received the call just fine. We gave them two numbers to call. They then said 1/2hr more. 1hr later and no food. The delivery person didn t even answer when the manager tried to call twice once that extra half hour was up. The manager blamed us for the time even though the driver had failed to make contact with us. They were completely unwilling to apologize for this incident or to offer us some sort of compensation for a THREE HOUR WAIT. Obviously after 3 hours the quality of food is affected and also isn t that against health and safety codes to just serve food after a certain period of time after just leaving it out...TERRIBLE customer service, delivery and thus mediocre food upon delivery. Ironically, we were going to try a new Thai place but stuck with T.G. We ve been ordering from T.G. from the same phone to the same address and never had a problem. T.G. Express just lost a loyal customer.

Best combos I've seen in awhile. Reasonable prices,great fresh food.

The one answering the calls and taking orders is slow. But the quality of food is very amazing. Its all i crave for now.

Food is always good, they are quick and friendly. We only do take out. There isn't much by way of parking, but that's the only issue.

They been getting my orders wrong lately. Good food, but people there need to pay better attention to orders.

I will say it simply - I do not recommend !!! They combine with card payments, come up with some illegal minimum limits for card payments.

Overpriced but open late and food is good sometimes depending on who is in the kitchen that day. They have super expensive cheesecake that sucks.

Bang for your Buck

If you've spent some good time in or around the downtown Los Angeles area you know about this place. USC student living on a budget? Working late night and need to order in? Living from paycheck to paycheck? Went to Vegas over the weekend and lost all your money? This is your place. For the price you cannot beat TG, they somehow infuse the most amazing umami Thai flavors into the noodles. I haven't gotten a bad dish here yet, pad Thai, spicy pan fried noodles, pad see-ew, drunken noodles, and pan fried silver noodles.

King of Deliveries

Everyone I know who has had TG only gets delivery. I don't think anyone's ever actually been to this place, I don't think it actually exists. I think you make a call to heaven and Thai God sends a Thai delivery guy to your door with Thai food. Boom! Out of thin air. Can anyone confirm this is a real restaurant?
