Busy pub on a Saturday, managed to get a sofa by the door. Football was playing but it wasn't intrusive as sometimes it can be if you're not engaged in it. When visiting the ladies I came across the outdoor area, and if it wasn't such a bitter night it would have been pleasant to sit out, it's decked with roughly 4? decent sized seating areas and patio heaters which is always a treat for us dirty tabbers!

Great social hangout with good quality real ales, choice of San Miguel/Moretti and other lagers. Also has a good choice of wine and super selection of gin too. Cannot vouch for the food, apart from the chips which were yummy, but the staff are great and so is the lovely landlady Louise. Thanks for another great night!!

Pub itself is brilliant however it has been taken over from Francesca and Richard and is now run by a very rude lady Louise would not recommend other staff members (who have been there since previous management) are wonderful it s just the landlady is very much in her own bubble and just not very nice at all

This has recently been taken over by a lovely young managing family couple. They're trying to make this into a family pub and deserve to make it a success. The food isn't open as of yet but will be soon, and then you will be in for a treat, as it will be mostly ALL home cooked and freshly prepared. (I personally know the chef and know how hard he works at making sure the food is just right!) They have 2 dart boards and have already started putting on entertainment, such as a kiddies Halloween special. Also recently Saturday evening entertainment. Please help this lovely couple make this pub a special place to visit and become a success.

A great evening spent learning how to make mojitos. I can't wait to try the new tapas menu and the Gluten free roast dinner next time we visit. Lovely atmosphere and very friendly host and staff.

Went to look to see about the wheelchair access. You can get into the pub. But it only leads to a place with very high bar tables and stools, next to the friut machine and TV. So not really access to the pub proper.

The latest team to turn the pub back into the place to be are making a great success of it. Great beer, great manner and a warm welcome Today sees the opening of the kitchen. Can't wait to try it out. Will be going at lunchtime with fingers crossed.

Thie is the first time I've been to a pub since December. Obviously a bit strange given the circumstances, BUT the staff were awesome. Greeted with a smile, courteous and professional. Definitely popping back for a few.

Visited last Sunday to grab a bite to eat. On arrival I was made to feel very welcome by the staff. Ordered a Roast Beef, it very well presented, tasted wonderful and it was a good sized portion. The menu for the week is well varied and then Roast s and tapas style food on Sundays. They also have a wide range of Beers, Ciders and Real Ale on tap, bottled Beers and Ciders along with a huge range of spirits. As an added bonus they had the F1 on over 3 TV s.

A nice little pub....we were there during a football match it was a bit of a shame they had TV's everywhere and all you could hear was the football but after the match finished we could chat comfortably.
