Great beer! Nothing fancy but done well! Really good Belgium's and nitros! Not a huge IPA guy so this is my absolute favorite beer in Greenville.

Met some nice people, enjoyed the sunshine and dogs on the deck, and drank good beer. What more can you ask for? Great way to spend a Saturday afternoon! Music was scheduled for later but we had other plans.

I m in town on business and a few of us are trying out some of Greenville s many breweries. To start off this place is badass. The fact that they reclaimed a part of the abandoned mill was very cool and the way they set the place up provides a enjoyable atmosphere to hangout and talk with others inside or outside. Their beers on tap offer a broad range for anyone s tastebuds and are quite tasty. They also offer taste tests so you can fine tune which beer is right for you before you buy. They have T-shirts and glasses on sale, I bought a shirt and wanted one of the cool ass mugs they have but I was disappointed when they told me they are for members only. Bartender was attentive and friendly. We will definitely be coming back to visit this one before our return to Florida.

It's my go to place in Greenville for local craft beer. Their beers are fantastic. They have a great range to meet any beer preference. The space is huge and offers a great and fun area to meet friends. They often have music and food trucks and special beer releases through the year. The staff is always helpful and friendly. If you're in Greenville, make it a destination to check out, grab a cold one, and relax.

Great selection of beer, local brewery, great atmosphere! Renovated from an old mill. They have an excellent trivia night on Tuesdays.

Great open atmosphere with new beers rotating through all month. Usually 10-12 original beers on tap along with guest taps and a small wine and kombucha list. They also have craft sodas as well! We are there every Tuesday for Trivia Night and it s always a highlight of our week!

this is the prime example of a community gathering place over a beer. the atmosphere is #1, the beer is always incredible, and the people are awesome.

Always a great stop for a beer. Great selection of many different beers that are all brewed in house, I've never been disappointed by anything I've drank. The service is always great as well.

Craft beer is already delicious, and the king of beers. But the craft brews at 13 Stripes are insanely wonderful, and very few store brands can hold up against these bold flavors and complex, layered combinations. If you d like something lighter, vibrant, and crisp on a hot summer s day, try 13 Stripes IPAs. If you want something reminiscent of coffee, and filling like hot cocoa was on a childhood winter s day, a milk stout is a great option. Even beers you might consider oddities with flavors you wouldn t think to pair are all interesting and enjoyable.
The atmosphere of 13 Stripes is family-friendly, with couches to lounge on and games for the kids to play, as well as a family bathroom which makes changing a child s diaper much more convenient.
If you re coming by yourself wanting to just escape for an hour, the huge concrete bar is perfect to sit and chat with the friendly staff who all have fascinating stories to tell, as do some of the regular customers. The art on the walls makes you feel patriotic, like when the national anthem is playing before your favorite baseball team comes on the field, and you re surrounded by men and women in uniform who ve made sacrifices for our country and you re proud to stand beside them, as an eagle screeches Freedom! in the background.
The shirts are super comfortable, and new releases come out every few months, so you always want to stop by the counter to look.
There are really tasty, high-quality snacks (like flavored hummus and chips ) that actually pair up well with some of the beers, and beer is available to take home in crowlers, for those of us who can t get enough.

Thirteen Stripes Brewery is a place where you can bring your husband or wife, your children, your parents, and your friends, and they ll all be able to sit with you around the long, smooth tables and play games and have conversations without the distractions of incessantly-demanding technology. This is a place where you can slow down, breathe deeply, enjoy delicious beer, and funny, friendly company in a place where you can really relax and have fun, not just pretend to on social media. Whoever you are, whatever your preference in beer or company, 13 Stripes is a place to stop and have fun again.

13 Stripes has great selection of hand crafted beers, family friendly, low key atmosphere. They also host several great events throughout the year.

I definitely recommend this brewery. The brewers are doing a great job making delicious beer. The bartender Carmen was awesome....she made me feel very welcomed and any first timer appreciates that. I will definitely come back for the new beers that are in the works.

