I love this hotel. We had a business trip recently, and this may be my favorite hotel I have ever stayed at. Room service, staff, in-room menu, amenities (POOL COMPLEX), gym with classes, spa, playhouse for kids, tennis courts, gift shop with local products, plenty of parking, multiple restaurants, option for having a greener stay, huge maintained property, epic view of mountains, etc. I sat in a (not the, a, as there are multiple) hot tub during the super bowl, which they screened on a projector while offering up super bowl foods to a large crowd of guests. One Wednesday morning, I heard a sonata from a native flute instrument, and another morning, a hummingbird flew in front of my face. There are some reviews that say it is noisy, but they probably just had noisy neighbors, which can happen anywhere. The only downside is that it is 30 minutes from downtown, which I didn't mind because the drive is beautiful, even though others staying there for the work event did.

Overall service is good. However, check in was delayed until 1700 with one of our rooms. One of our room service orders did not arrive for almost 60 minutes after it was ordered. Beds were comfortable. Staff very helpful.

Really nice place. Beautiful spacious rooms with comfy beds and nice TVs. A beautiful pool that's been recently updated. It has a slide for the kids and multiple hot tubs for the parents. It even has a cold tub for the hot summer. Very courteous staff that is very accommodating. I stayed here for a conference and was very pleased with my experience.

My parents came to visit from California and we put them up at the Westin. Such a perfect place for them! My mom loved the pool and my children had a blast visiting them and swimming all day.

We stayed here in July as part of a large reunion group. Hundreds of loud happy people gather every year and take over the place. The staff couldn't be nicer or more helpful. The buildings are spread out which can make for a lot of walking but also makes it quieter. We had a second floor end room and slept well (except for the noisy air conditioner!) Rooms have a refrigerator and coffee maker with Starbucks coffee pods (not Keurig). The grounds are lovely with paths lined with cactus and native plants. Several pools and huge lounging areas, a cold mineral pool, hot tub and slide. The pool staff was amazing! We did have to clear out a couple of times due to storms nearby. Restaurants would be the only downside, one cafe was super slow to serve and seemed understaffed. The other restaurant is up scale Italian with higher prices. We loved the Westin La Paloma and hope to be back in 5 years.

The location is quiet and appealing. Loved the adult pool concept which allowed me to relax away from the kids. They water slide is a fantastic touch. Rooms and beda are comfortable. The golf cart ride to my room was very welcomed. Food and drinks were excellent and reasonably priced. The service is to die for.

This is one of the top 2 resorts in Tucson IMHO, if not the best (Starpass being a close runner up). The Westin has an AMAZING outdoor area and pool (also heated in the fall) that even has a waterfall, beautiful views being nestled up to the Catalina Mountains, and is only minutes from many top shopping and dining locations (La Encantada Shopping Plaza, etc.)

Overall, I'm unimpressed. On arrival we we're greeted by stained carpet and a long line at check-in. The room wasn't ready, but the clerk said they would call us when the room was ready. Two hours later still no phone call. We went to the front desk and they said the room was ready and stated that someone forgot to call. The room had a well used look with scratched furniture and black grout in the shower. We tried to go to one of the on site restaurant's but were informed that it was booked for a special occasion. The front desk didn't inform us of that on check in. Went for a drink at the lobby bar. There was a giant crumb on the table. Had a server come by four times. The crumb was still there when we left. The drink was good though. Tried to go to the pool. Many kids at the adult pools. I could go on, but I won't. Overall it was a disappointment.

Had a great experience at the resort. Grounds were clean and we'll kept, staff was courteous, and the rooms were large and well appointed. We will definitely be back for a longer stay in the future.

Great service! Jasmine at check in was phenomenal. Pool area really nice and great slide. Azul and Contiga were both very good. Rooms a little dated but still very nice. The golf course was AMAZING, Todd and Nick in the pro shop were really helpful

Nothing bad to say here. Beautiful property, clean rooms and facilities. We've been coming here for years for our staycations. Enjoy the many pools, slide, music, and movies at the pool.

