Drove from Charlotte to check it out. Well worth it. 13 Stripes nailed the milk stout.
Drove from Charlotte to check it out. Well worth it. 13 Stripes nailed the milk stout.
Love the pub ale, as it's as close as you can get to a British bitter anywhere around here. Great atmosphere, as always.
Great place!! Visiting from Maryland and we loved it! It was a cool atmosphere with tons of options! I m not much of a beer drinker and I was able to find a few options I really enjoyed!!
One of my favorite spots. Sonnys Grill was there holding it down with some awesome BBQ! Taylors mill is really kicking off with 13 Stripes as its central hub!
13 Stripes is an old-world, craft brewery located in Taylors Mill. 13S focuses on building community through not only the shared experience of a good beer but also a wide variety of events. They host trivia nights, movie nights, local markets, festivals, and a lot more. They have a ton of parking and seating, and they always present a family-friendly atmosphere with games and sodas for kids. Be sure to try the Future World IPA !
This was my first time here, their IPA is awesome, and I love the atmosphere.
Went to Grand opening with family; good music, GREAT beer and very nice people there. Everything was very organized, even though place was packed. Good space for kids tp play while mom & dad relax and enjoy a tasty beer. Very cool, refurbished mill. I love the mix of old industrial space, casual seatong and picnic tables, contrasted to big stainless brewing tanks. We will be back for some more of that nitro milk stout.
Great beer!
But they do not answer the phone. Answer the phone and tell me if the food trucks are there . Is that too much to ask?
Well - I'm visiting 2 years later and I see they updated their phone answering to say they don't answer the phone. That's a start I guess.
Wonderful atmosphere and great beer! What else do you need
Amazing place! This is one of our favorite spots in all of Greenville. Beer selection is always updated and fresh. Just an FYI, the DD-214 is one of my top 10 all time. Fun, family atmosphere with great staff. Highly recommend!
Fantastic grand opening! Supper friendly staff and a welcoming environment. Glad to see the old mills coming back.
Should rename the brewery to 13 Stars because that's how many I wish I could give it
Great place for events and to hang out with friends.
My favorite brewery in Greenville now. Great staff, cold brews, and trendy location. Definitely worth the trip out to Taylors Mill.
Not our first visit. Place was crazy busy with soccer on the big screen. Good variety of beers.
We drove from Charlotte to come check out this Brewery and really were pleased. My husband really enjoyed the brews. The renovations that were done to bring the character to life of the old mill were incredible! It had a family friendly feel to it, they even had a changing room for the babies. It was spacious and the couches were really comfortable. The staff were friendly and willing to help. Parking was easy and accessible. Really well done and worth a visit out to! :)
Love this place!! Been here several times. Love the atmosphere that welcomes all including families. Good beer and nice selection. The staff is always friendly. Love the story behind the place, too.
Would have given 5 stars if cigarette smoke had not been wafting in from the open doors. However, the beer was great!
Fun spot to grab some great locally made beer and listen to music. There is also a restaurant next door serving tasty snacks and entrees. They will bring food to you at the brewery.
13 Stripes is the best atmosphere for a brewery in the Upstate! Gotta check it out if you haven't already!
Breaks my heart to go three star here, but a brewery that doesn't sell flights is like a moose wearing underpants, just not right. Amazingly cool spot though.
Love this place..great beer, friendly staff, and just a cool place to hang out! I meet friends here every chance I get
5 stars for opening this brewery in Taylors!!! So happy about that! The space is bright and fun. The beer is decent (a little flat when I tried it the first 3 visits, but that could be because they are still new). I will continue to come and drink beer. Love that Taylors Mills is being renovated in many areas. 13 Stripes is probably the best thing that could've gone in there because we are all aware of how much people love breweries. Dogs are welcome on the patio, but not inside due to their "kitchen". I am guessing that the kitchen will evolve in time. As of now they offer a cute little meat and cheese platter, which is lackluster for vegetarians. I still love this place and will continue to be a patron and I hope the community continues to support it, as it is offering something special to my new hometown of Taylors, South Carolina.
Amazing atmosphere. Great beer! The staff was very knowledgeable of every beer on tap helping all of choose the perfect match! I will be back!
Always a great place to relax with family and friends.
Great beer. Great atmosphere. Great service. Highly recommended.
Great place to grab a beer and spend time with friends.
First time going to 13 Stripes Brewery. The staff were so friendly and bartender was very helpful. Definitely a place I will go back to.
Great beer and an amazing building with plenty of room and a large patio. They don't have growler caps though. So if you want a growler fill, make sure to bring your own cap.
A gem hidden in an old mill straight out of The Walking Dead. Great beer and unique setup. Come for the beers, stay because you were bitten.
Beer is fantastic, food is great but eventually they have people playing music... extremely loud, definitely not comfortable...
Love this place. Great beer, perfect environment, and the people are top notch.
Great friendly brewery. Beer was on point. Outstanding Porter and DD-214 IPA. Bartender was super nice. She did a great job of answering my questions & telling us a little about the brewery & history of the building. The swing band they had for Prohibition Day was very good. Loud, but good. I will definitely try to come back one day.
Awesome place, fantastic beer, and family friendly....5 stars all the way
I'm a proud member of the 13 Stripes Founders Mug Club. This place was built by and is led by people who really care about great beer and building a great community.
