Visiting Greenville I was brought over to 13 Stripes by my old college buddies that know all the happening places in town. I was at first very impressed with the industrial complex that houses the brewery. As an Architect I am a big fan of cities revitalizing and giving new life to these forgotten structures that are part of our heritage.

This Brewery has a lot of character. I m always looking for a place that balances great beer with an awesome atmosphere without being snobby. There were plenty of beers on tap, they have something for everyone. I recommend trying the Freeborn if you are into IPA s. Found the staff to be friendly and knowledgeable. Overall is it a great place to hang with friends. A great crowd with a hip vibe was there the night we stopped in.

Definitely on my list of must go stops when visiting Greenville. I look forward to returning next time I m in town.
