Amazing. We came here two days in a row because our 2 and 4 year olds loved it so much. It was crowded, but not overwhelming. The museum pass we have for our local museum in Colorado got us in here also or else it would have been a bit pricey.

We took our 8 and 9 year old niece and nephew on community night. It was pretty packed but it's set up where kids can really just go where and when they want so it didn't matter much. I didn't find it to be as educational as some museums I've been to, but it beats TV and video games any day! I'm glad I got to see them get their hands on things, explore, interact with other kids (and adults!), and just be kids! The staff was really nice and patient as well. Super nice and clean facility!

Excellent, was there today with my granddaughters and we spent 3 hours. There was so much to do, they are still talking about it hours later. Even though we arrived at 1030am it was already pretty crowded, but learning stations were well staffed and all flowed well. A place to go, we are considering a membership.

I was really impressed the first time I came here and significantly less so the second. They try to switch it up as much as they can but I can see why the kids groan when we say we are going here. Regardless, if you are looking for a place to talk with your kids about science this place is awesome. It's a reasonable value as well.

Nice place, however anti gun. E-mailed them several times asking about their plan to protect our children if some bad actor with a firearm attempts to harm our children and have not gotten a response. They are posted 30.06 and 30.07 preventing only a licensed individuals from entering while carrying a handgun. Because, what criminal do you know abides by silly signage???

Great place! Very family friendly as it reminds me of the children's museum's that I used to visit as a child. Lots of different areas to explore different aspects of science. Outdoor play area to wear the kids at also. Cool gift shop with toys to take home.

My son says he had a really good/fun time but a lot of the things there looked to have been meant for children in the area of age 5. There was only a couple of things that kept my 8 year old engaged for a while.

Great place for kids! Lots of cool interactive things to play with and we had the pleasure of being there for an event where our son could pet different kinds of animals. Definitely one of the highlights of our Austin trip.

It was a great place to take my 5 & 2.5 year old. I love that it is so hands on. My kids were never bored! They loved the light room, and the farmer's market. We stayed for about 4 hours and didn't notice! We will definitely be back! I gave it 4 stars instead of 5, because I feel linger they have room to grow. They can add a few more areas. Like Dinosaurs, a butterfly room, exhibiting their lifestyles, etc.

The Thinkery is a great children's museum that is fun for all ages. There are a ton of hands on exhibits, story time, and unique activities. Not to mention the awesome playground! Our 4yo girl loves it here, and we love the proximity to Kerbey Lane and Halcyon.

Had our daughter's birthday here, just invited some families to join us, and had an amazing time. It entertained our infant and nine year old at the same time, as well as all the other kids. Definitely recommend visiting.

The Thinkery is really great if you've got a kid in your life who's full of curiosity and energy. There's a ton of fun stuff stuff for them to do, with you or while you enjoy the complimentary WiFi. It has one of the best playgrounds I've seen (I'm seriously jealous for my own childhood of broken swings, scalding metal slides, and evil spinny-throwy-running deathtraps), and it's got shade and an indoor overseer's area for adults. There are a wonderful array of fun and interesting activities that are hands on and creative so you can be the hero without having to own 976573 STEM/STEAM kits (and their billions of tiny, painful parts) at home. They apparently have craft events, too, but the exhibits are incredibly crafty in their own right (though the kids can't take those home).

Just be warned that there's another fantastic park - Mueller Park - literally across the street from the entrance. You'll be exhausted after all the fun at Thinkery, but the kids will hit their second wind as soon as they see it!

Went with a 5 year old and two 1.5 year olds. They had a blast and loved it! Recommend getting a membership since it pays for itself. I also recommend bringing an extra change of clothes if your kid plays in the water section.

There's a parking garage nearby and it's only $1/hour.