I'll preface with the fact that I was drunk before I arrived. Cool place, lots of space, could probably benefit from having 1 light beer on tap but they have a great selection of good IPAs. I think utilizing some of the open space for cool games like giant Connect 4 and giant Jenga and STUMPS would raise the appeal a bunch. Serve light snacks that are yummy.

This place was awesome! We went to get a refreshing beer after we got done throwing axes across the street. Deffenitly worth checking out.

Great selection of beers! Also has huge area for sitting or playing games. Also has a large screen for when something major is on tv. Really cool location too!

I go every Wednesday, and honestly I don't ever expect that to change. Great staff, great drinks.

Fantastic beer. Amazing atmosphere. Wonderful staff. One of my favorite places in the country. A real MUST when visiting Greenville!

This is probably the worst brewery experience I ve had. Beer was average but the terrible customer service was the most notable thing. They served rotten fish, which we sent back, and then they charged us for it all the while being incredibly rude (particularly the male manager with dark brown hair). I d avoid this place if you don t want food poisoning and mediocre beer. Go somewhere better and nicer!

What a great place. We were headed to the airport for an 8:50 pm flight so we had the entire day to chill. We opted for a brewery toward the airport. Lyft didn't even know this place was there.

Once inside (huge open space) we sat at the bar. We sampled (no flights just 10 oz pours) the IPA's and the stouts/nitros. All good.

Staff were friendly. It was brew day so we were able to watch them do that.

Clean and bathrooms are great. Wonderful place and we would return time and time again. Definitely go here!

Great atmosphere, and they host hymns and hops which is a fun time all around. Great beers, great worship.

It's a cool place. Has a small menu where everything we tried was decent. The open plan makes it super casual, and they have a good variety on tap, so you can always find something enjoyable.

The only reason for the 4 star is that the bar-order system is pretty haphazard. If they would nail down the order taking locations, it wouldn't be so chaotic. We were there on trivia night, and sometimes is felt like I was having to flag down a bartender to get an order in, and people around me were doing the same. A little more organization there would go a long way.

Will go again.

I love 13 Stripes! Excellence has never been this much fun. It s more than a place and it s more than a pour. It s a community and you ll be a part of it the moment you walk in. They truly are creating a legacy by bringing the past into present and setting the standard for the future. The way it once was. The way it should be!

Nice brewery to stop for a beer after our flight coming in at GSP. Beers were delicious. Friendly service. We ordered food from next door. Didn t realize they had a taco truck there. Tacos & beers are my fave!
Would love to see half patio designated non-smoking.

Great place to catch up with friends or make new ones. Selection is great and atmosphere is the best.

Play some music. Choose a genre of music and play it. If u are too insecure about what your clintele prefers, put in a jukebox. Wifi speakers on patio. On a side note too many kids. This isn't Disneyland but then again they would have music.......and Princesses

Great beer with good variety, I love that they feature some guest taps including some non-beer drafts. The atmosphere is top notch, just saw a show there for the first time last month and it was great.

Every time I visit I either make new or run into old friends; the sense of community is the best around. Love the mix of the patrons, too. Always family friendly

The Townsend English Pub nitro is my go-to, and hard to find anything to compete around Greenville.

I am not a beer person, but their stuff is good! Family friendly, clean, and definitely an easy place to hang out and chill out with good people.

I m not one to leave a bad review or even a mediocre review. Service is normally below average, but tolerable at this brewery. I come back because the beer is great and food is decent as well. Not to mention it s one of the coolest locations in SC. Tonight was the absolute worst service I have ever had at any brewery. Service I would rate this place a 1. Beer/food a 5. The bartenders would walk past you repeatedly. I didn t even order more drinks because you would stand at the bar while the bartender socialized or the founder would pass you up continuously. I considered walking behind the bar for my card after standing at the bar for at least 20 minutes being ignored. We had a group of 12 people, and I honestly felt embarrassed I suggested the brewery. The guy running food worked the hardest amongst all of the staff. Our food was delivered promptly and he cleared the glasses/plates regularly.