I've been a member of La Paloma for 30+ years and grew up using the facilities at the country club. I now occasionally stay at the Westin La Paloma when I come home to visit family. This trip, the hotel staff announced on arrival that they'd be imposing a mandatory per-day "resort fee" in addition to the room rate I agreed to when I'd booked the room. I did not appreciate this surprise, and I will be looking at other accommodations in the future.

Beautiful views, nice shower and double sink in a nice large bathroom. Beautiful property. Did not like the parking for the hotel, slow and limited property transportation. Unclear signage...etc. Room was not clean, including trash under desk and refrigerator was dirty. Room smelled gross as well. Some of the lights in the room were not operational. Pool was nice, but overly crowded.

I was very disappointed in our recent stay. Even though it was during the Covid pandemic we decided to stay at a highly rated resort for our 5th anniversary. There was only about a dozen people staying there, yet we were all out in one of the buildings instead of spread around in the hundreds of rooms available, which means I had guests above us walking all over, as well as other people to the left and right of us. The room was at 79 degrees when checking in, and even though I put it to 60 degrees, it never went below 76 degrees after 12 hours. The refrigerator did not work well and turned off sometime during the night. The grounds are awesome and the bed was nice, otherwise they would have received a one star. From now on, I will only stay at a Lowes resort.

The rooms were really nice: comfy beds, pretty views and an incredible bathroom! The pools are fantastic, the weight room is fully stocked, there's a lot to do here. We really enjoyed our stay.

The facility was very nice, a 9 out of 10. The beds were very comfortable and the rooms clean, 8 out of 10. Food was okay at the restaurants but $27 for a somewhat burned pizza from room service was disappointing. I was disappointed that the tip for room service was included in the bill then asked for again on the receipt. I would have left a larger tip if it hadn't already been taken from me without my consent. 6 out of 10. Service was exceptional, 10 out of 10. The staff greeted me upon arrival and expressed a sincere interest in helping out with directions, luggage, or anything else. The clerk at check-in was a professional who ignored my slightly bewildered questions and treated me like my words were important. Our servers during the luncheons were exceptional. It is clear staff are well-trained and understand how important it is to appreciate the opportunity to serve others. I had a little difficulty at first accepting that hotel staff could be so thoughtful and attentive. By the time I left, I knew I wanted to return to this outstanding resort.

Staff was rude I felt like an intruder not a guest! AC does not work, couldn't sleep well due to sweating all night long. Couldn't get a reservation for dinner had to leave resort to eat. 0 stars worst resort experience. I booked 4 rooms here for my family and friends we all had same issues not isolated events. Tucson Native this place used to be Legendary!

The rooms were nice and clean. Bathrooms were large and spacious as well. The only issue was they ran out of towels and we had to wait until the next morning to get new towels. How does a hotel as big as the Westin run out of towels?

Overall we had a great trip. The rooms were clean and well maintained. The service was accommodating and friendly. And the pools were great for relaxing, with plenty of seating. We got right into our room and we felt like anything we might need could be provided. The resort grounds are well maintained with attractive landscaping.

We did run into some issues. Our housekeeping didn't come after being gone all day and a few hours in the evening. The pool area wasn't kept clean and food was falling into the pool as well as towels being left all over the place. We didn't use any of the on-site amenities because it was all very overpriced. We also lost power overnight, which woke us up because of the heat (though this would be hard for them to control). The elevator didn't work by our room and the bathtub drain was broken and to small for a normal sized person. I don't recommend the standard room... They are quite boring for a resort!

Overall it was good and we'll probably visit again... Though other resorts in the area will probably see us again first.

Beautiful Hotel, BUT one of the pools is under construction or out of service, and you lose the whole beauty of the 5 pools so they say they have. Also service at Azule Restaurant is not the best

I had an excellent experience. I stayed in a King suite and found it to be spacious, clean and updated. The view, from the C building, was spectacular and I know for a fact that there's even better views than we had. The pool area was absolutely beautiful and accommodates every level of swimming/play. I really enjoyed the swim up bar! Be aware that there's quite a bit of walking as the hotel is sprawled out. However, the hotel offers golf cart transportation to and from your room along with valet parking. I look forward to my next visit.
