Amazing Hotel. Beautiful decor, service was amazing. The suites are well worth the upgrade. We stayed over a weekend and was able to wall for everything we did. It is in the middle of everything theaters, shopping and food. Bed was super comfy. This was our second time at this hotel and have booked another double tree property in St Louis. Hope its as nice as Chicago

After 2,000+ nights in luxury hotels spanning 6 continents and more than 70 countries, I have become (regrettably) a bit of a hotel diva. My expectations are probably unrealistically high. However, TheWit has exceeded every expectation to such a degree I often feel breathless and astonished with delight. This is a 4 Star property that consistently delivers 6 Star service (and this is coming from truly one of the hardest critics in hospitality). This property is a diamond (and not just for Diamond members). If you need to be in downtown Chicago, this should be your first pick of a hotel.

I stayed here with a colleague for a business trip. We found the rooms to be spacious and clean with plenty of amenities. The food at the restaurant was great. You can find GF food options and it s clearly marked for events. Nice conference space. My favorite little extra was hearing birds in the hallways in the morning and hearing crickets at night. All over the sound system. Nice touch. It s not a cheap place to stay but I d say it s worth it, especially since it s so centrally located. You can walk to so many great sightseeing places like the park and the theaters. Great stay!

Thoroughly enjoy my stay here. The location is perfect. You can walk to see Hamilton, walk to the train to the airport, walk to the bean, and sooo much more. The rooms are clean and the views of the city are incredible. The rooftop bar was so much fun! Great crowd and mix of music. If you get there after midnight you may have to wait to get in.

Saw a show at the Chicago Theatre. Was so nice to be across the street. Bus stop out front took us straight to the Shedd. All the L lines were out the front door. I could not ask for a better location. Rooms were a standard double tree room. My only complaint was how ridiculously good looking the staff on the rooftop was. I really felt out of place, LOL

My boyfriend and I stayed here for two nights and there are zero complaints. Room had a nice view and comfy bed. Our experience was great from the moment we stepped out of the car. The valet guy was very nice and helpful. Staff helped with our luggage from the car to the room. We were able to check in early. Ashley at the front desk was funny and personable. She even helped us extend our stay from one night to a second night. The concierge, Eric, was hilarious and very friendly. He answered our questions, gave great recommendations, directions, and even joked with us when we came down to the lobby. We will definitely plan stay here again and recommend to people we know. It was all about our experience and it didn't even feel like we were at a hotel.

We recently stayed for three nights at theWit. We had a great time here. The room was nice and clean. The view was great. We did get a corner room, which was an upgrade over the standard room, but we'll worth it if you enjoy a view of the city below. We gave the rooftop restaurant a go as well. It was pretty nice. We went on a Sunday evening so it was pretty dead, which is more our speed, but it looked pretty lively on Friday and Saturday evening. The location was perfect for two middle aged tourists. Close to the blue line station from O'Hare and right next to the orange line station from Midway.

I stay at this place because it's a trendy hotel in the Chicago area... that and the bar upstairs. Only problem is that it is very exclusive and sometimes a pain to get in. When staying at the hotel you can hear the ambient noise... but oh well that is the price you have to pay to sometimes be exclusive.

DISCRIMINATION AGAINST AFRICAN AMERICAN..This past...

DISCRIMINATION AGAINST AFRICAN AMERICAN..This past Saturday my Mother and Aunt decided to celebrate their 50th Birthday and Anniversary of 28 years at the Wit Hotel. The initial plan was to stay at the hotel and enjoy the roof top, however we were discriminated against because we were a party of 10 professional African American's well groomed. My mother had a two bedroom suite for two nights and my aunt had a room for one night. When we first arrived to check in guest service were accommodating and had good customer service. When it came time for us to go too the roof top we were told their only allowing people with reservation or on the guest list to attend, mind you we were there at 9:30. We ask about table service and was told that it will only seat four people with the min price of $600. I informed them that's too much and how much to get in, they stated $20 for men and $10 for women. We agreed to that price and was told to wait, later the manager of roof top came down and said we can't accommodate your group tonight. I asked why and he said he didn't have to explain and have the right to refuse entry and will only accommodate table reservation or the guest list. Mind you everyone was dress appropriately and over the age of 30. We stood there in shock and watched other's obtain entrance that were not African American and not on the guest list or have table reservation. My Mother and Aunt deiced to stay at the hotel because it was to late to check out however we did leave and attend another venue downtown. Please don't give this hotel service your money because they racial profile against a group of individual due to us being African American. There are plenty of other hotels to go too besides the Witt. Please don't stay here!

