Very disappointed with this training provider. I told them my daughter was a complete novice prior to them accepting her 'all smiles'. I haveJust picked her up in tears following her second CBT that Branson's advertise as a 1 day training course, yet seem to run as a 'short as possible' assessment.

Both times her day was ended before lunch time. (This is despite following Dens advice, and changing her from a manual to an auto bike for the retake in order to 'as good as garentee a pass next time').

It is unfair that the advertised 'days course' (that il admit does require a '2hour road ride') has now, on two occasions, ended before lunch time, and just proves all they want to do is pass the fastest and fail anybody who requires actual 'training'.

Throughout both occasions my daughter was with other candidates and received NO 1 to 1 tuition.

On her 2nd day She claims she was subject to a comment about the instructor's 8 yr old being able to do better than her (this was the guaranteed retake- on the auto!).

I question if this experience should be in fact be a matter for trading standards to investigate. A CBT is 'compulsary basic TRAINING' right?.

Now found another local provider very nearby who advertise 'one fee despite how many days the training might take'. They claim to provide 1 on 1 tuition throughout, have cheaper fee's, brand new bikes, and have confirmed upon visiting them, that they would NOT end a days training before 4pm.

Seems you dont ALLWAYS 'get what you pay for'!!!!.

Brought a second hand bike from bransons in 2016 Nothing but trouble from the start.
Bike wouldnt start when i wanted to take it out. Took back numerous times. Was told it had new parts fitted (pick up coil rectifier and battery and a broken wire) and they had fixed it. But was clearly still had old parts. When confronted they told me it was not the rectifier so put old one back on.lied to my face! Bike was damaged when in for repair. Not a thing offered! They polished it it had a scrape on the tank! Still waiting for the phone call to repair. (1 year later) offered a 3 month warranty. They couldnt give a toss. Oh yeah by the way that new battery which you apparently fitted! It was dated 2006 my bike is a 2007. I have changed the battery so it now starts when i want to ride it!!
Would never by another bike from them if that is how they treat customers!

Lyndsey was brilliant when i was looking for clothing - Lots to view and try on ensuring i could choose the correct stuff for me.
and they were very competitive on price. so much easier to deal with than online companies.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Able to answer all my questions and happy to chat about motorbikes. No pushy sales people which really puts me off a place. My friends weren't wrong when they recommended this place and I will be recommending it to other bikers now as well.

If Dennis tells you that you will pass then you will and there's no need to argue about it. He knows what he's talking about! It was an absolute pleasure to do my course and tests with Bransons team. I've passed in first attempt thanks to friendly and relaxed atmosphere, clear and very competent instructions, and a bit of personalised songs over the radio. I can't recommend Stef and Den enough. I'd love to ride with them again, but they were just too good at their job and made me pass too easily! Thank you guys!

This is a good main dealer that has a great selection of new and used bikes for every style and price range you could need.
The parts and service desk staff are really friendly and efficient and the coffee isnt bad too. There's also a good selection of helmets, clothing and accessoried to choose from.
Basically this is a 1 stop shop for all of your biking needs and I've been a happy customer of theirs for over 10 years now, buying new and used bikes, parts and using the workshop for repairs and servicing.
All in all I give them top marks

Excellent service. Fixed price annual maintenance carried out exactly as described and on time. Free hot drinks while you wait/browse. I think a loan bike was available if needed. Good range of new and second hand bikes in stock, and sales chaps had time to talk. Lots of eqpt for sale too, at all prices. Highly recommended.

Everything about Bransons motorcycles is absolutely first class and would recommend them every time.
All the staff are friendly and welcoming, making you feel very at ease. Chris will do all he can to make sure you get your tests as soon as possible, even if that means taking you there himself.

As for the training, everything right from my CBT all the way through to my MOD 2 was done with Den. I really can't recommend him highly enough, a fantastic instructor and a genuinely nice guy to be taught by. Got me through every test first time thanks to his help.

10/10.

Could not speak higher of the team at Bransons. Relaxed, fun and educational. A professional service from taking my CBT all the way up to completing my Direct Access and leaving with a full bike licence. The bikes supplied are a lot of fun too!

They took me from no experience on a bike to full licence in four and a half days. No mess, no fuss, simple and easy.

If your looking at learning to ride a motorbike, do it here.

Cracking team ! Sarena handling my short notice on wanting to get the CBT and direct access course done in a really short amount of time. Dens got a cracking sense of humour and really knows what he's doing with the training. Passed first time on both modules and now I'm free to give my mother heart attacks for the rest of her days ! All in all had a really great experience! 10/10 would recommend.

Apart from a young girl, nobody else was interested in helping. Guys behind the counter were more interested in their own thing. One particularly sorting out something to do with his daughter on the phone several times. Yamaha and Kawasaki showrooms are nicely kept, Honda dealership looking a little tired with not very much in new stock motorcycles. Reasonable range of clothing.

Such a fantastic day whilst doing my CBT. Steph is a brilliant, funny and charismatic instructor, fair and has an excellent amount of patience. I felt safe, in control and always knew I was being taken care of by someone who had a passion for everything motorcycle related!
Bransons Motorcycles was clean, sanitised and offered a good selection of refreshments throughout the day. They even catered for my hearing impairment, which I was incredibly grateful for.
Just absolute first class, second-to-none service all round!
I learnt a lot in such a short amount of time in a high-energy, fun and exciting way.
I will definitely be going back for my full motorcycle training after I pass my theory.
Thanks so much again, guys. I d work with you all if I could!

This was my second time using this training school (first time was a couple of year ago for my A2). Went in to book my training in late August. Chris was very hepful and tired to get me the best and most convinient training and test dates (which was much more difficult than it sounds given how things have been going this year).
Got it booked and started mid/late September. I had Den as an instructor and he took the time to go through all Mod 1 excercises with me. He also gave me plenty of tips for my Mod 2, as I already had previous road experience and didn't have too many bad habbits to break. He was also extremely laid back and overall just a really nice bloke. If I could give Bransons Kawasaki Motorcycle Training more than 5 stars I 100% would! (Den's singing was heavenly as well)

Very good customer service when I bought my bike from them.
Just wish they could have told me what type of engine oil was in the bike (mineral, semi or fully synth). A quick call to Kawasaki could have found this out for me.
Dirty bogs too!

There a helpful bunch , and do what they can to sort you out, although sometimes it's like they need a few more employees on the showroom floor to help as I walked around for about 20 mins before someone asked if I needed any help

From the first phone to call to picking up my license, Bransons made the process a real pleasure. Approachable, knowledgeable and top of their instructors game, Den and Stef know how to coach, cajole and kick (when necessary) to get your skills up to ride and pass your test. Highly recommended.

Saw a bike on their website and decided to go and see it, have a test ride.
I was given the bike for an hour with no sales pressure.

On my return Ian the salesman, presided over the deal, which he did experty and in a very helpful, friendly way.

I found the customer service in every manner was exemplary yet professional.
I would highly recommend Branson's to friends, colleagues, even enemies !!!
