Ok, so first time in Tucson and staying at this resort. The views were amazing, the staff was pretty accommodating and I enjoyed the atmosphere. BUT...items in my room were broken from the small bathroom mirror on the wall to the outside screendoor NEVER shutting fully and the stand up shower got the floor soaked. I ate over priced food not worth finishing and had hotel guest staying above me stomping around at all hours of the night. The gift shop worker's were the nicest people at this hotel. I'd visit again just for the view!

Took my son on a staycation for his 10th birthday, and the pools here blew me away! Room was nice and clean, staff was very friendly, and my son and his friend LOVED the big water slide! Will definitely go back soon! Thank you LA Paloma!

This is a gorgeous place to stay for the weekend or to host a big event. The staff is friendly and helpful throughout the resort. The grounds are well maintained with abundant local Southwest vegetation. All around are absolutely beautiful views of the Catalina mountains. The spa is perfect relaxation (the massage I had with Sondra was wonderful), while the multiple pools offer hours of fun for all ages. Our room was spacious and included a porch area with privacy. The entire stay was a fantastic experience.

My husband and I usually spend our anniversary here however this time around the pool area was very unkept food and trash everywhere we will not be revisiting this place our room smelt of vomit they did change her rooms however there were no combinations made to meet a lot of issues that we did have this time around

Our room smelled like sewage. The rooms were double beds which are small. We came with a group of friends which paid the same price as we did. They were given 3pm checkout while we were only offered 12pm checkout. Quite a few rude guest but that has nothing to do with the resort. Not only did I experience the rudeness but also witness it happened to others. I talked to the other guest who experienced it to lighten the situation. Again this part has nothing to do with the resort as I know being polite is not one of the requirements to stay at La Paloma or any hotel for that matter. This was just my experience this time. Been for food and drinks a separate time and thought the place was amazing.

The bath tubs were very leaky. I would feel about top up with water to take a bath and I would have a slow leak training out because of all of the calcium build-up on the drain that the plug wouldn't close all the way. The bath tub could have also been cleaner. I cleaned it before I took a bath. The chairs outside by the pool also super uncomfortable for my back. Be aware that the and slay tion and the rooms are almost non existent. We could hear the people above us the whole entire stay. The 1st part of a stay there are children staying above us on the 2nd floor so it sounded like a bowling alley. Customer service to shirt us not they checked out and it was just a couple So the noise would stop. It didn't. He really should have better insulation. To be fair at the very beginning they offered for us to change rooms but then also said that the people be checking out the next day so the know I should stop. My husband and I decided we don't wanna pack up just for one night. Had we known that it would have been the whole week we would have just changed rooms in the beginning. Other than that it was an awesome stay. Great customer service and beautiful rooms.

Disappointed with charging practices. I paid in advance. Was assured I should only expect a hold of $100 for incidentals. The hold was for 280+ dollars. I was told it was forcfirst night and incidentals. However my hotel stay was paidcand cleared before I arrived. I checked out on 9/22 but another hold of 280+ was placed on my card on 9/23. The manager ofcthe AZUL restaurant was condescending when a colleague and I expressed concern about the bitterness of the mixed green salad. He never offered another or anything in it's place. Said he would have the kitchen staff check it when they had time. When I asked what that peocessed looked like he said he would have them taste it, when they had time. If they agreed they would discard it. He never advised any further. When my meal came (extremely late) he asked "is this ok" with a terribly condescending tone. My meal was over $60 with no apology, offer of of anything to replace the salad, or a comp by the manager. The waiter however was good and without asking removed the desert charge for my party because we had waited so long for our meal.

Had dinner at Contigo. The food was excellent but the service was mediocre at best. Having eaten there before and enjoying it tremendously, this waiter seemed preoccupied and disinterested.

It's a good property and very friendly staff. The pools there are amazing and I had a great time. The property is also dog friendly which is good because my dog needed to come with due to an injury she had prior to my stay. I would have given 5 stars but the elevators for where I was didn't work and it made things a bit difficult having an injured pup and having my grandmother who can't really do stairs. Outside of that I would highly recommend staying there.

Hotel location is beautiful, but it's almost as if no one is working there. The pools were packed (it was 105+ degrees out so not much else to do) but they only had what seemed like one person taking drink orders. In addition, multiple times we tried the assist line and no one answered. On our last night we even had to call the front desk (luckily someone answered) to get housekeeping! That's not even mentioning the little ants that were all over the bathroom (and which all got stuck in the sink leading to a nice surprise every morning)!

In short, while the location is nice and the hotel has potential, you can do better elsewhere.