My kid just finished a week summer camp at the Thinkery - he had an awesome time! He learned very interesting STEaM topics with practical applications. Most of all I love the abundance of staff. There's no where to turn without running into at least one staff member with a smiling face. The classroom student numbers were capped at about 15-20 ((YES, Thank you)) & there were THREE Staff members in the class. I wish public and private schools were run like this - seriously it's high-priced but worth every single penny. I hope the Thinkery continues to maintain staff levels like this all year around - how awesome they spend so much time having unique things always going on for people who visit weekly on memberships. The little things: haven't opened the door myself all week because there's always a staff member opening and greeting... it's like walking into your own exclusive club. Thank you for being truly customer centric, Thinkery management!

Great place for kids to run around and spend their excess energy. I think the hygiene needs some help as my kid caught something each of the two times that we went. Some equipment look dirty and worn, otherwise the place is pretty great.

Best children's museum experience. There's something for every age and inclination. The convenience of the restaurants and ice cream in the same shopping center really help complete a baby outing.

We enjoyed taking our toddler to this excellent kids science museum. There are plenty of interactive exhibits and play areas to keep young ones occupied for an hour or more, and there are even more activities suitable for older children.

A related benefit is that there is a great park across the street, and tons of restaurants and cafes at Mueller. The parking garage is close and reasonably priced. The only downside is that it could make for an expensive excursion, as tickets are $12 for adults and children aged two and older.

My kids(13,9, & 7) loved spending the day here. There was so much to do and the staff was incredible! A place where they can paint, make believe, get wet, learn and explore all kinds of great things while experimenting with science is always a fun time for my girls.

My son really enjoyed this place! The outdoor area is neat and the area where the kids get to play with water was also entertaining. They provide aprons as well, so your child does not get soaked! It is a great fun and learning experience.

Great place for children to enrich there little minds. Would give it 5 stars except didn't really like the time compressed guided part. My child didn't even have enough time to get the full experience of the activity.

Really cool place. Has activities for children who are able to stand or crawl. Make sure to have an extra set of clothes for the water area. Lots of visual stimulation and just pure interaction with items and other kiddos. Very entertaining for sure.

Great place for the kids to be interactive and play with some cool things. The area this is located is fantastic with Mueller Park across the street. Definitely a must go and very affordable. Parking is a bit rough but what isn t it Austin?

Visited while on family vacation. We all had a great time! There was a ton to do, good for several age groups (us adults even enjoyed it) and seemed to be a little more "learning based" instead of totally "free play and discover" type. Thoroughly enjoyed and will absolutely be returning. It could get a little chaotic when super busy but the whole thing had a good flow and if one section got too popular it was very easy to just switch to a little less popular section for a bit. Spent the entire day here! We really appreciated the parking garage since we were out of town and not very familiar with the area.

Great place to take your kids. They have something for just about all ages, at least 2-10 I would say. Other parents are nice so sometimes you can strike up interesting conversations.
Parking can be difficult in the area but there is a very nice parking garage a block away that even accommodates large vehicles. I give 4 stars, main downside is that you can tell space was a constraint, it's in a prime real estate area. The DoSeum in san Antonio is larger and has more stuff , so we go there more regularly and come here for a change. Definitely highly recommended.

We love this place, my son s class went here last year for a field trip and wouldn t stop talking about it. So, we took all 3 kids this year as their end of spring break trip and so glad we did. We spent 6hrs here, our kids(ages 8 & 3yrs and a 10months old baby) were all entertained. We did all the activities offered, everything was geared towards different age groups and there was something for everyone, even adults. I loved the little nursery areas, my baby loved the upstairs Bloomer area, we could stay in this place all day. We spent $48 for 2 adults and 3kids, the baby was free. They even have a beautiful playground outside which was the last spot we visited before leaving. There is an awesome ice cream place next door that we took the kids to, nice treat to cool down after a long day of playing. We will definitely go back, that was a well spent $48, by the way, they have stroller parking areas as well as a cute nursing room which I took full advantage of. Awesome awesome place!