The Supervisor of the bar on the top floor should be Fired immediately. He needs to learn how to deal with customers. He said my party of 10 people couldn't have a multiple tabs. He lacks integrity, people skills and needs to learn he ruined the entire WIT experience for the Determan party. Very Unfortunate. Our next trip will def be at the Waldorf Astoria where Customer Service is #1. The Wit personnel need training on Communication and Hospitality. FAILED HANDS DOWN

Great views from the upper floors, comfortable room. Very chic and in the heart of the city. Easy walk to the Mag Mile and River North. Great service, solved problems immediately. Eric the concierge helped me make my wife's stay awesome.

So you have to pay for wifi, it's a boutique hotel in Chicago. If you want free wifi and a breakfast buffet you should hit a family chain.

Eh, just not for me.

Eh, just not for me.

I had gone on a Monday this past summer to watch a movie on the Roof (FYI - these don't start till 8:30 or so).

Was a good looking crowd, drink options were varied and had a great view.

Seats were uncomfortable. Servers all looked the same (tall, white, skinny, brunette a in matching outfits!)

We were looking for a place to staycation during Thanksgiving weekend because it was my partner s bday and we wanted to treat ourselves. After looking at multiple locations in downtown Chicago, theWit won us over with their hotel suites and world-renowned rooftop bar.

Our check-in was fast and pleasant and shortly after arriving in our room, the staff sent up a chocolate dessert for my partner and I to share. It was just a little treat, but it really set the mood even further for us.

Over the course of our stay, we used room service frequently and they were always faster than expected. We enjoyed the large bathroom in the spa suite and the view from the 22nd floor. I would highly recommend this hotel and will likely look here for our next home away from home.

Lastly, I d like to highlight that we did throw a party of sorts and it got louder than expected, but the staff was very professional in letting us know. We received a knock on the door and were asked to remove anyone not registered to the room. I was very appreciative that they treated us and our guests so kindly. Thanks again!

Enjoyed a one night stay. Had a room in the 23rd floor with great view and amenities. Hotel is located in the theater district near restaurants and shopping but not located in the "touristy" Michigan avenue area. Enjoyed pre-dinner drinks at the rooftop bar. Overall, a very enjoyable stay, would recommend.

Went to the rooftop for a private event. Loved the venue, apps we're fine, bite-sized falafel were the sstandout. Servers were awesome. Bartender at the bar could have been a bit more attentive, interrupting a friend of mine mid-order to talk to another employee. Knowing what prices are normally, I think they are a bit lofty even for this venue.... Pun intended.

Ate at State and Lake before watching a comedy show at the Chicago Theatre. Can't beat the convenient location! Their signature Manhattan is tasty and they use proper Luxardo cherries. The burger and fries are excellent, while the short rib dish was also quite good.

The service was great. The hotel is very nice, and quite trendy, especially for a Hilton. It is right on the main metro loop, so super easy to get anywhere in the city. Only complaint is overnight parking is egregious.

Excellent hotel. Amazing service. It is a little pricey but the location was perfect for us. Walking distance to all theaters and nightlife. Room 2104 offers views of State Street and river. My only complaint is the shower in my last day started backing up. It was a non-issue, but mentioned it to the front desk upon checkout. Again, service was top notch. Everyone there made us feel very welcome and accommodated everything we requested.

First time at theWit and it was amazing. The best part was the the Bell Boys. The first night CJ took care of us and recommended us some great spots to eat. On check out day we had a different gentleman and he was just as good. The customer service was over the top. Have recommended them to all of my friends. Thanks CJ!

Very nice hotel to look at. That's about it. Stayed here for 3 nights. Went to the roof top club. Very nice atmosphere. But the service is absolutly horrible, considering how much you are paying to stay at the hotel and for there bottle service the staff should be more helpful. the club was pretty much empty and they sat us in our section. You will have to get up and find your waitress everytime you need something. Seems like the staff would rather be partying with their friend rather than serving their customers. Left early and went to Cuvee had a great night, they know how to treat customers. As far as the hotel goes they will change the rates of pretty much everything.. room rates wines rates and foos rates. They up charge without any notice and it to your bill and blow your mind when you are checking out. To give you an example 5 bottles of patron cost $371 I retuned 4 of them and the one i kept cost me $171. I strongly suggest that you stay somehwere where you actually get the service you are paying for. It's almost like they took course on how to rip you off. They do it brlliantly. I urge anyone who has any questions to email me. I will be glad to help. Plenty of other great hotels in town and this area. Please don't waste your time or money. Good Luck! O ya 2 mens manis at the spa cost $200 with tip. lol