My hands-down favorite brewery to hang out at! I love the vibe, and creative new beers rotate in and out frequently, so there s always something new to try. They often have events going on, so follow them on social media to get a heads up. And if you haven t tried it- go! You can thank me later.

A fun place to go and hang out with friends, or to meet new ones. The staff is always very friendly and they have a good rotating selection of beers. The recently added Tacos And Mas food menu is very good too. Plenty to choose from.

Fantastic NYE experience with The Carousers live music. Food was excellent and taps were fresh. They have a wide range of beers for all tastes as well as a few collaborations with other local breweries. Overall a great local brewery in Taylors SC

Visiting Greenville I was brought over to 13 Stripes by my old college buddies that know all the happening places in town. I was at first very impressed with the industrial complex that houses the brewery. As an Architect I am a big fan of cities revitalizing and giving new life to these forgotten structures that are part of our heritage.

This Brewery has a lot of character. I m always looking for a place that balances great beer with an awesome atmosphere without being snobby. There were plenty of beers on tap, they have something for everyone. I recommend trying the Freeborn if you are into IPA s. Found the staff to be friendly and knowledgeable. Overall is it a great place to hang with friends. A great crowd with a hip vibe was there the night we stopped in.

Definitely on my list of must go stops when visiting Greenville. I look forward to returning next time I m in town.

13 Stripes offers a consistently good selection of tasty beer. They also sell food, but the choices are quite limited. Think potato chips or bread and cheese. The bartenders and staff are generally friendly and happy to answer questions.

EDIT: They no longer serve food other than chips and a Boar s Head snack pack, but food trucks are regularly onsite, and I believe you can bring your own food if needed.

Though the brewery is a bit off the beaten path, it's located in a former mill and the atmosphere is uniquely cool and laid back. It's also family friendly as kids are welcome. At one point, there was a playpen onsite. Though children in a brewery may aggravate some, I've never had any issues except the one time a kid literally went pogo sticking through the building. Pogo sticking!

Of all the breweries in town, 13 Stripes is my favorite. Definitely worth a trip to Taylors.

Fun find on the fly. I was very intrigued by the warehouse complex. I tried a sip of the American Wheat but it turned out to be too bitter for me, which isn't hard. So they suggested doing have American Wheat with half of the Kombucha guest brew and it made a tasty little shandy.

Being at this spot was incredible! I was coming in from out of town and always love checking out the local beer scene and this place did not disappoint. Great beer, welcoming people, and awesome ambiance all around. And you can order fantastic food from next door and they will bring it over to you...amazing!

without a doubt one of the best places in the upstate to have a good time. Friendly atmosphere, friendly people, friendly staff and a incredible lineup of beers. The staff offers a refreshing explanation of every beer and a perfect place for the first time microbrew taster.

Easily the best venue of any craft brewery in the up state. Great place to spend an afternoon with some friends. Beer is very good. Maybe not great but enjoyable. Had a great time and will be back..... probably often. The kitchen and some non alcoholic drinks made it fun for our DD too!

Good beer and friendly staff. The building is amazing. However there was a herd of screaming, shrieking children running around, and this was a Saturday evening. When did it become acceptable to take children into bars. The place even has high chairs. My suggestion to the owners is either no one under 21 or do an adult only night.

Great local brewery with some good food trucks. They have plenty of seating inside and outside. Farehouse restaurant next door is also good!!

One of my favorite places to hang out. If you like craft beer then this place is for you. Very friendly staff. Family friendly. Some nights they have food catering, and live music. Beer prices are very reasonable. There's indoor and outdoor seating. No smoking inside, but on Monday nights they have a cigar salesman outside on the front deck. Anyone and everyone is welcome here, hipsters to hillbillies we all have a great time. Also this place is very clean, nice restrooms.