I'll give 2 stars because the staff was very nice and friendly. Other than that, it seems like room 276 needs a new carpet and deep cleaning all over.
We noticed the recliner smelled like someone threw up on it . I literally had to put it outside on the second day. Also the pool definitely needs cosmetic work. Our knees and ankles are all scraped up. I thought about complaining but we just decided to make the best of it and get a different hotel for the rest of our vacation...This was our favorite resort from years ago . Hope they can update it soon...

My girlfriend and I stayed here Friday the 8th and we had a pleasant time. We were checked in but had a small issue with the gift certificate we were given. In our room we learned there was a newborn baby in the room next to us. The crying was so loud we could hear it through the wall so we checked if we could possible switch rooms so it wouldn't keep us up at night. The hotel graciously switched us rooms and sent a bell man with the new keys, a golf cart, and a ride to our new room. We are locals that usually do hotel tours on the weekends. We appreciate the hospitality and look forward to a future stay.

If I could give zero stars I would. We are still guests. We tried to use the card to skip housekeeping for Sunday after arriving Saturday. Little did we know by putting this card out once we were signifying we wanted no housekeeping services for our entire stay which will be a week. The front desk manager said that was the policy but the card says per day not per stay. Expecting a guest staying at a Westin to forgo services for a week is unacceptable. My husband spoke with Natalia at the front and agreed our room would be cleaned today (Thursday.) We came back four hours later to an untouched room and our door standing open. This has undoubtedly been the most horrible experience we have experienced as a guest at any hotel. So do not touch the cards to help to be green least you find yourself in the same situation.

If you're looking for a great resort in Tucson then you probably found your place. Located not too far from downtown with a beautiful of the valley and the mountain my location is perfect. Great treatment Bonvoy members more spg like and that is great in my book.

This is an expansive and well run resort capable of catering to families as well as large business symposiums. Nice restaurant but pricey. Stayed in winter and it was unfortunately cold. I would like to visit during warmer weather. There is a lot of good competition for resorts in the Tucson foothills!

Great facility. Private rooms. Friendly staff. Plenty to do. Beautiful pools with a separate adults only area. Poolside service of delicious, refreshing drinks. All of the food was superb. Spa was relaxing. No reason to leave the resort! Even on a super busy holiday weekend everything was smooth!

James at the desk was incredibly rude when I called asking about why fireworks are going off in our neighborhood on a random Tuesday. Very disrespectful to allow this when in a neighborhood environment.

The rooms are very spacious. The beds are very comfortable. The shower and water pressure is amazing. The only downfall was some ants in the bathroom which wasn't a huge problem given the desert landscaping and the blow dryer wasn't working properly and the extra charges for upgraded wifi. Other than that a beautiful place to stay.

ROACHES!!!

ROACHES!!!

First let me start with it's a nice hotel we drove over 3 hours to take our kids to one of the most fun pools and resort. We got there at 8pm swam for a bit went to eat, went to bed. Woke up in the morning to my kids finding roaches on the wall! Big roaches... I explained what happened and was treated rudly from the checkout stand, brushed me off, wouldn't make eye contact, refused to be just kind or recognize how we might find it disgusting. I will post video and photos

Not up to 4 star standards. Only one chair provided on terrace, making it impossible for couples to enjoy terrace. They offer option of bypassing daily room maintenance for a $5 credit but never made good on credit even though bypassed room maintenance. Bags of garbage left out in hallway for over a day. On plus side, food was excellent and reasonably priced considering the quality.

Great trip although it rained, then hailed. Beautiful place, great service, and friendly staff. And kid-friendly activities all throughout the day, although I'm a bit disappointed they cancelled smores night after it rained even though it wasn't raining anyone. But good overall.

A highly overrated Resort in Tucson. Went there for brunch and had eggs benedict. You would think if you have a chef he could make that correctly. Not so much. This place is not worth your hard-earned dollar

2pnts for nice pool! Suite smells like feet!! Can not reach ANY ONE for guest services! Room phone doesnt work no way to call house keeping. Central reservations transferred to onsite restaurant, then transferred to another 15min HOLD again!! Maids on site cleaning say 'cant help, cart inventory controlled & must call front desk!Circle to nowhere ! Very expensive - be prepared > Once you check in - you are on your own!

Was a great facility in a beautiful setting. Can't speak for the price as we were fortunate enough to have family pay for the visit. Would definitely come back and enjoy pool when warmer.

Came for an incredible 3-day conference that was impressively organized with great service and food during breaks! This is a beautiful destination with incredible views and a massive pool area. However, a friend in a next door room had several issues: a few bugs in her room, a constant bad smell like sewage in her room, finding trash in the pool at night, and waiting for an hour for a request from the front desk, from which received no apology upon cancellation. Surprising mistakes. A random additional suggestion: extended hours for the pool bar! It currently closes at 5, which is a bit of a bummer.