Our drinks were very flat and after saying something they said that's how the diet coke tastes here. However the waitsaff did try to fix the issue with the poor tasting fountain drinks. Which we appreciated. The beer cheese appetizer was really good but wish there were a little more pretzels. Our meals were pretty good. Nothing too special about the pizza or chicken parmigiana but the atmosphere was really cool. Didn't hate anything about it, just didn't really like it either.
Great beer, great people, great atmosphere! What more could you ask for?
If you're going to a brewery in the Greenville area this is a must stop
Fantastic beer, beautiful decor, a welcoming, family-friendly atmosphere, and superb gentlemen who run the place. There isn't a bad brewery in the upstate of SC, but now this is one of, if not *the* best. The location among the artist community in the historic Taylors Mill is perfect. They have sodas for the kids--bring them too. If you really love beer, consider joining their mug club as well. You need to come check 13S out immediately. You won't regret it!
Amazing beer and a friendly staff! Great place to bring some friends!
Yummy beer, friendly staff and great atmosphere to relax and have a pint. Try the IPA s and Barrel Aged anything
13 Stripes is a must-visit brewery! Great beer, awesome people and a killer location!
Always love this place good beers. First time I have been back since October. Love how they are keeping up with the guidelines and cleaning each table and chairs after each use during this pandemic. Definitely feel safe will continue going back.
Large selection of high gravity beers including many that are barrel-aged. Excellent. Great ambiance.
A great brewery to visit. As someone who likes being a "brewery tourist", this has become my go-to place for a chill hangout with solid beer. Nothing too hype-y about them, just solid brews. However, they do also brew an evolving NEIPA series (Future World), as well as some BA stouts that rival the more well known breweries/beers (Olde Soul is looking at you, Westbrook).
They have some of the coolest people that work there. Super chill, down to earth owners and bartenders that will help you get acquainted with their beers and the brewery.
Be sure to check out Cigar Mondays every week (beer + cigars = a great time), as well as Hymns and Hops every 6 weeks (beer + cigars + singing = an even greater time).
We love 13 Stripes! Always a unique selection that changes frequently and the staff is very attentive and knowledgeable. Make sure to join the mug club!
Every beer was outstanding. You have to try them all. Great atmosphere and staff.
The best citrus based beer on tap I've ever tasted!
I love the Revolutionary era aesthetic and beer recipes. At the opening they had the Sons of the Revolution open up (in full revolutionary attire) with the pledge of allegiance. The American Wheat was an exceptional beer that I will definitely have again. The location is in a historic textile mill which was very cool.
Good beer, nice atmosphere. They need to rethink smoking policy! Folks smoke on deck and it just blows right back into the building where non-smoking patrons are seated.
Great beer, Great atmosphere, Great people. I ve tried nearly everything on the menu. I live about 7-8 hours away and tried the place when I was in town, but I would make the trip again JUST to come here. Besides, who can t get behind that 13 Stripes theme!
Incredible atmosphere! Probably the best brewery atmosphere I've ever been to. Tucked nicely behind a few factory buildings, this place is a hidden gem! Open floor plan, space for large groups, singles, and a community table outside. Dog and kid friendly. Small bites to munch on. He cheese platter was an awesome addition to our stouts. My cousin doesn't love beer but they had housemate wine on tap that was chilled! She was extremely happy! Half pints available which was great for trying! Had an incredible time and will definitely be back to try more!
Great atmosphere and beer. Very courteous and knowledgeable staff.
What a fun atmosphere!! The Grand Opening was spectacular, a sure sign that good things are in store for 13 Stripes Brewery. We loved being here for the opening and cannot wait until we're back in the area for some more. You can certainly tell that the people here have poured their blood, sweat and tears into this brewery. Such attention to detail and fine craftsmanship everywhere, and great beer doesn't hurt either! Milk stout or Red Rye??? Both are wonderful!
Great beer, nice staff, cool atmosphere, good music.
Great craft brewery. Plenty of parking. Implement social distancing guidelines but it's easy in their space. Wine and cider for non-beer drinkers. Friendly and helpful staff.
Incredible spot along with incredible people. A must
It's a nice place and the employees were helpful. I've had better beer at other breweries in Greenville though.
We love coming to 13 Stripes! It s the perfect place for our date night. We can sit at the bar and enjoy the company of the staff, sit on one of the comfy couches and play a game of Chinese Checkers or sit out on the deck and enjoy the outdoors. And the beer is always amazing! We also love that there is always new beers being released and we can sample them before deciding which one or two or three we will enjoy!
Really cool venue in an old mill, with events happening at the bleachery or surrounds all of the time. We will drive out from downtown to visit and enjoy.
Neat location, friendly staff. Enjoyed the Kovats and outdoor seating! Will definitely come again.
They had around ten beers on tap at as as a cider and red wine. I got the hazy IPA and loved it. The building is really cool too and they had a variety of board games to play.
The atmosphere in a repurposed mill is pretty cool. Spacious with good parking. No flights served which is disappointing to not be able to try multiples of their beers. They do have a pretty good selection. Smallest pour is 10 oz. They do have a small menu for food. Also no diet sodas which is what my wife has to drink. But overall a good experience. Seems like a good place to hang out. Even on a 90 degree day the place was comfortable with the open area and fans going.
Good bbq pork sandwich and beer selection. Great atmosphere with live music.
